Adress bar doesn't respond too keystrokes...?

More often then not when I start safari I have too make a new tab too be able too type anything intoo the adress bar?
I have no extra Safari add-ons running.

this problem happened to me using the public beta, in the official release it did not appear any more.
However, I found it still remains in the following situation:
When using spaces with Safari fixed to some particular space. Then when closing all windows of Safari, changing to a different working space and activating Safari from spotlight (probably also when clicking on the Safari icon in the dock), a new Safari window is opened and one is changed back to the space associated to Safari. Now (when new windows start with top sites), the top sites window is opened, but the cursor is not in the address line as it should be. (I'm not sure about the following: but I think even clicking with the mouse into the address line does not activate a cursor, you have to press cmd-l to activate it)
Anyone has the same problem?

Ever since I upgraded to ios6, when I power up the slide bar doesn't respond. I have to go to "sleep" mode and then awake before "start" slide bar will respond.

I also have this problem. Hit the sleep button, then home and the slide will work.

Microsoft Word doesn't respond too frequently

My iPad 2 keyboard doesn't respond to keystrokes. What is the issue?

My wife was trying to activate cellular data on her iPad 2, but the keyboard didn't respond to strokes when info was requested. So, I went to email and tried to write an email and the same thing happened. I have restarted it, but problem persists. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

1. Restart
2. Shut down the computer.
    Clean the trackpad with moist not wet microfiber cloth.
    System Preferences > Point & Click
    Try turning off three finger dragging and then turning it on after testing.
3. Is there any Bluetooth device nearby with failing batteries? If so, replace the batteries.

    Choose the method for:
    "Resetting SMC on portables with a battery you should not remove on your own".
6. Close all windows and quit all applications.

    Select Disk Utility from the drop down. When the Disk utility window opens up,
    select Macintosh HD, then First Aid.
    Click Repair Disk Permissions button.
    Ignore the time remaining estimate.
    Last 1 minute may take longer.

Youtube loading bar is not responding and the videos stop and start re-loading again and it doesn't move again.

When I start loading a video, it either load the entire bar and freezes or it freezes while in the middle. When it tries to load again it just won't start and I have to refresh but it still freezes up. Also when I try to pause the vide it doesn't respond as well.
Its not the html5 trial as well as you see the print bellow.
The WebM is not supported. I don't know what that means.

I did empty the cahe and history and still didn't work.

I forgot to mention, it does happen the same on Firefox.
I do have the latest flash as well.

After 5 minutes of inactivity, Firefox 4 doesn't respond to my keystrokes. I just upgraded from 3.6 and I never had a problem before. What do I do?

Recently, upgraded from 3.6 to 4; now, Firefox stops responding to my keystrokes after 5 minutes of inactivity. The tab says connecting, but it doesn't register my keystrokes and nothing happens. I try to quit, but it doesn't quit, one screen disappears and another blank firefox page appears as if it's always been there. I then have to "force quit" and the program works again when I restart it. 5 minutes of inactivity and it starts all over again.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

SAP Business One 8.8. Report doesn't show and workstation doesn't respond.

Hi all,
We have a customer with:
SAP Business One 8.8 (8.80.237) PL: 19 HOTFIX1.
Sql Server 2005
Crystal Reports 12.1.3.1028
We have done some reports wich run under server machine but not under workstation.
Even i've done a dummy report without any data connection and it doesn't run under workstation (server machine works perfectly). This dummy report only show a label with static text "Hola".
We don't receive any error message, SAP Business One client doesn't respond and in task manager you can see "not responding" message.
SAP support connected to our customer installation and they suggested us formatting workstations computers. We did it but the problem persists. Thank you very much for your help.

In this case, why you not responded to SAP for their suggestion of formatting the workstation?
If you unfortunately closed the old support ticket, then just raise a new support ticket with reference of the old one too.

Lower Edge of Spacebar doesn't respond

I have an HP Touchsmart Envy 15, and the spacebar doesn't seem to be functioning correctly.
60% of the surface on my spacebar does not respond, and the whole key doesn't respond until I press closer to the upper edge of the bar.

go in your <forms-home>forms\server - directory. there is formsweb.cfg.
All the [default] - parameters are global. If you don't set a parameter in your own section, then the fallback-parameters are stored there.
at the end of the file you should write your own settings:
e.g.

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

In your first post you mention you have done a reset and a restore. Those are the last two processes in the user troubleshooting. If those do not work, then the last thing is to go to the Genius Bar. You say you went to Apple and they opened the phone and re-seated the connectors? That sounds unusual, because if there was a hardware issue,they would replace the hardware. You say you cannot get a replacement, is that because you are out of warranty? An out of warranty replacement is only $199 plus tax. It seems to me since you mention the fact you need to press hard to get the screen to react there is something going on with the hardware. If this problem has been going on for over a year, have you been reporting this to Apple. You say you cannot get a replacement and you are on the second phone, I wonder why they are denying you a replacement. Is there something you are not telling us??

I've got some problems with keyboard. It respond very slow
or doesn't respond for pressing.
If I don't see forte scee it loos lke that.
Some keys look like not pressed.
If I press stronger situation is the same.
It necessary to check all characters and the speed of printing
bacames too slow.
At service center master said that he doesn't see any problems.
He said that we should get used to the keyboard.
And re-install Windows.
But I've got the same problems.

You can find the BIOS version within the BIOS settings.
To access the BIOS you have to press F2 while powering up the unit.
But I doubt that BIOS update would improve the keyboard functionality.
In my opinion you should test an external USB keyboard.
If the external keyboard would work properly, the issue might be related to the internal keyboard.

Navigation bar doesn't work

I'm working on my website, and the navigation bar doesn't work. When I test it in iWeb, (checking the box that says "make hyperlinks active") it works fine, but when I publish it, they're dead. I can click as much as I want and they don't work.
I replaced the default title with a title that has a hyperlink to send you back to the main page. I'm wondering if this might affect it.
any tips?
the website (for now) is web.mac.com/chriscowan. As of this post, the only active links from the main page are "Music," "Podcasts," and "Words."

i too have been searching for an answer to this problem. found something in another post that totally fixed it. don't know if it will help you but worth a try.
check to see if a grahic box is covering your nav bar. Turn on 'Show Layout' to see the graphic boxes.

I can't select it .. I click on it and nothing happens. The only thing I seem to be able to do is a two fingered click which brings up a context menu for the side bar preferences..but unfortunately this icon does not appear in the list.
