Adopting PR to PO

I am working in ECC 6.0 and I have run into following problem.
I created a PR with several line items- lI deleted ine item 160- then created line item 170 and 180. When I adopted this PR to create PO- line item 160 showed up with trash can. However, the system is requiring me to release this item and it is not letting me save the po. Also this deleted item is also showing up on Print preview.
Also line item 180 did not show up when the PR was adopted into PO- is there a limit of how many items can be adopted.
So I have three questions- first one why deleted item is showing up on PO( print preview); why the system is forcing me to relese a deleted item and 3 why all line items are not showing up when PR is getting adopted.

in the p/r go to item details
u have to select the material 1 over there
then on quantities tab u have to tick the closed indicator
when u do this the p/r for the first item is completed
it will not show the first item in the p/o
do this
u r problem will be slved

Rule for Adoption Pay in UK payroll

Need your help to solve an issue.
My Business Scenario: Need to calculate an adoption pay for employee based on Average Weekly payment of 2 pay periods. I have to pay adoption pay for an employee only for 6 weeks. The date from which it has to be start will be in P0088.
Consider the scenario:
01.2014 - 01.01.2014 - 29.01.2014
02.2014 - 30.01.2014 - 18.02.2014
If the adoption pay start date is mentioned in P0088 is 01.01.2014 then it should give the pay based on the avg. weekly salary for 4 weeks on 1st pay period and for the next period it should provide it only for 2 weeks.
For Example:
Avg weekly pay for 4 weeks (based on 2 pay periods): 2250
I came to know that using PCR I can do it. My query is how to write PCR based on date (P0088) and check how many weeks it covered in before period (4 weeks in my first period) and in current period (2 weeks in my 2nd period) .
Note: I am newbie to payroll functional part, it will be helpful if you mention in detail to achieve the scenario. Let me know if you any input.

Hi Giriesh,
unless your customer is doing some really wierd and possible illegal things, writing your own PCRs from scratch is almost certainly leading you into a dead end.
You should build onto the standard functionality of PY-GB for absence schemes. It may even work out of the box with standard config. If you are not familiar with UK absence schemes, it's paramount you familiarise yourself with that topic before taking it any further.
Apologies, if I misunderstood your question, but it sounds to me as if you're trying to solve this without having considered standard absence scheme functionality.

PR adoption to PO

Is there a way in config to ensure that if a Req line have been deleted, that when adopting on a PO, it does not adopt as well?
Currently if a Req is created for eg with 2 lines, and line 2 is deleted.
When adopting in ME21N both lines will adopt if the user did not open up the selection and only adopt the valid line
Some times Requ2019s have 40+ lines, users necessarily always remember which line has been deleted

Delivery notes not getting adopted at MIRO

Iam facing a problem after selecting all Delevery notes no.s and pressing adopt the selected D.N's are not populating as line items
Only the first d.n no is populating.
What could be the problem

When Miro entry is simulated & later posted the assignment field column for cenvat clearing a/c is blank - doc typr RE whereas during miro , assignment field has been entered.
i have checked the gl master of cenvat clearing a/c, sort key entered is po numb, rest all is ok. i have checked field status grp for cenvat clearing a/c, it looks fine.
when J1IEX entry is passed cenvat clearing a/c shows po numb in the assignment field , but the same is not shown for miro entry.

PS: The GR/IR clg a/c shows po numb at both migo & miro level, however as u would know GR/IR clg a/c is not part of J1IEX entry. i am trying to apply the logic of GR/IR clg a/c to cenvat clearing a/c at miro level , but no success

Since updating to Mavericks, i can no longer use my USB Ethernet Adopter

Since updating to Mavericks, i can no longer use my Ethernet USB adopter as the drivers are only supported to the previous version. I need to use this where i work as Mac's cant accsess the wireless. Ive been told the only option restore to the prev OSX.. The only problem is i havnt set up time machine.
Is there anything i can do to either revert to the original OSX ( the mac is only a month old) or restore to an older version without using timemachine.... Or even better just get my Adoptor to work?
Any help would be very much appriciated as i can only go for so long with the internet at work.

Early adopter, please help!!!!

Hi, i'm an italian early adopter of iPod Nano 4G, so sorry for my poor english.
I was successful in connecting the first time iPod on my PC, and starting a download process.
After the download ended, the icon of ejecting ipod suddenly disappeared, and appeared a yellow triangle spotting that there was a damage on a file in Itunes.exe: \ipo_control\Music.
My Pc recognized Ipod, but not Itunes.
The other fact was that my iPod spent 1.5g of his capacity for storing...nothing!But the elapsed capacity was signed in the "About" list.
I tried to follow the hints on the apple site, trying to update, to restore, to disinstall and reinstall software, but after by after the situation collapsed, my iPod began not even being recognized by Pc(a generical "removable disposal G: appeared), the update prompts slowed down 'till death,and now if i try to access to the ipod via Pc it prompts that the file directory is damaged and not readable, i wasn't able to do anything, and now i'm stuck in this situation.
Maybe i can try to call the italian green number for assistance, but really my first contact with an apple product was bad.
What could i do now?On the ipod screen every time i connect it the prompt "do not disconnect" continues to roll and roll, i don't know if disconnect, not disconnect for not create a worse situation, i really tried everything but try by try the problems rised up instead of dropping down.

Run the Chkdsk utility
You could run the chkdsk utility on your iPod. But Restoring your iPod has the same effect as running chkdsk. Chkdsk does not wipe your iPod.
1) Enable Disk Mode as above
2) Determine the drive letter of your iPod from My Computer
3) Go to Start, Run
4) Type cmd. Hit Enter to take you to the Command Prompt.
5) Type chkdsk /f X:, where X is the drive letter of your iPod. Hit Enter, and any corrupt files are found and corrected.

Oracle needs to come out with a Mac & Linux Beta built, or let developers know the real story behind Mac OS and Javafx 2.0.

I too would like to at least be able to try the Mac/Linux ports, even knowing that they are behind the Windows version. But just knowing that Oracle is committed to them is enough to ease any nervous feeling that I'm choosing the wrong tech.
I have no problems with the fact that Oracle is concentrating on Windows first. It makes sense. If you have to pick one platform to focus on while you are getting the kinks out, it makes sense for it to be the most popular platform. That's Windows. But there mustn't be too long of a wait for the others. (E.g. if they were in a public beta stage when the Windows version is at final release, that would help boost confidence in the platform.)
So long as they don't make the same mistakes that were made with Swing, where there are too many assumptions that all platforms work the same - so things like Mac's screen menu bar had to be fit in after the fact by Apple using awkward hacks. (I notice that now even popular Linux distros (Ubuntu) are using the screen menu bar concept, though they have managed to fit that into the window manager in such a way that it didn't seem to cause much problems.)

How to make the price in PO to adopt from info-record and not changeable?

Can somebody explain to me how to set the PO price to be adopted from the info-record and is NOT CHANGEABLE at the creation and change of PO screen. I know that i can configure the field selection for the PO type to be "price as display" only. Any other solution?

tick the check box info-update at the item detail under master data tab in a PO.
its significance is as follows:-
Info record update
    Determines whether the prices and conditions of this purchase order item
    are suggested in future PO items.
Use
    Selecting InfoUpdate causes one of the following situations to occur:
        -   If just one info record (with or without plant) exists, it is
            updated.
        -   If no info record exists and "plant condition requirement" was
            specified in Customizing, an info record with plant is created.
            Otherwise, an info record without plant is created.
        -   If two info records exist (that is, one info record with plant
            and one without plant) the info record with plant is updated.
Dependencies
     You can specify that prices and conditions in purchasing info records
     are only allowed at plant level in the Purchasing IMG, under Conditions
     -> Define Condition Control at Plant Level.

Data from Business Add-In ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST not adopted

I am trying to find out an exit or badi for Updating Tax Unit of Measure in transaction ME21n.( Auto Po Creation)
The scenario is like this...
The system assumes Base Unit of Measure for all its calculations. If the order UOM of a part happens to be different from the base UOM or if an alternate UOM then the system should consider the UOM.
The Base UOM needs to be passed to BAPI during the upload process into SAP so that the ORDER will either be created in the base UOM or the appropriate conversion factor will be taken into account when calculating the order quantity if the order UOM happens to be different from the base UOM.
If no UOM is specified in the input of the BAPI call then the system should put the base unit of measure for the part instead.
For the above I have written logic in BADI ME_Process_PO_CUST and Method Proess_Item..
The code is below,

Check whether standard fields are changed in the implementation of the Business Add-In ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST.
Changes to standard fields that are part of the Include structure MEPOITEM_TECH and/or MEPOSCHEDULE_TECH are generally not allowed. In addition, no field values that are not changeable through the field settings in the Enjoy transactions can be changed in the BAdI. Correct the implementation accordingly.

Thanks for your information but I have done that also and found Message in Se91 and find message is triggering from another Standard Class CL_PO_HEADER_HANDLE_MM from method IF_FLUSH_TRANSPORT_MM_START so How can we confirm that problem is in Implementation not in method IF_FLUSH_TRANSPORT_MM_START ?

How can i block PO adopt from PR with no release tab

Dear Experts,
I need to block PO creation ( by adoptation of PR) from PR which has no release tab active. Kindly help me how can i do this.
From unreleased PR , PO can not be created and it is standard SAP function. But if PR has no release tab then PO can be created from that PR and no error or warning is there. But i need to block PO creaation from the PR which as no released tab active.

Would not be good idea to place those PRs in release strategy? In this way PO(s) will not be created until PR(s) is released. Have a look at release strategy of PR under the path; IMG-Materials Management-Purchasing-Purchase Requisition-Release Procedure
Otherwise you have to develop some coding. You can use BADI: ME_PROCESS_PO in order to control unreleased PR. If EBAN-FRGRL is NULL in PO then you can place an error message as you want.

What's a good Wifi USB adopter for Macbook OSX 10.5.8?

The wifi on my Macbook is broken and I heard a wifi USB adopter is a good solution. Unfortunately, the Linksky bought from Best Buy wasn't comparable and apparently none of the retail stores has one that is. Any suggestions?

Purchase Requisition - Adopt requisition price in purchase order

Hello all,
In Purchase Requisition there is the field BPUEB (Adopt requisition price in purchase order) that is used to transfer the valuation price from the PR to the PO.
The field's values are :
0. Do not adopt
1. As gross price
2. As net price
The default value is "Do not adopt".
How can I change the default value to "As gross price" ?

Hi,
you can control this via the user parameter EVO.
the various combinations can be configured in SPRO
Material management > Purchasing > Environement data > Define default values for buyers
Choose an entry (or create a new one)
Go to the price adoption tab and set the "always copy" option and flag the "manual becomes gross price".
Allocate this code to the EVO parameter on the user profile settings.

What to do now so that i can adpoted both the delieveries.

PR Price Adopted to PO for service item

We are using idocs which uses BAPI_PO_CREATE1 to load the legacy PO's into ECC. Even though we supply the PO Price which is different than the PR Price for service item, the price is still adopted from PR which we don't want. I checked ML91 and there is a flag which is "Ignore Requisition Price in PO", but for online process, PR price must be adopted to PO for service item. Any Ideas if something can be done with configuration or any enhancements I have to look at.

As you needed, use t.code OMET & define functional authorization, choose u201CAdopt PO Priceu201D and u201CRef. to Purchase Requisition" & save. Now in t.code SU01 assign your user ID with parameter ID EFB.& save. Now create PR & then create PO wrt PR, see the valuation price of PR will be taken to PO automatically.

Partner functions not adopting in RFQ and Purchase order

I have maintained all partner function coustamizations to vendor account group , in vendor master i am getting to all partner function , but in RFQ and PO i am getting only VN ,iam not getting GS,IP,etc.............

SPRO->Materials ManagementPurchasingPartner Determination-Partner Settings in Purchasing Documents > Define Partner Schemas> 0002Normal Purchase Ordr--set the partner function as mandatory, so it will adopt during PO.
