ADSL Signal aus StarterBox vom Keller in die 1. Etage verlängern!
Hallo Leute,
ich möchte meine neue TC nicht in Keller stellen, wo der heutige ADSL WLAN Router steht. Das Signal ist zwar ganz gut, aber arbeiten tue eben nicht am Computer im Keller. Ich würde nun gerne das ADSL Signal direkt hinter der StarterBox (bei mir von Arcor-Vodafone) über die im Haus verlegt Ethernetkabel an eine bestimmte Ethernetdose lenken (leiten). Nun die Frage, ob das überhaupt so geht oder ob wegen des ADSL Signals Längenrestriktionen bestehen.
Vielleicht liest das hier jemand!

I would like to put my new TC not in cellar where the today's ADSL WLAN Router stands. Though the signal quite feels well, but I do not work on the computer in the cellar. Now I would the signal ADSL directly behind the starter box (with myself from my carrier arcor-vodafone) about the house installed ethernet cabel. Now the question whether this will work in general or do i fail because of the signal ADSL gets in confusion why there is a length restriction.

sorry I can only answer in English.. but adsl as in phone line can suffer issues if there is a lot of rf noise in the house.. this is not normally a problem.
If you connect the ADSL modem in bridge to the TC (Time Capsule) working as a router by ethernet cable.. then there is no problem at all. I am not sure if you use PPPoE though.. if not you will have to decide on another method.
The options are running the current modem router in full router mode.. and use the TC in bridge.. this removes the routing from the TC but allows it to still do everything like wireless and Time Machine backup.
You can put the TC in the DMZ of the modem-router.. you will need to check the manuals.. the TC is then also a router.. but the DMZ will pass all the unconnected packets to the TC, meaning you do not suffer issues with double NAT.

Wenn ich danach jedoch nach diesem Song suche gibt es das Lied nicht... So als hätte ich das Lied gar nicht hinzugefügt...
Ich habe das jetzt auch schon mehrmals probiert, mal in einen Ordner getan oder wo anders gespeichert aber nix funktioniert...
Des is ez auch schon öfters aufgetreten & langsam nervt mich das, da bestimmt 20 Lieder "davon betroffen sind"

Für eine Ausstellung konzipierten wir im InDesign eine mehrseitige Präsentation, welche wir als ein interaktives PDF expotieren.
Da wir integriete Filme mit einer Endlosschleife versehen möchten, habe wir über das Bedienfeld Medien die Schleife angewählt. Aber leider steht dort, dass diese Option beim PDF nicht funktioniert.
Gibt es einen anderen Weg Filme mit einer Endlosschleife im PDF zu integrieren?
Danke schon im Voraus für eure Hilfe.Für eine Ausstellung würde ich gar nicht PDFs mit Filmen verwenden. Denn Filme funktionieren nur in Acrobat/Reader 9 und X, bis 8 gar nicht und ab XI nur dann, wenn zusätzlich der Flash Player installiert ist. Mit anderen PDF-Viewern funktionieren die Filme gar nicht. Für mich wäre das ein zu hohes Risiko, wenn etwas ausfällt.
Wenn die PDF-Schleife für Filme nicht funktioniert, dann muss das leider so akzeptiert werden. Ein Workaround ist dann nicht möglich.
Sonst kannst Du ja auch ein PDF das Umblättern mit Endlosschleife versehen. Automatischer Seitenwechsel und bei der letzten Seite eine Seitenaktion, bei der das Dokument auf Seite 1 wieder startet. Diese Aktion muss in Acrobat hinzugefügt werden. Dann kannst Du ja bei einer bestimmten Seite den Film immer automatisch ablaufen lassen. -

Funktion Bereich auswählen und Integral bilden

1.) Mit welcher Funktion kann ich mir den nahesten Wert and der X-Achse = 0 ab dem 100.-sten Messwert suchen und das Integral bis zum nächsten (Nulldurchgang der X-Achse) bzw. den nahesten Wert and der X-Achse = 0 bilden lassen? (Bereich siehe "CopyYSensor 1")
2.) Wie kann ich mir die Länge der Messwertzeilen auf 212 durch kopieren der ersten drei Messwerte und einfügen in die vierten Zeile verlängern , wenn es nur ggf. 209 oder 207 Messwerte sein würden.
Wichtig wäre das es immer 212 Messwerte wären.

zu 1)eine direkte Funktion gibt es in Diadem nicht, aber Im VBS-Script über den Befehl "ChnFind"( finden Sie auch wenn Sie in der Hilfe in Diadem suchen)
können Sie z.B. die Zeile suchen in der das erste mal ein Wert auftritt der gleich 0 ist zum Beispiel.
Dann erhalten Sie die Zeile zurück, an welcher zum ersten mal der 0 Durchgang auftritt, bei dieser Funktion ist es auch möglich
erst ab einem bestimmten Messwert zu suchen, also in ihrem Fall ab dem 100.- sten Wert. Eine Beschreibung der "ChnFind" Funktion finden
Sie in der Diadem Hilfe wenn Sie unter "Index" nach "ChnFind" suchen, in älteren Diadem versionen hieß die Funktion nur "find".
Die für das Integral nicht benötigen Werte können Sie über die Funktion CTNV als "novalues" markieren, die werden dann nicht mehr mitgenommen.
Wenn Sie die ersten Werte die Sie nicht benötigen als "novalues" markiert haben, können Sie wieder über "chnFind" nach der nächsten Nullstelle
suchen und die Werte danach als "novalues" markieren, damit hätten Sie dann den Bereich über den Sie integrieren wollen und müssten dann noch nur
noch über den Kanal integrieren.
Das wäre eine Möglichkeit das ganze zu implementieren, da gibt es aber auch sicherlich noch andere Wege.
Wie auch für "ChnFind" finden Sie auch den Befehl "CTNV" in der Diadem Hilfe beschrieben.

Bei Synchronisation über wlan verschwindet iPad aus der geräteübersicht
Auf meinem Rechner ist Windows7 Prof. in der aktuellen Version installiert. Als WLAN Router benutze ich eine Fritzbox 7220 in der aktuellen Version. Nach dem starten von iTunes (auch in der aktuellen Version) wird mein iPad3 in der Geräteleiste angezeigt. Wähle ich dieses aus und starte die Synchronisation, so erscheint nach einer Weile: Gerät wird gesucht, Gerät nicht gefunden und mein iPad verschwindet aus der Geräteliste.
Dieses Problem, habe ich mit meinem iPad3 und meinem iPhone 3GS, dem iPad3 und dem iPhone4 meiner Frau (alle auf dem letzten IOS 5.1.1, aber in 4.xxx auch schon). Dieser Fehler tritt zeitweise auf, wobei es durchaus sein kann, dass zum Beispiel die Synchrnisation vom iPhone funktioniert, die vom iPad aber nicht (oder auch umgekehrt). Meine Frau benutzt übrigens einen eigenen Windows7 Prof. Rechner....
Was kann ich tun ?Ich benutze die Fritzbox, weil diese noch weitere Leistungsmerkmale hat, die ich nutzen möchte.
Zu meinem Problem bin ich ein Stück weitergekommen.
Das Problem tritt immer dann auf, wenn mein iPad oder iPhone im Standby ist.
Starte ich in iTunes die Synchronisation im Standby so tritt der Fehler auf.
Drücke ich auf den Homebutton, erscheint das Gerät wieder in iTunes und ich kann, solange mein Display an ist, die Synchronisation starten.
Dieses Phänomän ist mir auch schon bei der Bluetoothverbindung im Auto aufgefallen.
Hier bucht sich das iPhone erst einer Netzwersuche in das Fahrzeug ein, wenn ich einmal kurz auf den Homebutton drücke.
Ich denke, beide Fehler haben die gleiche Ursache.
Gibt es hierzu eine Abhilfe ? -

Unser Mailprogramm ist David. Wir erstellen PDFs aus bei uns eingegangenen Mails, die entweder HTML oder reine Text-Mails sein können. Bei beiden Formaten tritt das Problem gleichermaßen auf. Wo kann ich feststellen, welches Encoding im Mailprogramm eingestellt ist?

HTML-Code aus Fireworks CS6 in Dreamweaver CC aktualisieren
Ich habe in Fireworks CS6 für eine Website ein Inhaltsverzeichnis mit verschiedenen RollOvern erstellt. Jetzt sollte eine Änderung durchgeführt werden, die ich ebenfalls in Fireworks erstellte. Sinnvollerweise habe ich dann die zu korrigierenden Seiten dann zur Aktualisierung aus Fireworks heraus aufgerufen und die dazugehörigen Bilder im entsprechenden Ordner gesichert. So weit, so gut. Die Korrektur funktionierte einwandfrei. Allerdings wurden in sämtlichen HTML-Seiten alle ä,ö,ü,ß usw. durch mathematische Wurzelzeichen, Haken und diverse andere Zeichenformen ersetzt.
Hat hier jemand eine Idee, was der Grund hierfür sein könnte? Die Schriftcodierung im Headbereich der Seiten (UTF-8) war ja von den Korrekturen nicht betroffen. Die Einstellungen sind unverändert vorhanden. Wer kann mir weiter helfen?By default, HTML5 videos do not autoplay on page load.

Airport Express worked with previous ADSL modem, not working with new one
hello all.
maybe the majority of you people won't be able to help me, since i am in Brazil.
this is the story:
for the last 4 years i was a subscriber of the Speedy ADSL provider (in conjunction with the Terra content provider). the Sppedy service is part of the Telefonica telephone company and uses the regular telephone infrastructure to provide the ADSL signal thru telephone lines.
approximately 2 years ago i bought an Airport Express and set it up with the ADSL modem that Speedy provided to me. configuration was a breeze and it worked flawlessly since then.
as of last thursday (april 7th) i became a subscriber of the Ajato ADSL provider. the Ajato company is part of the TVA (cable tv) company and uses the TVA cable tv infrastructure to provide the ADSL signal.
the problem is: when i connect the Cisco DPC3000 ADSL modem to my Macbook via ethernet cable, i can surf the internet with Ajato with no problems. but when i connect the modem to my Airport Express (even though i have reset AE in order to clear the previous Speedy/Terra configuration), i get no internet in my home wireless network.
i know you guys don't have Ajato there, of course. but i suppose some of you might have faced similar problems in similar cable ADSL environments.
this said, any kind of help or hint is greatly appreciated.

First that Cisco DPC3000 is a cable modem, not a ADSL modem. You probably don't need the DSL configuration that you had before.

How did you "reset" the AE? How is it configured now? You probably need a setting of "Connect Using:" "Ethernet", rather than the "PPPoE" setting you may have had before.
If everything else looks good, it's common to have to reset a modem when switching what device is connected to it. Try powering down the modem for a few minutes. If it has a reset switch, press that. -

I have a interesting problem.. We have a wireless internet service. Not satellite. We basically have an antenna on our house that picks up the signal from a tower a mile or two away. I used the e3000 router when we lived in town with broadband internet and it worked fine. I can't get it to keep a hold of a signal. I can connect to the router from the computers but the router drops the signal from the tower. I have an old router that the wireless company was kind enough to lend me that works , but the signal is weak and it could die at any moment... I"m at my wits end.. I have an expensive piece of equipment that wont hold the signal. I have updated the firmware and the Cisco connect software..
what am I missing with this kind of connection..??
any advice would be appreciated.Thank you.. I know that..
when I hook the linksys e3000 to the modem it won't hold the signal. once it has it.. it will work fine.. but it won't maintain it.. keeps dropping. I know I'm not explaining this very well.. somewhere between the modem from the wireless internet company and the e3000 is the problem..

Hallo. Ich habe seit gestern mein neues iphone (4s). Ich habe es aus einem Backup meines 3GS mit Daten bespielt. Bei einem Kontakt habe ich nun das Problem, dass bei SMS und Anrufen immer nur die Nummer angezeigt wird und nicht der Name. Ich habe schon alles möglich probiert. Schreibweise mit +49, 0049, einfach nur 0160.... Ich habe sogar den Kontakt komplett gelöscht und wieder neu angelegt. Hilft nix. Wenn ich imessage eingeschaltet habe, wird sowohl in der SMS-Übersicht als auch der einzelnen Konversation nur die Nummer angezeigt. Habe ich imessage aus, wird in der Übersicht die Nummer angezeigt und in der Koversation variiert dies und springt hin und her. Kommt die SMS an und ich sehe nur die Vorschau der SMS, steht dort der Name. Der Apple-Mitarbeiter an der Hotline wusste auch keinen Rat. Kann mir jemand von euch helfen? Bei Google hab ich auch keine Lösung gefunden - nur eine Menge Leute, die anscheinend das gleiche Problem haben...
Habe die Lösung von der Telekom bekommen:
Einstellungen > Allgemein > Zurücksetzen > Netzwerkeinstellungen
Ein eventuell gespeichertes WLAN-Kennwort wird ebenfalls gelöscht und muss bei der nächsten Einwahl auf den WLAN-Router eingegeben werden. -
Quiet Line test with ADSL modem connected
Hi,
If I carry out the quiet line test from the test socket without the adsl modem connected then the line is quiet, when the ADSL modem comes on line, then a very distinct hiss is heard. It is loud enough to disrupt normal phone conversations.
Different Modems, different Filters (including the one recently fitted in the master socket by openreach) make no difference.
The fault history on the line is that during wind & rain then the line is really noisy with pops & crackles . Then as the weather improves the pops & crackles drop, but the hiss will remain.
Needsless to say the ADSL modem drops out regularly during bad weather, and is now connecting way below its normal 10Mb rate.
A line engineer is booked to visit , so hence can I use the adsl modem hiss on the voice line as a diagnostic to help them discover the problem?

I run a mrtg server to log stats from the modem. current connection time is an hour or so. During the storms of the past few days, the connection can be up and down every few minutes . During these periods, the crackle and pop on the line is deafening.
I am double filtered on the phone line (i.e. a filter connected to the faceplate).
At times, when the modem is stuggling to connect, extablishing a voice call can stabilise thngs. To my mind this all points to a high resistance connection. That somehow is causing the higher frequency adsl signal to be the source of lower frequency (& thus audible) hiss.
I guess it's going to depend on whether the Engineer is up for replacing overhead cables / joints . Given that one is under significant strain from large silver birch branch some 100m away from my property.
If someone could do a quick quiet line test, (with their adsl connection up) and report whether they hear a background hiss it would be most useful.
