Adobe X Application Manager stopped

I have reloaded Adobe X from a DVD using the correct serial numbers, as a recent upgrade failed with a message: Error 1328 Error applying patch to file C:\Config.Msi\PT2C16.tmp. The help menu suggested that I delete Adobe X and reload it. I have reloaded it twice but when I try to launch Adobe X I get the message: Adobe Application Manager has stopped working

    The Creative Cloud File Synching was just offline, should be online now again.

    Maybe that was your problem.

  • Trying to reinstall Adobe CC Application Manager but it stops mid-way and doesn't do anything

    I made the mistake of clicking update on the Adobe Creative Cloud Application Manager.  It stopped responding in the middle of the process.  After some time, I just rebooted the computer.
    when I tried to start the program, it did not work.  Tried several times with no success.  So I finally uninstalled the program, and have tried to reinstall it.  It only gets part way through the process and it just seems to stop working.  the Windows task manager does not say it has stopped responding, but it also shows no activity.  Nothing is downloading, and the program is not active even after waiting  a long time.  It just doesn't seem to be doing anything.  Help!  How do I get it to reinstall?

    I've just bought Premiere Pro. I've downloaded the Application Manager, but whenever I try to open it it stops responding and I have to force quit the program. I'm on a MacBook Pro. Has anyone else had problems with this?

    Could you please try renaming OOBE Folder from this location and try launching AAM.
    ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe
    In case if it doesnt work then please try creating Another Admin User Account and see if AAM works there or not.

  • Can't launch Adobe Muse "Application Manager is Needed" but i can't isntall it, just purchased a license for a year in adobe muse :(

    Hello, always that i close and then try to open adobe muse, i got an error that says that i need the "Application Manager" to launch it, so i went to download it. After i entered in the page that it provides ( www.adobe.com/go/applicationmanager_es ) it says that if i'm an already member of creative cloud that i should follow a ling that it's there, wich redirects me to download the creative cloud app. . Ok so i download it and installed, and then it works at the first time, but when i close Adobe Muse the error happens again, so i went directly to download the application manager, but when i'm installing it another error pops up and says that it can't be installed, that i should download Adobe Support Advisor ... ... ok so i went to download it, but i just went to find out that the application has been discontinued ... i had this problem since i installed Adobe Muse, so, i just uninstalled Creative Cloud and then re-install it (took me around 30 mins. or so) ... but i don't want to do that everytime i need to use adobe muse, those errors shouldn't happen i was so excited because i got adobe muse ... here are some screens

    Hello, i tried them but didn't work.
    The solution 1 never worked at the star
    The solution 2 got a 0 when checking wth the command fsutil behavior query disable8dot3
    I installed creative cloud again and it worked, but when i close muse everything starts to happen again ... the only solution for now is that i have to uninstall creative cloud and then re install it, or it wont let me use adobe muse. I downloaded an old version but, can't work with newest proyects so, it's not useful at all because i can't continue the projects in the updated one

  • Creative cloud desktop application manager stopped working

    I've been using CC for about 6 months with no problems. However, after updating Adobe Acrobat, the CC desktop app manager stopped working. I tried reinstalling it, and then running the Creative Cloud set-up, but that didn't work either. It looks like it's trying and then the set-up just stops. Nothing. No error message. Just won't work. I'm using Windows 7 Professional.

    Salve, faccio questa domanda per il semplice fatto che:
    1) Quando vi sono gli aggiornamenti, arriva una notifica da entrambi (avevo una suite CS6 e sono passato alla suite CC con il pacchetto completo) e posso sia aprire "il programma di aggiornamento" e sia farlo con Creative cloud, occupa spazio inutile insomma e toglie risorse che possono essere importanti per le altre app;
    2) Quando avvio, ad esempio, Photoshop, application manager mi dice di "completare la registrazione del prodotto", ma creative cloud non ha bisogno di ciò, visto che già le attiva da solo accedendo con il mio account.
    Quindi vi chiedo: Se disinstallo Adobe AIR con conseguente disinstallazione dell'application Manager ed utilizzo SOLO Creative Cloud... posso farlo? O potrebbero esserci problemi?

    Problema risolto. Per chi, come me, aveva bisogno di aiuto e cercava risposte in questa domanda, potete tranquillamente disinstallare Adobe AIR se non avete installato Adobe Muse CC.

  • Application Manager stopped working

    The error message it says: UNABLE TO CONNECT TO ADOBE SERVER. RETRY.
    I tried in two computers in two different locations and the message is the same.
    And please do not tell me that is the firewall or something like that, because I haven't change anything in my computers (workplace and home).

    Well... as I said nothing changed in my computers. Both are running Windows 64 b. One Windows 7 and the other one Windows 8. Nothing have changed... just Adobe Application Manager says in both that is UNABLE TO CONNECT TO THE SERVER.
    I have seen more people today with similar issues and no conclusive answer from Adobe.

    After running Bit Defender - all my Adobe Air applications are no longer working.
    These are Tweet Deck
    SEESMIC Desktop
    basically they won't communicate with twitter - they say user name and password is wrong when it is not.

    That's odd, I had a problem with my Twitter/Tweetdeck feed last week but it seemed to resolve itself.  I'm not sure what AIR could be doing to interfere here.  Have you tried a native application out to see if it is able to authenticate you with Twitter?  You might also want to check in the TweetDeck forums to see if others have encountered this issue.  Please let me know how it goes.

  • Adobe Application Manager Stopped working

    I have had the same problem as in many discussions, in which there seems to be few solutions. My AAM stopped working no specific error, I followed the idea of uninstalling all my creative cloud apps and started again only to have the AAM do exactly the same thing once downloaded and installed , now I have a paid subscription and no apps. Now when i click on AAM exe download file I get , "we've encountered the following issues: Installer failed to initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect problem." I have found this and will try to see if int gives any further information. It seems I have the AAM exe file somewhere but now cant find it.
    My system is Windows XP SP3.I have used the Adobe cleaner.

    Thes are all previos dtaes I have tried to update I presume. Should I just delete the data in the specified directories for indesign? Don't know what the fireworks erros mean!!

  • OS X Adobe Application Manager Crashes When

    I am on OS X 10.9.2.  When downloading the free trial from Adobe site, Application Manager briefly opens, and then crashes with an error box saying "Adobe Application Manager quit unexpectedly."  Any ideas?  I'll try to reinstall the App Manager and see what happens.

    Also, if you use certain features in Essbase that are easy to add in EAS, you end up with outline verification problems in AppMgr, including problems in member calcs.<BR><BR>We are on 7.1.3, but some of our financial users do still have AppMgr 6.5.4. Our IT team is using EAS 7.1.5, but resorted to AppMgr for a few tasks where our instalation of EAS 7.1.3 was still buggy, primarily in security.<BR><BR>I'd recommend using EAS as much as possible. We're running it on Websphere and SQLServer on our test server and our web server; A couple of us also run a Tomcat/MySQL installation on our desktops in case of server difficulties.

    Good luck with that, and don't forget to deactivate CS6. 
    My system is slowing down after nearly two years, and I am dreading a reinstall - there always seems to be something you have forgotten!  What really worries me is what happens to existing raid0 arrays seeing as the mainboard needs drivers.   They are backed up, but I just don't trust a single level backup, and will have to add a further 3Tb of drive space to make a straight copy of the raid0 arrays.  I also like the idea of Windows 8.1, but dread finding out that the drivers don't work!
    The Premiere Pro hardware forum is the perfect place to ask about stuff like that.  Harm, Bill, Erik etc. are super clued up on such things, so I shall run my concerns past them before committing. 
    So I wish you good luck again, and I know you'll make a plan before going ahead with it.

    Alright, so I did about 4/5 hours of googling and searching and trial&error, and FINALLY got passed the issue of a "pending machine restart" at the beginning of the Adobe Installer's work. (All explained http://forums.adobe.com/thread/872455?tstart=0.)

    Once it gets to about 3/4 through the installation, a 'Microsoft Windows' window pops up stating "Adobe Application Manager has stopped working". It searches for a solution, finds not, and gives me no choice but to "Close Program".
    Don't know how to fix this... please help. I've been searching for nearly 3 hours now trying anything I can find or think of doing. If you have had a similar situation or even a suggestion, please let me in on it! Thank you all very much!

    I'm not even sure what it was downloaded to. Should I delete the application
    manager and the download it again with ie to see if it works then? And if
    not, try it again only with Firefox?
    Edit: I tried this and had no luck. Need some serious help...

    and then I tried to find a adobe application manager om Adobes download site, but I got Creative Cloud. And I can't see, what I can use this for, as I have purchased a DVD with Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 and Adobe Premiere Elements 11.
    Anybody knows how to get the Adobe Application Manager alone?
