Adobe X goes into "Flattening" when printing and gets stuck at 6%, why?

When attempting to print some PDF's Acrobat X goes into "Progress" and sticks on 6% "Flattening" and does not print. when clicking on the programme it says "Not Responding". Can anyone help with this please.

The HTML Config errors that you're getting seem to be an issue with your internet browser. Can I have you start by changing your default browser on your Mac and giving the wireless configuration another attempt?
In order to change your Mac's default browser (preferably to Safari), you want to go to:
Choosing a default web browser
Open Safari (/Applications).
From the Safari menu, choose Preferences.
Click the General button.
Choose your desired browser from the "Default web browser" pop-up menu.
Mac OS X: How to change your default email application or web browser
Once your default web browser is changed to Safari, try to run the HTML Config wireless setup again.

My iPad (3? Retina display) keeps zooming in randomly and refuses to zoom out. I don't know if this is a magnify feature gone wrong and I don't know how it does it. The only thing that fixes it is a reboot but I wondered if anyone else knows what this glitch/feature is...?

Printing to Adobe PDF printer and getting the same document, possible??

I need to split a page A4 into 2 pages, it's possible using print, then tile large pages, the problem is that my original document is black and white, but the generated one has a shades of gray visible when zooming to 800% (and the size is much bigger), so my question is:
is it possible to print a document to Adobe PDF printer and getting exactly the same document?? same size, same black and white
I'm using acrobat6

I suspected as much. I was hopeful it was something like a setting that needed to be changed or a reg hack that needed a bit changed from 0 to 1 to make the printing work as expected. I only installed the local printer to see if the RDP session
tunnel was in fact causing the print size to balloon so I will continue to instruct users to use that instead of the local redirected printer. I am disappointed but not surprised.

Additionally I have tested the functionality of setting the GPO settings for Easy Print to use the redirected printer's drivers instead of the ones used by easy print, by setting “Computer
Configuration -> Administrative templates -Windows Components -> Remote Desktop Services > Remote Desktop Session Host -> Printer Redirection”.
to “Disabled” but
with no luck. In fact the printer received the proper Adobe PDF driver, but the job went out into print spool hell and was lost to the ether. I have concluded that this approach will not bear any fruit.

Hiding buttons when printing and adjusting field to compensate

Hi,
I had a request for a form in which the Add a Row button and Delete Row button are hidden when printed to make it look a little nicer. I was able to hide the buttons when printing, but the table that the delete is part of still looks odd and there is a larger space than I'd like to have between the tables once the add a row doesn't show. Is there are a way to make things look nicer? I've attached the demo of the form I'm working on a sample of what it looks like right now when I print.
I did see a post about Hiding text field borders when printing and it sounded like I might need to do something similar, but I'm not quite sure what.

The easiest way to deal with the buttons down the side is to set the borders of those cells to none, then you don't have to worry about it - you will end up with a little extra space down the right side but the table will look finished when the buttons hide. This is how I do it, because the button takes the whole space of the cell I just don't put a border on it. Getting into hiding columns and shifting table size to fill the space is getting pretty tricky.
To get the tables closer together when you print and hide the add row button, put the following script in the prePrint event of the button:
this.presence = "hidden";
And this script in the postPrint event:
this.presence = "visible";
Because the button is part of the flowed subform the table is in when you set its presence to hidden the subform will close the gap.

Try to start Firefox in [[Safe mode|Safe mode]]. This mode disables all extensions, user customizations, hardware acceleration, etc. temporarily for diagnostic and troubleshooting. If Firefox works find in Safe Mode, then this is likely an add-on issue. Restart Firefox in normal mode, then type "About:addons" (without the quotes) in the address bar. Disable your extensions one by one, restarting Firefox between each one, until you find the trouble maker. Once you do, you can disable that add-on and report the issue to that add-on's developer.
A few other basic trouble shooting things you can try is this:
Run all Windows Updates, install all needed service packs, etc.
Update your graphics driver (Firefox uses your graphics card for some rendering, and an out of date graphics card driver can cause problems. [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-upgrade-my-graphics-drivers https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-upgrade-my-graphics-drivers].

Download and Install MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, run a full Scan. [http://www.malwarebytes.org/ http://www.malwarebytes.org/]. This helps check that there are no viruses on your computer causing issues. you can uninstall this program after you clean off any infections.

Not all the sound docks accept both analogue and optical on the auxillary input - I don't think the portable ones does but may be wrong - check the user manual.
As I said earlier all the mini optical (min Toslink) adapter does it make the optical connector fit a smaller socket, it does not convert digital audio to analogue for an analogue only auxillary input.

again image capture is not involved with deleting photos from iPhoto in any way ever
the paid version of iPhoto Library Manager is very good for finding duplicates as is Duplicate Annihilator

Thanks for the question. After reviewing your post, it sounds like the installer file isn't working. Have you tried deleting the installer and redownloading the installer? I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help you isolate or resolve the issue.

You really don't need to do "secure Empty Trash." Just empty the Trash. If you don't have permission to access some items that means you shouldn't be trying to delete them or you are trying to delete a file you don't own.
If your external drive is used only on your Mac, then it should not be formatted ExFAT. It should be prepared as follows:
Drive Partition and Format
1. Open Disk Utility in your Utilities folder.
2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Apply button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Select the volume you just created (this is the sub-entry under the drive entry) from the left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
5. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Security button, check the button for Zero Data and click on OK to return to the Erase window.
6. Click on the Erase button. The format process can take up to several hours depending upon the drive size.
Try restarting the computer. Then again try to Empty the Trash. Do you still get the error? What are you trying to delete?
