Adobe Reader Ver.11.0.08がインストールされたPCで.ブラウザ(IE11)からPDFを開くとAdobe Readerのプロセスが残る現象が発生している.これを回避する手段はありますでしょうか?

Adobe Reader Ver.11.0.08がインストールされたPCで、ブラウザ(IE11)からPDFを開くとAdobe Readerのプロセスが残る現象が発生している。
これを回避する手段はありますでしょうか？
ちなみに、Adobe Reader単体で起動しても同じような現象になってします。
Adobe Reader Ver.9の際にはならなかったのだが、
この現象はどのバージョンから発生しだしたのかも知りたい。

IE11はAdobe Reader XIにまだ正式対応していないみたいですね。

Adobe ReaderはX以前とX以降で大きく機能が変わっているので
X以降から発生している現象のように思います。
もうお試し頂いているかもしれませんが、Adobe Reader XI（11.0.09）が
リリースされているので、アップデートも試してみてはいかがでしょうか。

    Since restoring Preview as my default pdf browser (after deleting the Adobe plug in) I get a different menu when I hover over the bottom of the screen either in Safari or in the Reader - with fewer option - like I can't save/dowload automatically from that hover bar anymore, and the pdf's don't automatically open in preview after downloading any more.  ANy ideas how to restore these features?

    you could try reïnstalling Adobe Reader (and its plug-in), to see if that restores your missing features. If it does, then perhaps a less destructive method could be determined to let Preview be your default PDF viewer without having to delete the Adobe plug-in.

  • Adobe reader wont let me highlight, and opens pdf in read only mode, why?

    I need help with highlighting pdf, and tke it out of read only mode . When i go to the text edit thing it say "To modefy this document save a copy on device" Its already on my device, so why does it say that? I was able to highlight this pdf before.     What is your operating system?  Reader version?  Are these PDFs writable or read-only on your device?

  • I have Adobe X1 ver 11.0.7 installed on my iMac, when I download a .pdf and try to print it the printer preview is blank, only way is to take screen shots, is this me or an Adobe issue?

    On my iMac OS-X 10.9.3 I am able to view a downloaded .pdf in my browser , if however I want to print out the .pdf via the File tab and Print in Safari, the message comes up that Adobe either does not support this format, or it s corrupted as an attachment to an email.  I have tried saving it  to my desktop by exporting it as a .pdf, or saving it to the desktop.  In both cases when I try to open it, I get the same message.
    Found that the only way I can save the data is to take a screen shot to my desktop and then I can print it out, but cripes what a pain!
    Any suggestions would be welcome, is this me or an Adobe issue?

    If you are printing to physical printer from Safari : Use Reader print button from Reader toolbar
    If you want to save a PDF from Safari to your local : Use Reader Save button from the Reader toolbar.
    PS: if you have PDF in read mode the  hover the mouse at the bottom of the page and the floating Reader toolbar will appear.
    Please let me know if this solves your issue.

  • ImportData() in a Dynamic PDF in Reader

    Hello. I am attempting to create a PDF that reads XML that was generated by a different PDF. One of my requirements is that the PDFs must work in Reader.
    I started off using a Static PDF and the xfa.host.importData() method. This works in Reader, except for when there is more than one instance of an XML element in the imported file. So then I saved the PDF as a Dynamic PDF, and now the call to importData() no longer works in Reader.
    Are there restrictions on Dynamic PDFs in Reader?

    This don't seems to be a problem of the form.
    It's more likely that Readers save operation fails because the file is used by another process (Exploerers preview pane for example) or there are no rights to save into the current directory.

  • Adobe Reader ver 11.0.06 Keeps Uninstalling itself.

    The issue is with a Windows 7 pc after installing Adobe Reader ver 11.0.06 works for a few days. Then during the day I click on a pdf icon nothing happens. Go to control pane - programs - adobe reader is gone. The system uninstalling adobe reader all by itself. No virus found using Malwarebytes.I reinstall adobe reader.     I use a screening service
    for rental applicants that provides their reports in pdf format.  I am unable to view or view some of their reports when using Adobe Reader Ver. 9.4.2.  However, I can view and print all of their reports when using Adobe Reader 8.2.0.

    There is no Adobe Reader version 9.4.2 (yet); the latest version is 9.4.0.  If you do have 9.4.2, then it is most likely not a genuine Adobe Reader.

    I added upgrade as advised by Adobe to Reader Ver XI but the page arrows enlarge the page once and do not turn to next page.
    But the zoom facility is by a magnifier glass that works ok.
    So there is a problem and I want to reload Ver X and cannot!
    Also when I click on a PDF file it does not automatically pick it up in emails.
    Anyone any ideas please?

    All Adobe Reader versions are backwards compatible, so you should be able to open Acrobat 8 and earlier documents with Reader 9.
    Do you have a specific problem with a document and Reader 9?  If so, please give more details.
