ADS Credential File

Hi,
I am trying to configure the ADS on the Sneak Preview, The link given to download the ADS credentials is

I am getting quite an old credential file which is valid only till June07. Has the link changed..? Can someone please send me the new credential files if you have.

click on it to get ur credential and password.

Its not correct producure but u can try these
Extract the zip file
Goto -- tools -- internet options -- content -- Certificates -- import -- next --browse ur file -- give password -- now u can see expiry date here
delete file after checking

Need Adobe Credential file for NW 2004s

Hi,
I have installed NW2004s Portal SneakPreview.
I want to work on Adobe Interactive forms, for this need to configure ADS.
But I got Adobe credential file, which is expired at 2007 itself.
Can anyone provide valid crendetial file for Adobe? or from where I can download latest file.

Expired credential file

The credential file downloaded from the 'SAP NetWeaver Trial and Preview Versions' section of SDN isn't valid anymore. Will (and when) a new credential be available? And in which way, will it be available?

I just followed your link and tried to install the files, after the old one expired last month.
Unfortunately I can't use the Adobe Document Services. He always throws me the following exception:
com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.WDRuntimeException: Error during call to AdobeDocumentServer: Processing exception during a "UsageRights" operation.
Request start time: Fri Nov 10 12:40:24 CET 2006
com.adobe.ProcessingError: Error while retrieving a password for credential: ReaderRights:
java.lang.Exception: Could not retrieve a password for credential: ReaderRights
With the old expired files the ADS worked.
Do you know how to solve my problem?

Should SAP supply the password when they supply the credential file

I am configuring ADS for a client and they sent in an OSS message to get a credential file. They received the file but no password. Shouldn't SAP supply the password since they supplied the credential file?

ACF Sneakpreview NW04 SP15 and Adobe Credential files SP15

Hi there all,
As most of you already read, the Adobe Interactive Forms are not working correctly in SNeakPreview(SNP) NW04 SP16. I also have the SNP NW04 SP15 and want to install this version. But i do not have the Adobe Credenitial and ACF for this version. I searched SDN for the files, but i didn't found them. Maybe one of you has the files. If so pls send them to me by mail (smeagol_gollum[at]zonnet.nl).

ADS Credential Problem

Hi,
In the configuration guide it is said that after we give the alias name and the password for the credential the page will refresh and the registerd credential will be shown.
In my case i gave the alias name and the password as given by SAP but the credential did not get registered that is i could not see my credential file under the credentials tab.But i did not get any error message as well.
Is there any way to know whether the credentials has been registered.

I have specified the Credential during installation and i can see the same .pfx file in the Trust/Credentials directory.
While registering iam able to select the credential and i have also given the password provided b SAP but the page does not refresh when i press the add button.I tried restarting the service but even that did not show the list of registered credential.

I am receiving the following error in the Visual Admin:

In the default.trc file, I see:

Is there a way to set/correct the setting for the "document services trust manager base directory"?
Also, I have looked at SAP Note 900945. This error states that the error only occurs in a clustered environment. But I have only one server.
Also, I did copy the pfx file to usr\sap\J2E\SYS\global\AdobeDocumentServices\TrustManagerService\trust\credentials.
Any ideas?
Update:
I saw on a another forum post to make sure that the IIOP service is started on the dispatcher and server.
My dispatcher's IIOP service is not running, and when I start it I get an error.
The log file for VA shows:

And what is that supposed to do to fix my problem (or diagnose it further)?
The line you told me to add in the "General" tab - what was that supposed to do or fix?
I still cannot start the IIOP service in the dispatcher.

I am not sure they really promote the utility, don't know why not. I know there a couple of versions out there depending on which version of EPMA you are using.
Also the 9.3.1 version has a nice little bug which sets your classic app to epma mode so the dimensions can't be edited, though this can be resolved by changing a value in a relational table.

ADS Credential Rights Issue. All reports checks successful...

I am having an ADS issue in my EP production environment. When users click on any adobe form, it gives 2 popup, stating
1) u201CThis document enabled extended feature in Adobe Reader. The use of the extended features has expiredu201D
2) u201CThis document enabled extended feature in Adobe Reader. The document has been changed since it was created and use of extended feature is no longer available. Please contact the author for the original version of this document.u201D
And it displays the below errors in the log.
Log location:--> /usr/sap/<SID>/JC00/j2ee/cluster/server0/log
1) com.adobe.ProcessingException: Required stream: "PDFDocument" not found in request OR its length is zero.
2) com.adobe.ProcessingException: Credential login error while applying usage rights to PDF: /var/tmp/adobewa_EPP_14070851/DM-4025786556068948812.dir/DM-6606423593397490494.tmp
Specific error information:
error while logging into credential '^0'
GeneralError: Operation failed.
SecurityHandler.login:-1:
Could not create temporary file
Troubleshooting Steps I have followed
Step 1: I observed the u201CCredential Keyu201D in Visual Admin got expired.
Action: I sent a request to SAP Market place to request a new credential key and got a new key.
Resolution: The credential key was applied to all server nodes, all required ADS service were restarted and u201CWASu201D was restarted.
Step 2: Ran reports (FP_TEST_00, FP_PDF_TEST_00, FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE, and FP_TEST_IA_01)
Action: Ran reports in se38
Resolution: All reports were successful.
Step 3: Followed all instructions for the below links

Keycodes can be requested on the SAP Service Marketplace using the following instructions:
1. Log onto the SAP Service Marketplace: http://service.sap.com/bosap-support
2. Click Keys & Requests > License Keys and select Request license key (Note: Choose Display license keys requested by me or My company's license key requests when trying to locate existing or recently requested license keys.)
3. Click on the relevant Installation number (e.g. 0020315119)
4. Click New system
5. Enter a System name (e.g. T-INST-BOBJ)
6. Select the System type from the drop down list
7. Select the Operating system from the drop down list (Hint: select NT/INTEL for Windows.)
8. Click Continue
9. Locate the Description of the product or add-on for which a license key is needed (you can click on all items that you need so you only have to make the request one time)
10. Select the appropriate Product version from the drop down list
11. Click Continue
12. Enter your email address, and confirm your email address
13. Click Submit and the following confirmation message should be displayed: "Your request has been successfully submitted. You will receive an email with your license key information."
When the keycodes are ready, you will receive an email for each item you requested a key for.

1. Log onto Service Marketplace (http://service.sap.com/bosap-support)
2. Select the Help & Support tab
3. Select Report a Product Error
4. Log a case as normal, but use component XX-SER-LIKEY-BOJ (not EIM-BOJ-COR for example)
Note: It is recommended to save the keycode(s) in a text file for future reference.

1.The error in log " http://ENCEPD:50000/AdobeDocumentServices/Config?style=document", this is related to ADS related error .
For this ADS configuration is required(i think).
For ADS configuration credentials are required. write to SAP they will send ADS credential file and password.(itz free)

Installing a credential for Adobe Document Services
In order to work with Adobe Document Services you need to install a valid credential. A preliminary credential is included in this download.
To install a credential perform following steps:
􀂃 Create a subdirectory named trust below the c:\usr\sap\J2E\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0\persistent\com.adobe~TrustManagerService directory
􀂃 Create a subdirectory named credentials below the trust directory created in the previous step
􀂃 Copy the credential file filename.pfx (located at <zip_extract_folder>\SAPNetWeaver04SneakPreviewJavaSP11\ADSCredentialFiles) to the c:\usr\sap\J2E\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0\persistent\com.adobe~TrustManagerService\trust\credentials directory
To get the file,i got this document.But still i am not getting this file.
Please tell me the exact process to get this file
