I have the same problem. It says trial is expired, so I select the "sign in now" button. After sign in, it comes up with a place to enter a serial number. The only two other options are "back" and "next".

If by 11 you mean 11.0.0, I suggest that you update to 11.0.09 and try again.

Have do changed the preferences in Adobe Reader to disable automatic updation ? As normally reader will automatically prompt you to install an update as soon as it available. You can change the preferences from Edit--> Preferences-->Updater and select the option Automatically install updates.
Alternatively you can check on http://get.adobe.com/reader/ to manually download the latest version of Acrobat.

Gary what version of the software are you trying to install? Is it Creative Cloud or Creative Suite? Also which operating system are you using? Do you receive any specific error messages?

It's unlikely that an alternate PDF reader would block Acrobat. It's more likely that your virus scanner/ firewall is damaging files when they are being accessed or at least manipulates their signatures. Turn that stuff off (temporarily) and try again. Otherwise this could of course be caused by missing system DLLs or flakey drivers, but that's impossible to find out without sitting in front of your machine.

Help. I just purchased a subscription for XI and it is making me use Creative Cloud to download. When I try to sign in to Creative Cloud it Gives me an Unknown Server Error and says, "Sign in is currently unavvailable. We are unable to access your account. Please try again later." I have done all 3 steps from the help page located at http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/unknown-server-error-launching-cc.html but I still get the same error.
What can I do?

Please follow the steps below to download Acrobat 11 :
1. Navigate to the Acrobat 11 Downloads page : http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=acrobat_pro&loc=us
2. Sign in with your Adobe ID.
3. Copy and paste the following link on the address bar and hit enter : http://trials3.adobe.com/AdobeProducts/APRO/11/win32/AcrobatPro_11_Web_WWMUI.exe
4. Save the file.
5. Run the downloaded file to begin installation.

Adobe Acrobat 9 Download Error

When I download and extract adobe acrobat 9 std files, it says I don't have enough storage. I have a yoga II and should have plenty of storage. Is there something else I need to do?

Could you please share the exact error message that appears when extracting Acrobat std files.
You might try emptying the TEMP folder by typing '%temp%' in the Run window (Press Windows + R) and then check again.
What version of OS are you working on? Is it compatible with Acrobat 9 std?

Please restart your system and then try launching Acrobat again. Wait for few seconds for it to get launched. If issue still persist please share the following details.
1. OS details.
2. What other Adobe products do you have installed on your system
3 Errors if any, thrown on launching the Acrobat.
4. Log files (oobelib.log, amt3.log and pdapp.log) present at %temp% folder on windows and at Home/Library/Logs on Mac.

Can't find download for Acrobat 9 STD--the Acrobat 9 download is for PRO, and my serial number not valid for PRO.

I'm switching to a new laptop, and I want to bring my Acrobat 9 STD with me. Deactivated it on the old laptop, went to the download page for Acrobat 9 and downloaded it, got to the part in the installation where I entered my serial number, and the installation wizard said it was invalid. That's when I noticed the download was for Acrobat 9 PRO, not STD. I used the support chat and explained it to the support person, and he gave me a link for the 9 STD download. Unfortunately, it was the same page. I downloaded it again. Still 9 PRO. Anyone else have any ideas where they're hiding the Acrobat 9 STD download?

Finding the file all depends on how you did the install and if you downloaded the install file. If the install file was downloaded to the TEMP folder, there is a slight chance it may still be there (should be in Windows>TEMP, not sure on MAC). It may have a name similar to the Pro download of AcroPro90_efg.exe. The Pro would be change to Std and I am not sure what the efg stands for. I would search for AcroStd9*.exe. There seems to be a download for AA 9 std available at http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-acrobat-x-10-pro-reader-suite-direct-download-links-ddl.ht ml. I have no idea if that works. I had found one place where a staff member said he is working on getting links up for all the older versions, not just the trials (that are Pro). I simply searched on Google for Acrobat 9 Standard files. I can't find the message by the staff, but there is one in the last week or two as I recall where a staff member was providing links for folks on an individual basis.

if you have a problem downloading, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.
the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).
failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com

While downloading Acrobat XI, download assistant leaves a folder in my downloads with an invalid .dmg file (illegal seek when you try to open it in Mac OSX 10.9)

This "go get community help" because we won't let you email us or chat after 7-7 is the most useless, frustrating and time-wasting process I've yet found.

I have an active 12 month subscription to Acrobat pro. I have a new laptop on Windows8.1 and need to download Acrobat Pro again. All I can find is the trial version to download. Where do I find a link to download it so I can use it with my subscription? Thanks

You can go ahead and download the trial version and license it via your Adobe ID.
The subscription is linked to your Adobe ID and there's no difference between the trial version installer and the full version except for the fact that the trial version is good for 30 days of usage.
