Adobe XI, freezes and gives an error about Adobe 10 not working.
I have adobe XI. I am trying to read PDFs off an exe but it keeps saying "flash player 10.0 r2 has stopped working" and it stops responding. I cannot close the window unless I do a reboot. This exe runs fine from my husband's PC and his is the same version of reader as mine. I already tried the unchecking of the protected mode (although his is still checked) but no luck. I even uninstalled, tried 9.5, uninstalled that and retried XI...still no luck. Sometimes it will open one PDF but then it freezes and won't respond again. Any advice?
No videos, just PDFs with text :/
I also don't have flash player 10, I have flash player 14.
It's why I don't understand the weird error.

Itunes freezes and gives "unknown error -1202"
How do I solve this? When I sign out of one account to get into another, iTines freezes and must be shut down. Also when I try to access anything in my account or even "redeem" gift cards, then it gives the unknown error -1202.
Well get this....
I have been emailing Apple about the problem, and "Vaibhav" has been no help what so ever, He asked me today to send him a photo of the itunes gift card (code and all) which I think is a little suspect..
I have actually fixed the issue of the gift card myself, I signed into itunes on my parents computer and entered the code, and its now showing in my account.
The problem now (this feels like its never going to end) is that when i have tried to purchase an album (+ by Ed Sheeran fyi) itunes asks me to accept an updated terms of service, i tick the box and click accept, and the bloody 1202 message pops up again:
"We could not complete your iTunes request. An unknown error occured (-1202). There was an error with the iTunes store, please try again later"
I'm getting seriously wound up now with this problem, I've reinstalled itunes twice since christmas, and honestly i feel like apple are just mugging me off!
I've replied to apple with pretty much the post i've just written, now i'll await their reply......... -
I am trying to work with Application settings. I would just like to put together a very simple example of using these, but I can't get the most basic example to work. Virtually every tag regarding the new Settings produces an Error "Could not find the schema information for the element "applicationSettings". or the element "Settings" etc. etc. I am not using IIS, this is not a Web Project, and I am not working with User Settings. Just simple read-only Application Settings. I've read every MSDN page regarding this subject, I don't see that I am missing a reference - HELP !!!
REPRODUCING THE PROBLEM:
Step 1. Create a new C# solution and Windows Forms project.
Step 2. Add a reference to System.configuration
Step 3. Right click the project, choose Properties, then Settings.
Step 4. Using the Settings Designer, create ONE setting called "MySetting" as a String with the value "MyValue".
RESULT: Observe the Errors like these, complaining about all of the Settings tags and elements.
Message 1 Could not find schema information for the element 'applicationSettings'.
Message 2 Could not find schema information for the element 'LoadOriginalLists.Properties.Settings'.
Message 3 Could not find schema information for the element 'setting'.

</configuration>Ummmm... okay so these are Messages that are in the Error List. Whether or not they are actually Errors is debatable. They are in the Error List, so they are errors.
The application runs, so my question is slightly changed to the following.
I would like to use Application Settings. However, having settings in my app.config pollutes my Error List with a bunch of meaningless messages like "Could not find the schema information for...". These messages then hide real errors.
Am I missing some setting or is there something I can do to make Visual Studio not show me these messages? -
Bridge freezes and gives cache error
Recently, I have been having an issue with Bridge CS6. Every time I start Bridge, I get a message that says "Bridge encountered a problem and is unable to read the cache. Please try purging the central cache in Cache Preferences to correct the situation".
After following all these instructions, still no change. I re-installed the entire application and still no results.
I am using OS 10.9.4
Any ideas....Try this, it worked for me.
Hold option and command key together while opening Bridge. Reset settings window appears. click "Purge Entire Thumbnail Cache". See if this works. (OS 10.7.5) -

Have read all your articles about settings up the plugins but neither will work with Firefox.
IE11 had no problem.
Why do you make your software so heard to work with and so hard to get support?Do I understand this correctly. If you use the named plugins sites give a 404 error but with the plugins the sites do not ?

Adobe Flash 14 and Silverlight Update install, but do not work
I can not watch videos on you tube because it says I need to update the adbe flash on my brand new iMac, same thing with silverlight when I try to watch a show on Netflix. I have downloaded and installed the new versions, but when I try to watch anything it says I need to update still. Whats going on?
Make sure that your Safari plugins are activated. Safari menu - Preferences - Security. It's just next to the checkbox which activates Java.

When printing, on Pages 09, once I have confirmed the printing settings, the Proccessing Page Hangs, and then Pages begins to freeze, and then says Error While Printing. ScreenShots are below.

Do you have the same problem with printing from other apps, such as TextEdit? Have you looked at your printer's control panel to see if an error condition is displayed there, and if so, what is it?

Very Important, how much Free Space is on your Hard Drive first of all? Click on the Macintosh HD on the Desktop, then do a Get Info on it.
Could be many things, we should start with this...

2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.

How long does file conversion take to complete?
Well, I've tried saving my ditamap as a pdf and as a composite framemaker doc. So far, neither conversion has worked because it's taken over 2 hours and never completed the process. Any ideas? Does the ditamap work better in FM if it's created in FM?
