Advance Editor - External Column when I try to set the value and click OK doesn't sets or retains the set value...

Data Source is OLEDB connecting to AdventrureWorks2012
Setting Person.Address table column SpatialLocation to move it's data to Excel File
Connection Manager created
Right click on Source and choose Advance Editor
External Column SpatialLocation Data Type DT_IMAGE and Output Column DT_BYTES Click OK is fine
Destination is Excel Destination
Connection Manager created
Right click on Source and choose Advance Editor
External Column SpatialLocation Data Type DT_BYTES and Output Column DT_BYTES by default click OK and Advance Editor dialog got closed
Now I open Advance Editor check the settings found that my settings not accepted instead sets "Unicode string [DT_WSTR]"
Is there any bug? or any ideas how to make it work to save settings.
FYI yesterday I carried it was OK worked fine but today it's not working I have no changes to my system.
If you have a questions please let me know.

I’m curious about the reason why you need to change the External Column data type in OLE DB Source. As per my understanding, we couldn’t change the External Column data type in OLE DB Source. Because the External Column data type is dependent on the source
table. We can only change the output column data type via Advance Editor or some transformations, like Data Conversion, Derived Column etc.
If there are any misunderstanding, please elaborate the issue for further investigation.

Yes 10.8.2 is the latest version of Mountain Lion. 10.7 was Lion and 10.6 was Snow Leopard.

That is a general statement that is always made when any device is not ejected, not a specific one about your hard drive. All you can do is plug it back in and hope it works. There is good chance nothing will be lost.
There is no ready technique available to you to check the details of all of your files, you will just have to assume they are all there.
Unplugging a drive like that without ejecting it is most likley to affect a file when it is still being written to such as a large (media) file that takes some time to write. If nothing was being written in that split second it was unplugged, it is highly likely nothing will be damaged or lost.

First of all, thanks for the detailed notes of the troubleshooting steps you've already tried. It's hard to pinpoint exactly what is going on in your specific case, but I do have a few more ideas for you to try.
Starting with just one of your iPads, when you get stuck on the "waiting for items to copy" step, just disconnect your iPhone. There are probably some orphaned or corrupt files that need to be addressed. I would suggest closing all of your open apps and then backing your iPad up to iCloud. Then review the articles below to move or delete any big files on your device. These can include Voice Memos (iPhone), music, photos on your camera roll, photos or videos that are attached to your Messages, email attachments, etc.

What format is the external HDD in? If it's NTFS (= proprietary Windows), then OS X can read it but not write.
Eventually copy all content from the drive to a safe place, the re-format. FAT32 is the format which both Windows and OS X can read and write.

Error while opening iTunes CD driver. This could be caused by a corrupted iTunes file or a conflict with other older CD burning applications, either currently installed or previously installed and uninstalled incorrectly.
With that one, I'd start with solution 3 from the following document:

Oh, dear.
If you use PSE as your external editor for iphoto, you need to save the images back to iphoto by using Save, not Save As and not changing anything like the name or format that would bring up the Save As window. (You may need to adjust the editor prefs>saving files>on first save to save over existing.)
OR you can export the photos from iphoto to the desktop, use file>open in the editor and then change whatever you want and either import the saved image to the organizer or import it back to iphoto as a new file. What you are doing is extremely risky, particularly to the iphoto library which you may easily damage by your workflow.
I would start the organizer holding down the shift key, then create a new catalog and switch to the new one. Then try opening the editor without opening an image and see if you get any farther.
PSE and iphoto are not designed to be used as you've been doing. You are trying to write to the iphoto library from outside iphoto, which is the fastest known way to corrupt the library and lose all your photos.

I would try in oreder:
- Resetting the iPod:
Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restoring the iPod via iTunes. First from backup and if problem persists, restore to factory defaults/new iPod.

To answer the post title FireFox save all downloads automatically in the download folder, which you can find in the Documents folder. If you want to choose where to save your downloads go to tools>options>check always ask me where to save files.
Secondly, I am assuming you have IE 8 installed as this is the only version that supports this fix that is currently not in beta. Go to control panel>internet options>advanced tab and reset the settings at the bottom. This may or may not fix the problem but it is a good first step.

I'm just guessing at this point, but I suspect that you have installed a midi driver on your computer for some external device, and, since GarageBand's midi capabilities are limited in some ways, chances are your audio/midi driver is asking GarageBand to do something more than it's made to do, causing core audio's midi function to crash.
If that's the case, you might want to try adjusting your midi device's driver settings, or uninstalling your midi device's driver, and then see if GarageBand starts up normally without it.

Did you try to open teh fle by double-clicking its icon? If the file was made with an older version of Office, you may get that message. Try opeing PP and, from its "File" menu, see if you can open the ppt. I've foundthat often gets around that message and then yo ucan save the file from the newer version.

PowerPoint is not an Apple product and it seems a lot of people around here avoid Office.
