After installing Adobe XI pro trial version successfully, when trying to open pdf message pops up
saying trial period has expired.

Nothing you can do:
Adobe trial software expired early

    There is this a bit about using the Terminal to execute the uninstaller in the ETK:  Macintosh Deployments — Enterprise Administration Guide
    You would need to modify the command line documented for Acrobat X mentioned in the documentation to the RemoverTool to look something like below because the path changed in Acrobat XI:
    $ sudo "/Applications/Adobe\ Acrobat\ XI\ Pro/Adobe\ Acrobat\ Pro.app/Contents/Support/Acrobat\ Uninstaller.app/Contents/MacOS/RemoverTool"
    BTW  this will only work if you have Administrative privileges on the Mac.

  • Adobe X Pro - Trial

    Hello
    I am trying to download the trial version of Adobe X Pro but when I get to running the set up, I get the following error message:
    "This application cannot be installed on this operating system.  Setup will now terminate.  Please refer to the minimum system requirements at http://www.adobe.com/go/acrobat system reqs."
    I have checked my computer and it meets all the minimum requirements,
    Can anyone give me any pointers as to what might be going wrong here?

  • Having a problem downloading Adobe Premiere Pro trial.

    After clicking on "download now" on the trial page of Adobe Premiere pro I get the Adobe Download Assistant dmg (Which I've downloaded 4 times.) But when I open it it gives me the error message above. Help! I have an imac.

    I downloaded the trial version of Adobe Premium Pro but there is no link to the product itself. It was downloading in creative cloud and after downloading it appeared as:

    when i click view tutorials it takes me to some tutorial page and i dont have the software. how can i use the software. In that same tutorial page again there was a button on top that said"Download trial". i clicked it and it again came to creative cloud. I used 3 hours to download this stuff. Where's my free trial???????

  • I downloaded Adobe X Pro trial last night, loaded it, couldn't get past license agreement.

    I downloaded Adobe X Pro trail last night after 7:00 p.m.Pacific Time   I loaded it, but once I clicked Accept on the license agreement the window closed, reopened to the license agreement, clicked accept, the window closed..... Repeat a few times and you get the idea.  Tried again this morning with same result.  I downloaded the package about two hours ago and my disk light is still flashing.  Is it still downloading?  If so, why did it load and install?  Why did it bring up the license agreement?  I am a self employed webmaster and this is preventing me from doing my work.  I don't work, I don't get paid.  Any advice to get this (swear word here) installed and working would be appreciated.

  • Cursor issues in Word and Outlook after Adobe 9 pro trial download - any advice  - really annoying!

    Hi, have downloaded Adobe Professional 9 as a trial and am looking to buy it (work with a charity). Did use Foxit phantom Pro and had no issues much considering its a cheap copy, but had to change to adobe so it was compatible with a colleagues system.
    So heres what happens, i can now only navigate in a word document using the cursor arrows on my PC, can not click with a mouse in a document to change location or use the scroll on the RHS of the screen, can only scroll down with the cursor keys. Same issue in Outlook documents.
    Getting very annoying!
    can also only highlight text for copy and paste using arrows and shift - not mouse click hold. have to then cut and paste using edit not RH mouse click.
    I run windows vista home and office version 2003,
    help or i'll have to go back to foxit!

    I had a trial of Adobe a year ago, maybe more. It did the same thing then i remember. Then i bought the Foxit subscription and completely got rid of adobe and the cursor issue went away. I am 100% sure it was the Adobe download that did it.

    Went on Adobe Website and downloaded the 30 day free trial of Adobe Pro and it will not activate.  In addition my Adobe Reader will not work now because it said I have to activate the Adobe Pro first.
    Please advise.         

    First, you should not have both installed. It is not recommended nor supported.
    Second, hat do you mean by "activate"? You would "activate" Adobe Acrobat after you purchase it and have a serial number.
    At any rate, if the trial isn't working, whether it wants you to activate it or if the trial is up (yes, that can happen immediatly under some circumstances), you might as well uninstall it. The only way to get it working again is a complete format of your hard drive.
    If you uninstall it, you may have to do the same with Reader then reinstall it to get it working again.
