Adobe X - can't copy in text links

Hello, i've been given a pdf file that has intext links and i want to copy them to ms word. Example: "Recent reviews show that blahblahblahblah". When I move my mouse over the phrase REVIEWS the cursor changes indicating that there's a link to be clicked such that when I click it, a message appears asking me if i want to access the link i pressed. Now, what I want is to have that same intext link in an ms word document. So in my pdf (version x btw), i select the word and right click but the only options are LOOKUP REVIEW - COPY - HIGHLIGHT. Copying doesn't do the job. MS WORD gets the word REVIEW without the link. I end up having to click the word on pdf, wait for the browser to take me to the site, copy the address from the url bar, right click on REVIEW in ms word and choose hyperlink and enter it.
Im sure there's an easier way to do this. The document I have is filled with these intext links. So how do you do it?
I tried converting the document to ms word and it worked. There was a problem with the format of the document but at least the intext links were copied but sometimes I need to change the contents of the document so this isn't a perfect solution.
Is there one?

Adobe Acrobat (not the free Reader). There are different choices for Acrobat. I can speak for Acrobat Pro but not for Acrobat Standard. If I had to guess, I would say the option is available in Standard too.
With Acrobat, you only have to mouse over the link and right-click to get the "copy shortcut" option.

I expect that this is a common problem for people who start to organize a large literature base with many pdfs and must keep track of highlighted text. I was not previously aware of the "Copy selected..."setting, but I need to change it now for all my pdf files to make them compatible with a reference manager that I want to use. New comments are now compatible, but the hundreds(!) of pdfs that I worked through before are not, so copy pasting the highlighted text into comments is not an option.

I want to knwon how can I cancel the text-link in pdf forever.
In a pdf , If there is a text like "http://www.adobe.com" ,even it's not a hyperlink,and there is not any action on the text,but it can be clicked.
I have read the "Document management — Portable document format — Part 1:PDF 1.7", I find nothing about this text-link, Is this a function of adobe reader ,or is it required by the PDF format.
I konw adobe reader could turn off the function of text url Identification, then it can not to be clicked ,but what I want to do is cancel the text-link in pdf ,so that whatever is the "text url identification " turned off or turned on , the text can never be clicked.
so,is anybody knwon ,if there is any way to cancel the text-link, to forbiden the text url to be cliecked forever ?

No. It is a feature of Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat.

My client would like to include a visible, inline Table of Contents in his ePub. Apple Pages v5 deletes the visible Table of Contents. Can I manually create a Table of Contents with clickable links to the appropriate chapters?

Pages 5's greatest claim to fame is its general inability to do anything much, aka "simplification".
So the answer is No! and because this is also Apple, You don't want to do that!
Luckily however, should you still have Pages '09 in your Applications/iWork folder, you can use that instead.

My understanding is text in a SWF isn't really text any more, from the standpoint of it being mouse-selectable.
If it is very limited instances of needing to copy text, you can use a text entry box and enter the text you want them to copy as the 'default text,' but it is far from being an ideal solution.
There is a Text Area Widget included in Cp5.5 but it seems to be broken. When I try to type random text in it to test, the text gets garbled with caps/lowers, and some letters don't show up at all when entered. I typed "The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog" and it displayed as: The uiC bron fox umeD oVer the lazy Dog
There is a webpage widget that can embed a PDF or html page which you can to select the text, it might work for what you need but may take more back end work: http://captivatedev.com/2010/11/05/adobe-captivate-5-web-page-widget/
There maybe other included or availble widgets, I am by far not an expert with them.

How can I copy/paste text from one page to another?

I feel like I am taking crazy pills... is there really no way to copy a text box (or group) from one page to another while creating books in Aperture 3? Lets say I have my entire book laid out and I want to add one paragraph at the end on one page which will push text and photos down a half page or so... in most programs for the last decade or so they added really cool functionality... cut/paste... It seems like the apple developers are aware of it because they are in the context menus but they don't work on text, only photo boxes. Additionally, you can copy/paste text but it erases all formatting.
Seriously, am I missing something? I have trouble believing that they can't include this function.
Anyone else have this issue?

Update... it seems to only happen with text boxes which I create. So when I try an existing theme I can cut/copy/paste just fine, but in that same theme if you edit the layout and add a new text box, I can't copy paste it anywhere... the options are in the menu but nothing happens.
Thoughts? Solutions?

In cr8 with VB, i can able to copy the text dynamically by using rigth click on cr8 screen and click copy. And able to paste the text in notepad.
In same way,Rightckick option is not available in cr11 screen with vb.net.For that i created "Contextmenustrip".Now i can able to rightclick and click the copy button.But the text was not able to paste.

Can't copy Analysis Text in Premiere Pro

I can't copy the Analysis Text in Premiere Pro. I had no problem analyzing the text. When I right-click and select "Copy All", it only copies the word I highlighted. I don't get the Copy All option when I right-click an empty space within the Analysis Text window.
Please help!

Hmm. It's working for me. In the Metadata panel, only one word is highlighted after hitting Copy All, but when I go paste into Word, the full content is pasted.

I can't copy/paste text in itunes?

I use Windows 7, and the latest itunes. I dont have any addons or anything either.
So, for some reason I can't use the copy/paste function in itunes. I listen to foreign music and when I want to copy the names of songs or artists and paste them into the little boxes in itunes, I can't. It just comes up as a plain, empty box with no text. I can't copy from chrome to itunes, or from itunes text to other itunes text boxes (artist, album, search, etc). This started yesterday and I thought uninstalling itunes and reinstalling would work, but it hasn't changed a thing!

You actually have a few choices, simplest is to format the drive as MSDOS (FAT), both Windows & your Mac will be able to read and write. You will be limited to a 4G maximum for individual files however. Formatting as ExFat removes the size limitation but is less compatible with Windows (XP installs may need updating)
You can also install software on your Mac to allow it to read/write to an NTFS drive (which is what yours is now), I recommend Tuxera.

Your text messages are part of the backup of your phone, but to copy them to the computer and be able to read them, you need to use a 3rd party software on the computer. TouchCopy from wide angle software is a good program. I have used it in the past, and it will do much more than just text messages. Depending on the amount of content you have, they have a free version that has limited access.

Adobe's PDF Reader has for selecting text only it's "normal" selection tool. It gets problems in case Unicode characters or non-embedded fonts are used in a document. The "TouchUp Text tool" for the advanced PDF editor is powerful, but it's included only in the Acrobat Professional version.
Another thing could help, did you already try to print the pdf file to CutePDF printer? From the new document you should be able to copy and paste the text.

Can one copy a text layer's content to the clipboard?

I have searched for this but have been unsuccessful in doing so...I want to be able to either;
a: copy the contents of a text layer to the clipboard so that when saving a file I can simply paste and save or...
b: save a file by the contents in a text layer.
My sole purpose is to make it so I don't have to type the name of a document that is created through data sets. What I have seen so far is that through scripting one cannot copy these things to the clipboard. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you and I hope that I have been thorough enough.

You should be able to set up the data set so that the contents of the layer is the data set name. Then you can use File-Export-Data Sets as Files and have it save the files with the data set name.

Why can't i drag text/link to the tab bar and have it open a new tab?

Whenever i drag highlighted text, drag a URL, or drag a link to an image/video to the tab bar nothing happens. Previously FF would open this as a new tab, but i can't seem to find out what is wrong.

Nothing happens when I drag text and drop it on a tab or the new tab button. Do you need to wait for the tab to display and then drop it on the address bar?
Two alternatives might be:
(1) Right-click selected text, then choose Search Google for... to open a search in a new tab
(2) Hold the Alt key while dragging and dropping the selected text onto the search box/search bar to open a search in a new tab
