Adobe XI Acrobat issues, thought is best to uninstall then reinstall, Can not seem to do this with the cloud. How can I reinstall?

I have a full subscription for creative cloud, Could not get XI to install, thought it was a conflict with 9 that was on my machine. Un-installed them both on accident. Now the Cloud says I have it, but in truth I do not. How can i re-install it. Use it a lot in the proofing stages of projects.

    Make sure you are dealing with the correct product for the serial number.  If the serial number is for a full creative suite then you need to get the suite, not the individual application, and vice versa.
    Unrelated to that, in case it helps, here is a link to another site.  You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
    Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

    Adobe Illustrator Draw will not export to desktop Illustrator with the photo layer turned on. This severely strains my workflow and makes it incredibly hard to add the image after it is exported to the desktop Illustrator. Is this being fixed??

    This is a new bug in our latest release, and we apologize for not catching it before it went out. We are putting together a patch to address the issue. The only workaround at this point is to delete the photo and then send to Illustrator again.

    I have Adobe Creative Cloud and I am unable to uninstall then reinstall Acrobat Pro. When I try, the uninstall seems to last one second, then I get the checked circle saying that the app is up to date. When I try to launch the app, I get Error code 1 and I am told to reinstall the app! Help please! Thanks.

    Follow the steps listed at  Transfer an Adobe product license
    Lightroom has no activation check so you don't need to do anything to your computer. Your old copy of Photoshop must be deactivated / uninstalled if you haven't already done so.

    Unfortunately, I don't fully understand your question, but gather it is something to do with a backup in iCloud. The part that I don't understand is the iPhone 3G is not capable of running iCloud. Am I missing something here.

    I recently upgraded to Microsoft 365 Home and use Outlook 2013. The Acrobat PDFMaker Addin worked fine in Office 2010. Now, I get an error message: Not loaded. A runtime error occurred during the loading of the COM Add-in.
    I use Adobe Acrobat X Professional.
    I have restarted Outlook, restarted my computer, and nothing changes.
    Does anyone have a solution?

    I do not think that AA X is compatible with the newest versions of OFFICE and such. Your only choice is to print to the Adobe PDF printer or use the MS plugins to create PDFs.

Probably need to sync somehow but when I checked on Sync it warned me it would wipe out my iPod contents. Don 't know why Apple makes something that used to be simple so difficult.     If you resintall iTunes, it should fix the issue. The following document will go over how to remove iTunes fully and then reinstall. Depending on what version of Windows you're running you'll either follow the directions here:

    Sorry you are having problems. First of all try Fifrefox's safemode.

    Please use the Acrobat Cleaner tool ( Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs ) to remove it completely from the machine.
    Download the setup from : Download Acrobat products | 9, 8
    and install and check.

  • Issue with The Cloud (UK)

    Hoping someone might have come across this....
    I tried to access the cloud today, and it asked for my Phone number again. Which is a bit strange since I've already previously done this.
    I entered my phone number as it requested but it gave an error saying my phone could not be authorised and to contact O2.
    I called O2 and explained the problem and basically, their answer is to keep trying. Has anyone had this problem before and got a fix, its very annoying as I use the cloud a lot and was a significant part of my decision making when I first got the iPhone. I thought O2 would have at least tried to sort it out.
    Anyway if anyone has any tips please let me know. Oh I tried a couple of cloud hotspots with the same issue.

    My understanding was that when first accessing a The Cloud hotspot, I'd be asked for my number to register, and after that it would be automatic. I haven't found this in the past, but have had to enter my number each time, though I've never been denied access once I did this. I took it as a minor irritation, but since I could connect, I didn't bother contacting 02 about it. It seems your problem is more serious, and may not be related to mine. Have you tried ringing The Cloud to see what they have to say about it?

    The simplest way is to copy the CD to a memory stick (will need to use another computer -- like at your local library). You can also download the trial version and then provide you serial number during the install.
