Adobe XI Closes Within 5 Seconds

I opend it from a file, I opened it on its own, and I opened it from the run box.
I located the Eula file and accepted the agreement, that did not work.
I saw that I should disable protected mode, but it closes before I can get to the box.
I get to preferences then I cannot click on security (advanced)
What do I do?
It worked fine yesterday, now it's broken.

Summary
My reader was working great. Then one day get a notice it's been updated. I haven't been able to open it since. I'm not the only one. I've seen many with this problem. I'm computer savvy and I have tried every fix out there, plus the ones they have sent me that do not work. I can't use it anymore. I have to switch to a new pdf reader.

    I had this same problem yesterday happen all of a sudden. My iphone is less than a month old and email has worked fine. I had two mail accounts on my phone, one mobileme & one gmail for work. The phone would seamlessly give me my email for both accounts, I thought it was pretty sweet. Then yesterday, I went to open my email and it would open for 3 seconds and close. If I switched from gmail to mobileme, it was sometimes staying open longer, but would still close. I called tech support and they had me reset the phone twice and finally restore the phone from backup. That didn't work either. Unfortunately, the only thing that finally worked was to delete the Gmail account from my phone. Now mail is working just fine. I plan to go to the Genius bar so I can put my Gmail account back on my phone.

    I'm running Win 8, 64 Bit.  When I try to open pdf doc in Adobe Reader XI 11.0.03, IE10, it closes after 2 seconds.  I have uninstalled several times and reinstalled but no fix.  Any solutions?

    yes, still problem.
    The only one possible solution seems to be install another pdf viewer :-(

    It should (should) stay where you close it from, especially if you have it maximized on that monitor. I can't guarantee that because I'm having the same problem with Firefox this morning. I always open it on my secondary montior, and today it will only open on the primary.

    What is the error message you receive?
    There is a manual way to do updates - All Adobe updates start here and select product, read to see if you need to install updates in number order, or if the updates are cumulative for the individual product http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/

  • Facebook opens and then closes in one second

    When I open Facebook, I see the start screen, it is "loading" and then closes the app within 2 seconds.

    One thing to do is deleting the Facebook App from your iTunes account (don'k keep the file, move it to trash) and from your your iPad too, then Install it again from the iTune Store and sync it to your iPad. It will configure your app as a new app and all libraries would be newly installed.
    I hope it might solve the issue.

Every time that I tried to open it, in diagnostic and use create some files, in special one named LatestCrash-WifiSurvey.plist, this one generate an incident identifier E73B0164-CDFA-4E9E-839E-A0C021BD17A2, but this incident identifier change every time that I tried to open, the last incident identifier is: DE600EB3-AB57-4C33-8DE8-71F6788A7441.
    After of it, I checked that the app had a new version available for downloading, I took a backup of my ipad and then upgrade this app, but is the same problem, all I want is to save the projects I had in this app, I´m afraid that if I delete this app and re-install it, probably I loss my projects.
    Thanks for your help indicating how I can save my projects and see them for example in an iphone for assurance that data is not lost.
    Something that called my attention is part of the log that shows a big CPU processing, but the strange thing is I killed all applications.

    You can't. Any version before Creative Cloud does not support high-DPI displays and that is just that. If you cannot adjust the system's screen resolution and so on, then there is nothing you can do.

    Do you have a lot of apps? Did you use a lot of apps recently? If so, many of them may still be resident in memory even if you aren't currently using them. Double-tap the home key and you should see the app tray with a list of most recently used programs. Press and hold the icons in the tray and remove the ones you don't use often to remove them from memory. Powering off and then back on might also help.
    My wife's iPod does that sometimes, and it's usually because we run out of memory due to apps remaining in memory even when not used. The suggestion above is how we normally fix the problems.

    It could be that the laser has dust on it; a laser cleaning disk is available at stores which specialize in audio and video- BestBuy, or OfficeDepot would be a place to start. Run a cleaning session to see how that plays out. It could be the optical drive itself. The best approach is first to try steps that do not involve transporting your iMac as you indicate.

    Well, today when I went to place another order, it just gets cancelled within 10 seconds of the order, it says we could not verify your information. I am not sure whats going on, I have checked everything on my end all looks fine.
    Is there any glitch in system?

    That’s definitely strange that you would have some orders completed but then have the next few cancelled.  I’d be happy to see if I can help out.
    In looking over the cancelled orders, it appears that they were cancelled because we were unable to verify your information.  Generally that means that some part of your information is not matching up to what has been correct in the past.  This can be anything from a misspelling in your information to your billing address on your BestBuy.com account, not matching up with the billing address on your payment card.  I would recommend looking over this information to make sure that this is the same as your successful orders.
