  • Control against advance payment over delivery date

    Dear Gurus,
here we made a PO and its delivery date has been completed.
Advance payment has been given to PO vendor.
here can we restrict based on delivery date, that after completion of delivery date the advance payment should not be posted

    Bhanu.

Advance payment cannot be restricted based on PO delivery date in standard SAP.
Advance payment will be made through request F-47 and payment made through F-48. F-48 refers the advance request and F-47 refers the PO document number and item.

  • Automatic emails to vendor before delivery date in PO

    Hi All,
I have successfully done the configuration for auto emails to vendor, it will work based on the delivery date (AFTER), which is working fine.
Please guide me the settings for auto emails to vendor (BEFORE) delivery date in PO.
Example: In PO the delivery date is 07.07.2014, vendor needs to be get the auto email on 01.07.2014.
    Please guide me on this.
    Thanks

    HI
If I understood your requirement correctly, you need to send a reminder to vendor before delivery date
For example, in your case PO delivery date is 7/7/2014 and system should send a reminder on 1/7/2014  I .e 6 days prior to delivery date
So in material master or info record reminder 1 maintain value as -6 ( copied to PO when PO is created) and set up a schedule job in ME91F for auto reminders.
    Hope it helps

  • Deliveries creating before delivery date

    Hi Friends,
We are having one problem, For one particuler plant deliveries or creating before delivery date, and it's skipping some deliveries/customers due earlier.
Exapmle: for the Order #911167 line 250 created Delivery 82025494 for 1/21 PGI date and 1/22 delivery, but before this above deliver date  we have orders #907250 line 130 and #910662 line 280 which both have PGI dates of 1/20 delivery 1/21.., But these two orders skipped and created delivery for above 21st delivery date.
    Thanks
    Rao

    Hi
If you are creating delivery in background then system will check wheather the stock is available or not for that order on that schedule line delivery date and if stock is there on that date then system will confirm the sales order. But if stock is not there for that delivery date then system will do the Backward processing and then  system will give the delivery date and that is the reason some orders skip on that date
Say for example you have a sales order 111000 and the delivery date is 22/1 but on that date stock is not available then system will do the backward processing and then it will give the next delivery date (say 25/1) so you can deliver that order on 25/1.
If you are doing the background process then system might have checked only those sales orders which are to be delivered on 22/1.but as the delivery date has got changed to 25/1 then it you can do background delivery of that delivery on 25/1

  • Vendors Payment Before Due Date

    Dear All,
We could like to restric the release of Vendor payment before the due date.
We feel there is a system in SAP by which it should give a Error/ warining message (pop up) if any payment is made before the due date.
    Do suggest.
    Regards,

SAP will give you message if your posting date for e.g. is in past or in future, but the next posting date in F110 parameter decides if you can pay some not due items today or not. SAP will not give you a warning message even if the next posting date is 10 days ahead of today's date.
In the F110 parameter please make sure Next posting date is always the very next day of the payment run date or Posting date and in the Additinal log tab, please check the indicator Due date check
This user procedure will make sure that payment is never released before the due date.
But if still you want some system message to pop up, then SAP standard setting I think will not be of great help, you need to use the BTE00001830 (functional module SAMPLE_PROCESS_00001830) which will help group all the not due items in a group, and exclude the entire group from payments. Information about the group will be received by FM in structure C_REGUH and its line items in table T_REGUP
By Setting the field XIGNO in C_REGUH to the value "X" the entire group of not due items can be excluded from payments. Please take your abaper help
    Thanks

  • F110 bill of exchange: error FZ731 "...requires payment before due date"

    Hi everybody.
I'm facing an issue that is driving me crazy <:-)
I want to configure a payment method of type "bill of exchange" (in Spain, "pagaré"). I have several due invoices (due dates: 30/11/10, 31/12/10...), which have this payment method. Some other items are not yet due (30/1/11).
When carrying out a payment run thru transaction F110, the system asks for the bill of exchange issue date, which I have populated as 30/11/10. At another tests, I have populated as 10/1/11.
When running F110, the vendor items are then classified as exceptions, with error FZ731 "Pymt method I in the item requires payment by b./exch. before due date", and also message FZ732 "Item not due in 000 - 000 days".
I think this problem may be motived because the definition of the payment method "I" (company code data) says: Days until due date: 0. But this field is not updatable.
I've searched the message numbers in the forums, but found no answer.
    Anybody can help? Kind regards,
    Alvaro

Never mind, I just had to update the Paying company code, fields Bill of exchange due date... > Earliest-lates due date in...days.
    Regards.

  • GR date before delivery date in PO

    Hi all
What setting is required to allow GR to be posted before the delivery date mentioned in PO?
    Prasad

    Hi Prasad,
System will allow you to post GR before the delivery date mentioned in the PO. If you are getting any error message, then you can make it to warning message in SPRO -- Materials Managment -- Purchasing -- Environmental data -- System messages.
Identify the message number and change it to W.
    Hope this clarifies.
    Thanks,

    Hi
Have you gone through entire Cycle process of Sceduleing agreement .
If you have created Schedule agreement in -ME31L
Then maitained delivery date [Schedule lines date]-in ME38
Then SAP-System will not allow you to do the GR till the date as per the Delevery schedule lines date.
After reaching that date you can do any time GR.
Try it you will get it

  • Vendor Payment before Due date

Is there any setting whereby the system will not allow me to pay the vendor before the due date?
Or else it will give the warning message for the due date.

    Hello,
You should set all the dates in F110 correctly.
(eg: Documents entered up to, Next pmnt date)
If you want to pay only a few items just for now,
better to select a long period and edit the proposal (EDIT-> PROPOSAL-> EDIT)
and select the only items you wanna pay for now.
    Hope this helps!

  • Advance payment before creating sales order

    Hi,
Customer pays advance (Rs.100/- to Rs. 1000000/-)i.e he deposits the amount in bank & shows the receipt. Then sales order is created but order value should not exceed this deposited amount.
    How to go about.

    Dear Lakshmipathi
Yes i have gone through the Down Payment process.
But the customer directly deposit the amount in bank account using the bank slips which has a unique number(Pay-in-slip Number) which has been allocated to our client by the bank. The client want to create the sales order against this Pay-in-slip Number so that the value in order will not exceed the amount deposited.
I also tried the Value contract concept but its very cumbersome for the amount less than 1000
[One thing Mr.Lakshmipathi our client is a government organisation & they have made mandatory to their customer to deposit the amount irrespective to the value which ranges above 100]

  • Sd-delivery should be linked to advance payment-

on 17 jan 2012  sales order no (1000)raised for rs 5,000,00
advance payment received on 20 jan 2012  rs 2,000,00
validity of the sales order(1000) is on 30 jan 2012
on 21 delivery is to be taken for rs 3,000,00- sys should through error because advance payment is for rs 2,000,00-
so delivery quantity should be changed to rs 2,000,00 so system should accept the delivery

    Hi
For your requirement check point below
1.Set creditmanagement at delivery level, and customer credit limit as ZROO in this case system allow delivery only for advance payment,if advance payment is crossed system will through error.
2OR you need to be set validation by using exit to compare particular customer advance payment before processing delivery .if delivery amout is more than advance payment through the error message.
I hope these point give some clarity.

  • Advance Payment by Customer

    Dear Guru's,
The client want to have advance payment in the billing document print out.
    e. g. the customer will pay crtain % amt as a advance payment before creation of sales order. i.e if the order value is 1000 and the adance is 200 then the billing should be of 800 only.
We dont want to use down payment here.
    Pl advise.
    Regards,
    Arunava Sahana

    Hi,
You can try the following method. You define a discount condition type with absolute vale and no access sequence to it and it should be manual and statistical(So we can aviod passing this value to accounting). Then user will use this value as advance payment and deduct this value from Gross and  it will be  the net value. Make the changes in the script aswell to get this printed along with the net value. Kindly please let me know If you need any more information on this.
