Adobe wont download a trial lightroom

I have logged in followed all instructions but Adobe still wont download it,s trial of lighroom,is there a problem at Adobe ?

  • I have downloaded a trial version of lightroom 4 to upgrade from my lightroom 3, but it wont open.

    Hi all, I have downloaded a trial version of lightroom 4 to see if I want to upgrade from my lightroom3, but it wont open on my pc. It keeps asking me what program I want to use to open it with, and when I click adobe reader it tells me that it is not a supported file type or the file has been damaged! Help!???

    When I click on the program download in the download file, it asks me if I want to open it. When I click open, it then asks me which program I want to use to open it with, (this window lists all programs such as Nero, internet explorer adobe reader etc) and automatically highlights adobe reader. After I click open with the adobe reader highlighted, it then tells me that it cannot open Lightroom because it is not a supported file type, or the file has been damaged! I have downloaded it twice but neither one is able to open. Thanks so much.

    Hello, I recently downloaded a trial version of Lightroom and then decided to get the monthly photoshop membership.  Now, when I launch Lightroom, my choices are to enter a serial number to continue the trial.  On the adobe website, it says "You can convert your trial to a Creative Cloud complete or single-app membership by purchasing on the Creative Cloud website. After you purchase your membership, your desktop product trial will automatically be licensed upon relaunch."  But this is not the case.  I do not want to risk losing my catalog and the work I have already done in Lightroom, so what should I do?

    You should be able to install CC on a second computer, licensing rules allow you to install on two computers.

  • Have lightroom 5 hard copy and just got a mac.  downloaded the trial version of LR5 from the web, but it will not take my serial number.  gives me an invalid serial number error

    i have had lightroom 5 for some time now, and have used on my pc.  I just got a mac (no disc drive) so I downloaded the trial version of LR5 from the adobe site.  Once installed, i tried to key in my serial number. 
    I get an invalid serial number error.
    has anyone ran into this before?

  • Subscriber 5.5cc used cc trial cleaner adobe sends me to trial download site

    Can anybody with real knowledge about Adobe CS CC suite authentication failure recommend a remedy?
    Have continuously used CS5.5cc app subscription for which I subscribed over a year ago. I have used it almost continuously/contiguously and payment is automatically paid monthly on my AMEX
    Adobe doesn't acknowledge the purchase now (per my account details). 
    have been attempting to start  CS 5.5cc app (PS specifically) for several hours. 
    Downloaded Adobe CS Suite version extension files for Mac. ran it and system is devoid of any app files
    Now I am being returned to a different Adobe server to once again force me to start a new trial.

    there is an adobe cs 5.5 suite and an adobe cc suite (in addition to cs, cs2,cs3,cs4,cs5 and cs6).  but there is no adobe cs5.5cc suite and there are no cs5.5cc apps.
    the only subscription available is adobe cc through which you can install adobe cc and adobe cs6 apps, but not cs5.5 or older apps.

    I downloaded the trial version of lightroom so after the 30 days was up, I bought the full version but it won't get passed Trial expired on creative cloud. and it keeps saying develop module on lightroom is disabled please buy full version, and i have?     Please let me know as to what OS you are using and any error message you get while downloading.
    You can follow the steps below to download the trial software diectly without using the download manager.
    1. Navigate to Lightroom 4 Downloads page : https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop_lightroom&promoid&promoid=D TEML
    2. Sign in with your Adobe ID.
    3. Copy and paste the following links on the address bar corresponding to the OS you are using and hit enter :

  • Error 4960 during Adobe Premier el 10 trial download/installation

    So I got this error in the end of the downloading process of the adobe premier elements 10 trial. Opens a dialog screen, attached a picture below:
    I tried canceling download, force quiting bloody download assitant, uninstaling download assistant, but still get this error when opening this program. For some resons buttons pause and stop download do not respond. Can I somehow download the premier elements trial through the direct link on the internet without any download assistants? I am russian and it is like the frst time i tried to purchase an official application and pay for it in future, but after so much irritation I am about to go with pirate version without any concern of ethics and whats so ever.. By the way I am on mac os x ver 10.7.3

    Where were you trying to download the install files too?  This often occurs when choosing the Application folder to download the install files too.  I would recommend completing solution 1 in Troubleshoot Adobe Download Assistant - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-download-assistant.html#main_Solutio n_1.  Please choose the default location of the User folder to download the install files too.
    Alternately you can follow the steps listed at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369 to initiate a direct download.
