If a company has implemented SAP without the HR module & now they want to implement SAP HR, will they have to buy a license for that? - Yes they will have to get licences for this.
If yes, what will they have to pay? - They will have to contact SAP for this and negotiate with them.
The number of employees working are 500. - The company will have to decide how many ESS licences they want to get and how many MSS licences they want to get. Again for all these ESS/MSS licences they wil have to pay separately apart from the HR licences.

One SAP for several company

We are using SAP as our ERP system. And now, we would like to add one more company into the system, Actually, the business of new comapany is totally differ to our existing business, and they are two entity. I would like to know, we use the existing to add new company or separate it into new SAP system. If add it into existing, anythings we have to concern. Thanks!

The way you described the New company term in different posts, it's really confusing. Is this only a separate company code along with other related Org. Units? And the some extra user for that? If yes, you can go on creating them in the same client and create separate role structure (with different naming convention) for better security and assign them to the new users.
And if it is different like: You are running one Cosmetics company through SAP and now want to implement SAP for other company, say Medicine,..... then you should forget about tampering your existing SAP Landscape. Please use new setup (hardware, OS, DB, ERP i.e. SAP etc...) for this.
New client in the existing Boxes will become Night mare in future.

Implementing SAP

Hi all,
Before implementing SAP or for implementing SAP in a company what are the prerequisites we need to develop.
In other words say we are implementing SAP for a project, before that what kind of ground work should be done (prepared) not BASIS activities but in general.
Do we require to create or develop any general structures or programs which are required or used all over the SAP Implementation for that project ?

Implementing SAP in your company depends on the scenarios like whether your company deals in IT, Pharma, Oil etc.

Can anyone please tell me what are the Basic tools that are required for implementing SAP for a company? Also what is the most important factor that decides whether the company requires SAP or not?

Tools are not mandatory for implementation. Depends on volume of project and project requirement this will be decided. There are so many tools available for SAP implementation and normally solution manager will be used and there are some more tools loke ecatt & QTP for testing.
What are the modules are to be iplemented will be decided based on the type of industry.

What are the major issues in implementation SAP CRM sales and CIC.

We are newly implanting the project to the mobile Manfaturing Company. Our Clint is going for are looking to implement the CIC interaction center win Clint and the Sales modules of CRM .
We have some 3rd parry raw data with us with that raw data we are calling to the customers and we want create the opportunity in the CIC after that we will convert the opportunity as a sales with our other sales people. After that they will sale that product to that customers.
We have the back end of the R/3 SD, MM modules implemented for Clint.
Now 1) I want to know after implementation what are the major issues will come in the project normally for the conman Sales and CIC Win Clint projects kindly give the some issues normally come and solutions for the problems also.
My motto is that if I know the issues I can make preparation for that conman issues and I will make my project with good effective and smooth running ..

hi prakesh,
firstly, cic winclient is an older version and obsolete so its better to implement the new crm version.
secondly, in any case if you want to implement, then your 3rd party raw data has to be mapped with the SAP system which could be a problem. Middleware could be a lot of effort. Rest all depends on how much customization you need for your business requirement in cic and sales. In case you are implementing standard functionality mostly then no major complications are expected otherwise lot of development effort may be required.

User is getting email delivery failure when processing via SAP as it tries to send an email to a user who have left the company

Hi Experts,
I need to remove a name on a group list in Outlook as the user is getting email delivery failure when processing via SAP (He sends the invoice for approval and emails get sent to different users for approval.) One of those users has left the company and so the user gets a email delivery failure error.
How do I remove this user who is no longer with the company?
The user is saying: When I approve an invoice in SAP it sends an email notification through outlook. One of those users is no longer with the company so it cannot deliver the notification, and in return send a delivery failure (in outlook). I am approving the invoices from my SAP Workplace inbox.
How do we know what group the email is going to?
Please let me know if you have seen this issue before. Greatly appreciate your help.

Please check whether you are using a custom z program for sending emails of approved invoices to users. If yes then either the user email ids are hardcoded in the program else a ztable is maintained for them.

I developed add-on which was working fine in SAP B1 8.82, recently we upgraded to SAP B1 9.0 PL8, SQL Server 2012.
So recompiled source code with SAP B1 9.0, but now at this line
SAPbobsCOM.Recordset sRecSet=(SAPbobsCOM.Recordset)oCompany.GetBusinessObject(BoObjectTypes.BoRecordset);
getting the error "You are not connected to the company"
1. Deleted SM_OBS_DLL folder from the temp folder
2 Re installed Client
none of them is worked.
please help me out to resolve this issue.

plz check it here..
here b1-local-machine one folder is there..
open the file and check..
search for
"LicenseManager"
if your sys is server your server name should be there
otherwise..
from which server u r accessing that servername u have to enter...

Is there any SAP transaction code,to view the all expenses received from the company?For an example,I have received conveyance,medical,LTA etc.on vouchers.Now,I want to see the received on which date I have taken.

I guess this information you will get in following reports ( put appropriate cost center )
Transaction Codes KSB1, KSB2, KSBP, KSB5
Also check Accounting-> controllong-> Cost center accounting-> Info system-> Reports for cost center accounting-> line items/more reports.
