Adobe X multiple printing

Hi,
I am running window 7 with adobe x. I am trying to print multiple pdfs at the one time. At the moment I am copying all the pdfs from an email to my desktop. Highlighting all pdfs and right click, print. When I do so, only the first page appears to print a zoom in version, all other pdfs print ok on A4 size. Why does only the first page do this, and how can i fix it?

Hi,
Could you please provide following infromation:
1. What version of Acrobat X are you on (Go to Acrobat->About Adobe Acrobat and check the version number)
2. Whether you are facing this issue with particular file or set of file. If yes, what is the default magnification level(See pic below for location):

  • How do I stop the Adobe Popup when printing?

I am constantly creating PDF files using Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0. I create from multiple programs: Office Word, Excel, Paint, Etc. as well as AutoCADD.  I create them using Adobe as a printer, thus printing to PDF. Once the PDF has been created from the other program via printing to Adobe, the new PDF file pops up for viewing. I am ok with this; however I then click onto another program and after a few second the PDF pops up again. Even if I close it a few seconds later it pops up again. When I am printing multiple sheets out of a program I am jumping back and forth and the popup feature slows me up big-time or causes me to mess up the files I am working with.
How do I stop the Adobe Popup?

That fixed the problem of the printing taking over the screen multiple times. I would like to have a solution where the finished file shows "PDF results" once, letting me know that the file has been created successfully, then let me get back to another program. Maybe this can be an upgrade with the next version.

  • Error message in Adobe Pdf in printer device panel when trying to create a pdf document.  I have CS3

Error message in Adobe Pdf in printer device panel when trying to create a pdf document.  I have CS3 Web Premium with Acrobat Professional 8.  I use it fine on my old computer with Windows XP.  I recently got a new laptop with Windows 7.  I installed all my Adobe programs, and I think they are working.  When I look at Adobe PDF in the device section of the Control Panel it looks okay.  But when I try to print a Word, Photoshop, or HTML page in PDF, nothing happens.  I have tried printing both as File>print and using the PDF tab on the top menu bar.  I look at the device in the control panel and it has the yellow error warning symbol and suggests trying to troubleshoot.  I look at the document list and it says status "error".  When I try troubleshooting Windows suggests doing some Home Sharing and also suggests canceling the document I'm trying to print.  I tried re-installing just Acrobat 8 from CS3 (and have to use Photoshop CS4 disk for shared documents I guess).  I ran into a can't locate adobepdf_dll file, so did a web search on this issue and found a suggestion that I find and use the adobepdf_dll_64 file and may have to (I did have to) remove the "_64" for it to work.  I think I successfully reinstalled using that dll file- no errors came up anyway.  But still when I try printing/converting a photoshop, webpage, or word document into pdf, the pdf device in control panel still gives the error status on the document and gives the same troubleshooting advice.  Help?

I just compared the properties between the two computers.  On the old computer it has the port as "My Documents/*.pdf".  On my new computer it lists the port as "LPT1".  I tried changing the port to "Print as File", but when I try printing a photoshop picture as pdf, I get a "Access Denied".  I then tried to create a new port on the device control panel.  I tried to create a local port "My Documents/*.pdf" port but was denied.  I ten tried to create a new port type and control panel asked for an INF file.  I wonder if this is where my problem lies.  Thoughts?

  • How do I create multiple prints in one order?

I am attempting to order multiple prints but as I order one picture the system immediately send (uploads) the order. I wish to include multiple pictures in one order.
    What is the process?

You might want to consider starting a new discussion. Since this one is marked solved, less people are likely to look at it. You can link to this one.
Have you tried putting them in a folder and then try to upload the folder?

In CC214 PS Why has adobe removed the "print Size Button"  And why have they made the Brush preview window so small you can't see the effects to accurately adjust them?
These two things need to be remedied in their upgrades because It's become such a bother I've had to revert to older versions of PS.

Yea, and it's a pain to get to.  What was the rational for removing the print size button?   With the magnifying glass tool selected in older versions of Photoshop you would get a button that says "print size" right next to Actual pixels, Fit Screen, Fill Screen. Now I have to go out of my way and dig for it if I want to see the print size.  Of all the buttons you could have taken away, why not fill screen?  I never use that.
Besides the point I just downloaded the Oct Upgrade for PS and surprise! Nothing has changed and these are two big black eyes on newer versions of Photoshop.   The Brush preview window is  unchanged in CC but in CC2014 it's basically worthless.  If you apply a texture to a brush you can't properly see the scale of the texture, the spacing, scatter, etc...

We are trying to implement a process so that any document that needs to be printed through our Java application will be printed as PDF using Adobe Reader. Current Situation: The above command line parameter when executed is working as expected in a User's Workspace. When executed in a command line on the Application Server is working as expected. But, the same is not working while executing it from Deployed environment.Software being used: 1. Adobe 11.0 enterprise version. 2. Webshpere Application Server 8.5.5.2. Please let us know if there is a way to enable trace logs in Adobe Reader to further diagnose this issue.

  • How do I install adobe as a printer?

I need to print a .pdf from word. I bought the Adobe pack, why is it not showing as a printer choice?

    Hi amydipaolo,
The Adobe CreatePDF Desktop printer is available for Windows only. If you're on Windows, you should see al ink to download and install the printer on the CreatePDF page when you're logged in to https://cloud.acrobat.com.  I know there are plans to retire that printer, but just checked and the download is still available. Click "Download CreatePDF Desktop Tool" and then follow these instructions to set it up: Install and configure Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer
If you're on Mac OS, this option is available to you. But, you could download a free 30-day trial of Acrobat and could then "print" to PDF from Word.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
    Best,
    Sara

  • Where do my Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer Files Go?

I've spent hours looking through the Adobe website for a simple answer to a simple question.
One reader replied that all you have to do is log on to your account and you will find the document right there.  Good guess, but sorry.  Not so.  Just to test his theory I printed 500,000 pages.  I watched the Windows 7 print window to make sure all pages got spooled and printed.  They did, but they cannot be found.
My congratulations to Adobe for the company with best no customer support support.  Once I log on there is no where to enter a simple question.  You can however enter something to start a discussion.  Maybe, just maybe someone might happen along and make a correct guess.  Who knows?
And then you find a page like this one:
Whoops.  Just like Adobe.  Set up a window to enter an Image.  Select the image, meet the requirements.  Select the image.  An hour later no image, no error message, but the window is still up and active.
When you open the Printer window, and it shows the files printing to Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer, why do some files have the status of "error?"  What does "error" mean?  Where can I find what "error" is there and how to fix it?  Or am I just some dumb ******* who gives up my money for nothing in return.
Adobe is as adobe has always been.  Impossible to navigate.  Slow, slow, slow.  And impossible to get any customer service.  And I am the dumbhead that pays for it.

This document should help explain a bit What is the Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer and how do I install it? The files get stored back in your online account.
Also, make sure you have this information completed as well.

  • Unable to use Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer

I want to convert a web page (html) to a PDF document. When I tried to do this using my Adobe PDF Pack, I received a message indicating that I would have to do it using the Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer. So, I downloaded and installed the Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer as directed.   I went to the web page and printed the document to the Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer, as directed in the instructions.  I received the following error message:  Could not open the file. Access is denied.
    What do I do now?

I get exactly the same result.  It doesn't work.  Please note that I am
trying to SAVE the web page as a PDF file.  That is, I am trying to convert
a web page (html) to a PDF document.   I am not trying to print it.  I want
a copy of the PDF version of the web page to save on my computer.
In any event, printing it does not work.   I get the same error message I
indicated in my first missive.  And, yes, my printer is working just fine.
Please:  tell me how to use the
    <http://forums.adobe.com/message/5836668#5836668> Adobe CreatePDF Desktop
Printer to convert a web page to a PDF document.  When I try to do that,
using my Adobe PDF pack, I get this message:
"Adirondack-Wildfl ... ng-Shrub-List.html" is in a format not supported for
    conversion to PDF.
You can save the file to one of the supported formats or use the PDF printer
for Windows to convert the file. For a list of supported file formats
    <https://createpdf.acrobat.com/redir/cpdf_cpdf_supported> click here"
When I clicked on the link, I received these instructions:
    e_to_PDF>
    http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat-com/kb/using-pdfpack.html#main_Convert_a_file
toPDF   This page included the following:
"To convert a file type not listed above, use
    <http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat-com/kb/using-pdfpack.html#main_adobePDF_desk
top_printer> Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer. " So, I clicked on that link
and downloaded the Adobe CreatePDF Printer.  I followed these instructions:
    "Print To PDF Setup
The Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer lets you convert any file (in a
printable format) to PDF by printing it from an application on your desktop.
The resulting file is saved automatically to your Adobe PDF Pack account,
and you receive an email when conversion is complete. The desktop printer
functionality is available for Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. You
don't need any special hardware to print to Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer.
To print to the Adobe CreatePDF printer, first install and configure the
Adobe CreatePDF Desktop printer. Then, open a file in its native application
and choose the print function. Select the Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer
from the printer list, choose the appropriate print settings, and then print
the file. Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer converts the file to PDF, and then
stores the PDF file in your Acrobat.com account."
So, the instructions say that the Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer will
convert a file to PDF and store it in my Acrobat.com account.  It doesn't do
that.  I tried just printing it (after selecting Adobe CreatePDF Desktop
Printer).  I also tried printing to file.  In both cases, I get an error
message, and there is no file stored in my Acrobat.com account.
    It doesn't work.
    Please fix!

  • I just installed Adobe CreatePDF desktop printer, when I try to use from Word or Excel, it does not work.  The Adobe print queue says "error" in the status screen.  I have uninstalled and re-installed.  Any ideas of what to do next?

I just installed Adobe CreatePDF desktop printer on a Windows 7 home PC.  When I try to use from Word or EWxcel, it does not print.  The Adobe print device queue reports an "error" in the status column.

Adobe retired this Feb 17, 2014.
This app sent content to and got content from the web based services of "CreatPDF" and "PDF Pack".
These are subscription services out in "the cloud". When the app was live you had to be online and signed into your account.  The user forum for CreatePDF has a DOC that speaks to the app removal.
    Be well...

  • My Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer is not working

When I print a file to this printer, it keeps showing up in the printer status with an error message.  I've already run the Microsoft hotfix that is linked to this problem.  Alternatively, how else can I print one tab from an excel worksheet?  When I go online to my adobe pack subscription, I can only convert the entire document and don't have the capability to edit the document once it's converted (ie to remove the pages I don't want).  Please help!!

    Hi,
Are you using Windows 7 SP1 (64 bit)? If so, please uninstall Adobe CreatePDF Desktop printer from Control Panel then restart Windows and re-install CreatePDF Desktop printer.
If that does not work then please verify the Adobe PS printer driver at C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\x64\3 folder for PSCRIPT files( See below screenshot)

    Buenos días.
Instale y ejecute Adobe CrearePDF Desktop Printer y no funciona.
Envio documento a "imprimir" y me envia un mensaje de error por E-mail diciendo no ha podido convertir el archivo.
Los documentos son .doc por lo que no encuentro el problema.

The CreatePDF Desktop Printer has been retired. Please see https://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-5131 for more information.

  • Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer

I have a subscription to Adobe CreatePDF.  I've downloaded the Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer and can see it in my list of printers.  However, when I try to print a doc using the Desktop Printer, the doc doesn't print and  I get 'error' under status.  I've tried reinstalling the Desktop Printer but that hasn't helped.  Can you advise?

I had this same problem.  I'm running Windows 7, Service Pack 1.  That was the problem.  After countless times installing and uninstalling the Desktop Printer, with no success fixing the problem, I finally came across a notice from Adobe that Windows 7, Servicce Pack 1 is to blame.  The only fix is to go to Microsoft and download a hotfix for the issue.  Microsoft will email you a link to the hotfix.  The hotfix is downloaded as a zip file. I recommmend extracting it to your desktop and then double clicking the extracted file.  (The default extraction process wanted to dump it somewhere I couldn't ever find on my system.  That's why I recommend extracting to your desktop.)
After a system restart, the Desktop Printer should work just fine.  It did for me.
This is the link Microsoft emailed to me:
    http://hotfixv4.microsoft.com/Windows%207/Windows%20Server2008%20R2%20SP1/sp2/Fix381852/76 00/free/437635_intl_x64_zip.exe
You can also try searching for KB Article Number: 2616471
Even though, this is a Microsoft issue, I'm very angry that Adobe doesn't have the courtesy to save us all a bunch of headache by including a disclaimer and/or instructions for the hotfix next to the install Desktop Printer instructions.  I mean, isn't the majority of Adobe's customers running Windows 7, Service Pack 1?  What a freaking waste of my time it was to go through this hassle.

  • How to install Adobe as a printer in control panel?

I just changed computers. On my old computer, I was able to select Adobe in the printer list to save a document or excel file as a PDF file. However, on my new computer, I am not able to figure out how to get Adobe installed in the printer list. I'm running Windows XP Pro and cleanly installed Adobe Reader 9.0. I have searched the support and forums on this site but am unable to find my answer.
Any guidance will be most appreciated.
    Teresa

    >I am not able to figure out how to get Adobe installed in the printer list
Easy. Install Adobe Acrobat. Reader doesn't come with the PDF printer.
