Adobe Viewer App ipad Bug?

I use the Adobe Viewer App on an ipad4. After the latest update the folios which i download and view are fe. after an hour away when i put the ipad an standby. I always have to download the issues again. But if i go to the settings/delete issues it shows still the downloaded issues.
Any solution?

This is a known issue in the current release of the content viewer. It will be addressed with an update next week.

Distribute publication via Adobe Viewer.app on iPad?

Is there anything to stop someone from publishing a publication via the Adobe Viewer.app on the iPad? I realize this wouldn't be ideal, since it's a non-branded viewer, etc., but legally, is this "against the rules"?

Sorry, maybe I gave the wrong impression.
What I meant was, is there anything against my sharing a publication via the Adobe Viewer.app on the iPad. I'm not talking about sharing an IPA, I'm talking about sharing the publication within the Viewer.app. For example, I create the publication in InDesign and once it's complete, I then "Share" it via the Folio Builder panel to the people I want to share it with (roughly 50-60 people). Then, using their Adobe ID, they could log in, via the Viewer.app on the iPad, and download the publication to their device.
Again, not ideal since it's not branded (ie. you have to access the publication via the Viewer.app), but it's a free solution. Not that I'm looking for a free solution, but since doing what I've been asked to do by my client — ie. release a 1-off, in-house app via an iOS Enterprise Developer Account — requires a minimum $50,000+ buy-in for the Adobe DPS Enterprise Edition subscription, this seems like my only option (outside of not using the Adobe DPS).
Thoughts?

Revert to earlier Adobe Viewer app (not v22)? urgent

I updated to the v22 Adobe Viewer app and have had nothing but trouble. Is there a way to install an older version to get back to where I was? I should have used more caution before updating. This is an urgent matter.

This problem has recurred and any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I need to resolve this immediately so any help would be fantastic.
I am using CS5.5, Folio Builder is v 7.5.8.22 and the Adobe Viewer on the iPad is 2.7.1 (v22). My current folio is v22 in the Builder. I have tested v21 and v20 without success.
I am testing on 3 iPads, two iPad 3s and one iPad 2.
On the newest iPads, I am getting the error "Please update your app. This issue is available for purchase but requires a new version of the app. Please update your app from the App Store."
Should I be able to publish using CS5.5 using a v22 folio to the v22 Adobe Contenter Viewer?
Also, I have two folios in the Viewer. How do I know which is causing the error message?

HTML Article performance issues in Adobe Viewer on iPad

I have created a HTML Article using DPS but when I come to view it on Adobe Viewer in iPad the content does not scroll smoothly and the content is cut off and cropped (the whole page is not displayed), it is very judery and struggles to render the HTML below 'the fold' so to speak.
I have tried both options for importing HTML into DPS and both have the same performance/lag isuues.
I have a video in my HTML that seemed to be causing an issue where the video streaming was struggling to be pulled through, so I have treid YouTube and Vimeo video streaming and the performance/display issue is not resolved. I then tried embbeding an mp4 directly using HTML5 to see if it was a connection/bandwidth issue and the problem still exists. However the videos do play, its just the fact that the container is cropped in half.
Sometimes the whole HTML article renders but then when you swipe back up the page it struggles to render the content above? Also then when you swipe back down the page the content is also cropped that was visible before?
I have reviewed every available discussion on the Adobe Community and other resources but all the fixes mentioned do not have any effect.
If anybody can assist or has been experiencing the same issues any advise would be welcome.
Oh, the HTML Article contains some JS too, it does function correctly but I was wondering if JS causes problems? Just a thought.

Well, I think I may have found the answer so I thought I would share with the Community incase anyone else experiences the same type of issues.
After testing another peice of HTML that also included video streaming and heavy JavaScript, I narrowed the issue down to my JS. I had two Nivo Slider Carousels that were the route of the performance issues.
The other test HTML Article scrolls smoothly and the video pulls in as intended, although once in a while there is a slight delay in the page scrolling up and down but this is hardly noticeable.
I hope this may be of some help to other's in the future?

Error in Adobe Viewer for iPad

When trying to dowload a new folio from Adobe Viewer from iPad, the following error paperers: "Ensure that each articles has the same orientation setting, all portrait, all landscape or all dual"
Any clues on what could be making this error appearing?

A folio can only either have all article in single orientation (portrait/landscape) or both. Check to make sure all article share the same oreitnation flow throughout

Problems on viewing OEM with video on the Adobe viewer APP on ipad air 8.1 with EDGE ANIMATE CC 2014.1

hi everyone
i had this problems and i don't know if is for my fault or is something related to a bug
i made an animation with a video ( i try it before just with an mp4, but later i add also the OGV in the same Group ) and one object , if you click on the object you launch a website link on a different windows and the video and the stage are in PAUSE, if you click again the video the video START.
it's very simple and on the web preview ( and on the export for WEB package ) all works properly, but if i want to view by the Adobe content viewer APP on my connected ipad ( via indesign ) i'm not able to see the video i just see the poster image and the object ( with the working link, that launch a new tab in the APP), but NOT the video in background!
INDESIGN procedure
In indesign i add the OEM on my page and launch via the folio overlay the preview on my connected ipad
is not the first time i work with animation on DPS APP, and everytime all works good
after quite a whole day on try different solutions but with the same result i hope in this forum to find help on solve this problem, from more experienced people than i

but via IPAD ( SAFARI, CHROME and MERCURY) i didn't see the video, just the animation of the BUTTON and the link if i click on it (not in Mercury), like in the content viewer.

Problem with "small black line in right margin" with Folio Builder / Adobe Viewer in Ipad. Id CC.

When I create a Folio Builder and I check my Id project in the Adobe Viewer (It happens in the Ipad App and in the Desktop Viewer), I can see a black line in the right margin (maybe 4 px). And I can't adjust my background (It's an object with a colour) to use the "full resolution available for the app in the ipad", and yes, I'm using rules and I can see that my background object it's 1024 x 768. I have tryed several projects and upgraded the project to the "30 version".
But I'm a new user with ID/DPS. So, is this a reported bug? Or I'm doing sth wrong?
And for me, the most important question, will this problem be solved when I send my project to the applestore and DPS transform my Folio to the Store? Or what I see now it's what I will see?

Content viewer app ipad space usage

I am using the Adobe Content Viewer app on the iPad for DPS. The four apps/folios I have downloaded in the viewer are 7mb, 195mb, 634mb and 486mb (1.2GB). But when I go to my iPad Settings/Usage it says the content viewer app is using 6.5GB in total. Does anybody know why or how to clear the content viewer cache etc?

On a computer, sign in to http://digitalpublishing.acrobat.com and follow the prompts to verify your email account with DPS. You should then be able to sign in.

There a a few problems/limitations I'm running into with the Adobe Content Viewer for Ipad 1 (not tested on 2), like:
Autoplaying more than 1 multiple-state is impossible. Only the object in the highest place in the layers is visible (like having pulsing navigation arrows and a fade in text) -works perfectly in de windows Adobe Content Viewer with Indesign 5.5
Autoplay of an multistate object with 'stop at last frame' does not work. It just fades the entire multistate object out, instead of holding. -works perfectly in de windows Adobe Content Viewer with Indesign 5.5.
Cropping Images (changing the objectbox) in indesign, becomes skewed (or squashed) like the image just gets pushed in the new objectbox size.
Buttons with a click image/appearence become invisible in a multistate object. -works perfectly in de windows Adobe Content Viewer with Indesign 5.5.
Some ideas for change
Not allowing an Overlay (which is larger than the page itself) on a page depth of 1, on top of a page with depth 0. Seeing content of the page below the currentpage seems quite unuseful.
Allow multistate objects to autoplay within another multistate object (thus allowing like a: menu catagorie wich can call an autoplaying slideshow)
Zooming in on an image without first having to tap on it to enable zooming.
Updating content button.
Hitting the update button in Indesign cs5.5 (windows) doesn't update all changed content.
Hitting download update in de Adobe Content Viewer (Ipad 1) doesn't change all changed content. Archive and redownload nessesary.
We would love to see the top issues working.

Does Adobe Viewer on iPad support Search, Bookmark and Highlight Text?

I would like to know if the Adobe Viewer for the iPad support the Search, Bookmark and Highlight Text features.... Or if some of these features are planned to be developed later and when.

Unable to log into Adobe Viewer on iPad

I am typing in the correct Adobe ID and password - unable to authenticate - even though I have verified my account through email. Some co-worker are having the same issue.

Could you please try login at https://files.acrobat.com from browser and check if it recognizes your email or gives error. Now log again from your iPad Adobe reader app, probably you will face no issue.

Ayant développer des pdf intéractifs avec vidéo et son et cela entièrement sur indesign, j'aimerai pouvoir les avoir syncronisés avec l'adobe content viewer.
Mais impossible de s'y connecter avec l'ipad car à chaque fois le même message apparait:
"impossible de se connecter"
Alors que mes id adobe et mot de passe fonctionnent parfaitement sur le site adobe et sur acrobat.com.
Je ne sais plus quoi faire étant donné que j'ai déjà essayé de faire toutes les mises à jour, de changer d'id adobe, et de mot de passe.
Mais le message s'affiche encore et toujours sur adobe content viewer à la moindre tentative de connection...

Looking for older version of iPad apps such as adobe viewer for iPad system 5.0 cannot seem to find what I need at the moment

I looked on apple and adobe website before posting here, couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. Usually am very good at this sort of thing. But will keep trying till I find it.

Adobe viewer crashing on ipad

My DPS presentation quit unexpectedly from the Adobe Viewer app on the ipad.
I notified that it's happen only in my article that contents a lot of multi-states objects and buttons in the same pages. In 3 pages, I made about 20 buttons creating 20 pop-up window (multi-states objects) and each state has 2 buttons inside. (one linking to a page in the same article an one other to close the pop-up window.) All the fonctions work but then crash after 4 or 5 times activated. Every pop-up window links to a different page in the article. My presentation has about 60 pages. (each contents a link to come back to one of the 3 pages and 2 others to a page in a different article of the folio -navto:// )
Does my article's page content too much links? Too much buttons?
Does Adobe Viewer application can support that much interactivity in a same article?
Are there a maximum pages for an article?
The format of my article is in PNG, is it better in PDF? Can it be the problem?
I'm looking for a solution, I have tried a lot of things but each time it's crashing again.

Thank you very much for your answer. Finally I found the problem, and it wasn't about the number of links, overlays or buttons. Good news, the Adobe Viewer can support all of them! Maybe iPads are more performant than we expected!
The problem that caused the inexpectedly quitting was in my overlays. My presentation contents 3 pages as a repertoire of logos that links to a page of description of each of them. With my pop-up windows, I created a mask in transparency that covers all 3 pages by making a rectangle 3times the size of a regular page. Don't know if you understand.. ?! But the point is: it's not possible to create an overlay that interracts on multiple pages on the same time. The overlays had to be inside the workspace, 1024 X 768px in the iPad's case.
Also, I tried to import as PDF instead of PNG, but it created a blur when I arrived to the linking page on the article. PNG is probably better.
