hello. i can't download Story onto a mac because Adobe doesn't like Yosemite. do i have to downgrade the OS or is there an easier way? other than waiting for the bug fix....?

So everybody would like to upgrade to have the new features right.

Adobe cs6 yosemite problems

After I wake the computer, and try to use an already open Photoshop CS6 window, I get strange patterns in the canvas. Purples. Greens. And when it's empty, it goes all black. A restart fixes this, until sleep. Happens every time. Anyone know a fix? Thank you.

New version of Flash won't install

The newest version of Flash 15.0.0.189 would not install on my Snow Leopard MacBook Pro.
So, I followed the instructions on the Adobe Help board and UN-installed the version that was working 15.0.0.125 (I think).
Now, not only can't I get Flash to install, I've got no Flash Player at all.
I've rooted out the plugins, the old installer folders, everything. Restarted. Still the installer stalls at 95% completion ... and jumps to 100% after a few seconds and tells me nothing except "Installation Failed".

I have the same problem, ever since I try to update to the latest version. Here is my logs. It clearly states that the installer is trying to do something as "root". Look at the line "

「Photoshop ファイルエラー -1」について

　メニューの編集、モーションメニューのレンダリング、及び、ブルーレイディスクのビルドの際に、
それぞれ下記のエラーが発生し、処理が中断されます。解決方法を教えてください。
①メニューの編集
　プロパティウィンドウでメニュー内のボタンの名前を変更しようとすると、
「Photoshop ファイルエラー -1」というメッセージボックスが開きます。
　OKを押すと、メニューのオブジェクト一覧に表示されるボタンの名称は変更されているものの、
ボタンのテキストは変更されていません。
　また、テキストツールを選択し、メニュー内のテキストを追加したい場所をクリックすると、
次のメッセージボックスが開きます。
"Sorry, an abnormal condition has been detected."
"Before quitting, you have one chance to save your project"
"(don't use the same name as the original)"
　さらにその後、マウスポインターのオンとオフが逆転し、常にメニュー内をドラッグするような挙動になります。
②モーションメニューのレンダリング
　メニューをモーションメニューにしてレンダリングを開始すると、すぐに①と同じメッセージボックスが開き、
OKを押すと処理が中断され、レンダリングができません。
③ブルーレイディスクのビルド
　ディスク形式でブルーレイを選択し、ビルドを開始すると、メニューのトランスコードが開始した直後に、
①と同じメッセージボックスが開きOKを押すと処理が中断され、ビルドできません。
　メニューをモーションメニューにせずに、ディスク形式をDVDにすると問題なくビルドできます。
次のような対応をしましたが、改善しませんでした。

そうでした。そのことを書き忘れておりました。
Java for OS X 2014-001を適用しました。
実は今回の不具合は、旧OSであるMarvericks使用時から起きておりまして、
Adobe社のトラブルシューティングの指示に従ってOSをYosemiteにアップデートしました。
その際にJavaが最新バージョンに更新されてしまい、Adobe Premiere Proが起動しなくなりました。
そこで、画面の指示に従い、一度最新バージョンのJavaをアンインストールし、
Java for OS X 2014-001をインストールしました。
その結果、Adobe Premiere Proは問題なく起動するようになりましたが、Encoreの不具合は改善しませんでした。
ですので、本事象は、Javaの問題ではなさそうです。。。

Adobe Bridge CC with OSX Yosemite - and i cant open RAW Files in Camera Raw. Does anybody have the same Problem?

What specific, exact versions of Bridge and of Yosemite?

Adobe Creative Cloud crashes immediately on launch, won't run on a new iMac 5K / Yosemite.

Adobe Creative Cloud installer (/Applications/Utilities/Adobe Creative Cloud/ACC/Creative Cloud.app) crashes immediately on launch, so I can't install CC on a new iMac 5K running Yosemite. Launching the app to fetch the rest of the CC programs crashes, saying "Creative Cloud quit unexpectedly."
I have an old CS3 Photoshop install, a newish Lightroom install, and now I need to install Premiere from my work Adobe ID. I think this may be the crux of the problem. If the CC Cleaner app worked as advertised, I could wipe the old Photoshop install and just use the new CC Photoshop and everything would be cool, but the CC Cleaner doesn't work. It looks like it works, but the problem persists. In fact, Adobe support told me via twitter that Adobe's installer basically doesn't work on migrated Macs (new Macs where old data has been set up from backups). They called it an OS conflict, but I pointed out that everything else works, so it's pretty much Adobe's conflict.
It seems like a permissions issue, and Adobe thinks it's a permissions issue blocking the ACC applet, yet I've repaired HD permissions and did Disk Repair, run Adobe's CC Cleaner multiple times, attempted to install CC in another admin account on the machine, attempted to install CC from Root, and repeated all this after reinstalling OS X via rebooting with Cmd+R, always end with the same result: Creative Cloud quit unexpectedly.
They also suggested I install on a clean disk, one that hasn't been migrated. To do that, I supposed I have to bring it back to Apple, since I have neither a Yosemite install disc, nor a drive to put one in.
I found an article called "CC applications close immediately after launch" but this tip doesn't work because Creative Cloud applet is the app I can't launch.

They sound like they're trying to help, but the responses sound like utter BS, and, like the support website, i'm going around in circles. I'm sure I'm not the only person who's had this problem, right? RIGHT?? I'm sure the answer is buried here someplace...

There doesn't seem to be an uninstaller for CS3, and I've tried the CC Cleaner tool several times. It doesn't work and it is not correctly documented anywhere. For example, there is no log file at "/Users/[user name]/Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.log" as one of the Adobe pages states. For example, there is no log file at "/Users/[user name]/Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.log" so I can't find any success or error states of the tool.
There is a log file at "/Users/[me]/Library/Logs/ACC.log." Would there be anything in there that could shine light on install issues vs. uninstall issues?
Regardless, running Cleaner and then attempting to install ACC repeatedly leads to the error "Creative Cloud quit unexpectedly" upon launching it or rebooting (which launches it automatically). I've been trying various things for weeks to no avail yet.

Every few minutes Adobe Bridge CC asks me to purge my cache. It is also running really slowly since I just upgraded to Yosemite.

Adobe Bridge is barely working after my recent upgrade to Yosemite (my computer is an imac that is less than one year old, and is working perfectly in non-Adobe programs). It never ever acted up for me, not even once, before. I use it frequently as I am a graphic designer. Previous to Yosemite I had NEVER gotten the purge cache message, and it never took longer than a few seconds to open folders with large amounts of raw photos. Now it has seriously effected my workflow, and I am considering just giving up on cc and reverting to cs5 which I still have on disk. I'm not going to pay the monthly fee if I can't use Bridge properly.
It frequently asks me to purge my cache, and also takes over 2 minutes to load a folder. I have the cache set to 500,000, and have tried all of the recommended settings and the problem persists. I just uninstalled and reinstalled bridge cc, and the first thing that popped up when I opened Bridge freshly after being reinstalled.... Was an message to purge my cache. This is really unexpected. Do you know what is going on??
Also, after Yosemite, Photoshop opens about every third photo as a mosaic of chopped up image parts and bright pink pixelated squares, then locks up so I have to quit out of it and reload photoshop.

I said that I had got back my Bridge today. It lasted 5 hours before it again crashed for the same reason with the cache problem. So it was only a temporary solution. I have maximum capacity in my Bridge cache. Every time I press the OK button after getting the message " Bridge encountered a problem and is unable to read the cache. Please try purging the central cache in the Cache Preferences to correct the situation", Bridge freezes.
Any other thoughts to remedy this please.

Adobe Creative Cloud (Desktop) does not work properly. The application is blocked : it could not be launch neither stopped. I'm on MAC Yosemite OS, does anyone know how to remove it properly or to force its stop. It does not appear in the launched applications.

I received no error message. The application was just trying to find applications unsuccessfully.
I am using MAC OS 10.10.1
I tried to uninstall the application but it seems that a kind of deamon is still installed thus providing me to reinstall properly. Do you know where are the elements to remove in order to get my machine just like before ?
Otherwise I would have to reinstall everything and this would be a pain.

I am running Mac OS 10.10.1. This only started happening when I installed the update of Adobe Acrobat.

Is the printer connected wirelessly or wired?
Go to Preferences and under categories go to > Convert to Pdf then select the Image Capture and then hit ok button.
Close Acrobat and then relaunch it and see if it helps you while you do scanning.

Is there a problem with Adobe+Yosemite or is it me?

My applemacbook pro has recently changed itself from OS Lion to Yosemite. Flash player then stopped working. I have tried every which way to install Flashplayer which has always worked well before. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it several times. It tells me it has been installed but when I look I can only see 'Shockwave Flash 17.0 r0 — from file “Flash Player.plugin”' which seems to give me Application future splash and application shockwave splash. I don't see application flash player. I can't open files needing flash without the 'get adobe icon' showing. Plugins are enabled. I've been through the forums and am now at wits end. Please if I haven't done something can you tell me simply, in easy steps, not assuming I might understand contractions of in-club computer language!! Maybe the problem isn't mine at all??? Maybe there's a conflict with Yosemite? If I look at the install arrow at the top of the screen it has been highlighted. If I click on it it tells me I have Adobe Flash Player to install and then the circle starts again. I click on it and try to reinstall once again! Many thanks to anyone who can help me.

Try using the offline installer from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

If Safari does not display pdf forms in the browser window, uninstall all older versions of Adobe Reader and download the most recent one. First close Safari and then install Reader. Launch Safari and you ought to be able to open the pdf files inside the Safari window. If you install Adobe Reader 10.1.x without first closing Safari, Safari will not display the pdf file inside its browser window until it is re-launched. but after the new installation with this folder is completely empty and I am still
unable to open these pdf.
Does anybody knows anything else I can do?

In the details it is mentioned that it is an outdated version of Java.
Is this a security risk that i need to live with to get CS5 to run with Yosemite?
Also i need to reject messages from Java in the future about updates, or not?

I just tried the link and it is just fine. If the GateKeeper pops up then open Security & Privacy preferences, click on the General tab, set the last radio button to Anywhere.
