Do a malware check with a few malware scan programs.
You need to use all programs because each detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database.

  • I can't keep the web page zoomed out, after I click a link or go to a differnet page, it goes back to being zoomed in, what can I do to keep it that way?

I went to the toolbar, clicked on View, then Zoom, then Zoom Out. It does Zoom Out, but after I click a link or go to another web page, it Zoom's right back in. How do I keep it Zoomed Out where I want it permanetly?

  • Replacing Web Page

I have a PDF Document that was linked and I need to update
it. Can not edit in Contribute. I would like to just replace the
web page with updated. Named the new PDF file the same name and
although it indicated that it was replacing - the same page comes
up. I hate to just delete as then with get the message that the
page link is not good and it comes up as one of the top hits in
    google.

write down the file name, delete the pdf and remove the link
    to it.
edit the page, add the link to the pdf, and upload the page
    and the pdf file
OR- if you are saying the word "updated" isn't showing when
    the page is
viewed in a browser, try hitting the reload/refresh button in
    the broswer,
or go into internet settings and dump the browser cache.

  • Verizon Web Pages (unable to view)

I can not view media or web pages related to ringtones/ringback tones...anyone else having this problem now?

    Hello sweetness7408,
I would like to make sure you are able to access the content available through the Verizon Media Store. Are you receiving a specific error message? Does this only happen when using the Safari browser?  I would suggest clearing the cookies within your browser. From Home screen press Settings>Safari> Clear Cookies and Data. Also, confirm JavaScript is turned on. I am available to troubleshoot further, if needed. I look forward to hearing from you.

  • IPad 1 keeps dropping web pages especially newspapers.  How do I fix it?

Help!  My iPad 1 is a year and a half old.  Recently it has started to frequently drop web pages or apps, especially news sites.  I went to apple store and they did a reboot of my system that brought it back to factory settings.  It has been a little better since then but still drops much more than it did when it was new.  Very annoying.  It seems like it can't load the page quickly enough so it drops everything.  Do I have some kind of virus? I hesitate to reboot it all over again because all I did was lose and mess up the apps that I had on the iPad before. (that is another problem as some apps are gone but I can't download them again as the apps store thinks they are already installed on the machine). please help

    1. Double-click the Home button to see all Inactive Apps
    2. Hold the Apps down for a second or two until you see the minus sign
    3. Tap the minus sign to close App
    4. Reset iPad. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 second until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the red slider
Note: If the above does not work, you may need to backup and setup as new

  • Need to keep enlarging web pages; including home page. Used "NoSquint" It is working Great. Many Thanks

All web sites needed to be continually enlarged. NoSquint 2.1.2 fixed it!

So I decided to only have the index.html in the root and created folders for the other pages to clean it up, and just dropped the pages in the folders.
    How did you move pages?
Each page is linked to the other pages and when you move pages up and down the folder hierarchy (from folder to folder) all the link references in the page code changes.
If you always move files using the Files panel in Dreamweaver then Dreamweaver will handle the link updating in all pages automatically and your pages will work OK.
    PeterCote wrote:
Do I need to keep all my website pages in root directory?
Way better to arrange your files and folders logically so they're organized. Makes maintenance much easier.
Just ensure that you use the DW Files panel to move files and folders around at all times so the links are updated.

  • Can I save multiple web pages for offline viewing?

I'm just about to head off on a big trip and there's a great travel website that I'd like to save.
I dimly remember in the early 2000s it was possible to save an offline version of a webpage and specify how many depths of links also to save, i.e. you could save a page, all the linked pages on that page, all the linked pages on those linked pages and so on.
I'd really like to do that so I can access this website and one layer of (internal) links for offline viewing.
I'm on a Macbook Pro with 10.6.8 with Safari 5.1.10 (but can access a MB Air with 10.9.x if need be).
    Any help appreciated!

try the newer version, since the 10.6 one at least doesn't handle depth (limits : levels in the preferences) very sensibly for saving webpages.

  • A previous web page I was viewing appeared unexpectedly for a second then displayed correct page.

    true story.
while teaching guitar to a 14 yr old student, I opened up safari to find lyrics for a song for us to learn.
typed in the name. Clicked and Looked at the first link on results page. Went back to results page. clicked on second link.
    played the song.
CLosed safari....well ...I hit the home button....didn't really turn off the app.
2 Minutes later, opened safari again for another song....
    and the screen
    is showing
an "image" I had viewed 6 hours before at home, for a full second then switched back to the
song page I was expecting to see.
this was a very...very ...awkward moment.

You might consider using a different browser for work than you do for....whatever else you use a browser for. I like iCab Mobile.

  • Want to add advertisment to my web page

Please look at website thesoba.com.  I'm new to website and DW building.  I want to add some adds to our website.  The Ebonite logo will stay there.  The two adds below will change every month depending on our sponsors for that tournament.  We want to add adds to the top and possibly some adds to the bottom.  What is the best way and how to do that.  I open to all suggestions.

  • How to keep a web page from expiring due to inactivity

i am doing an online school and taking a final exam but do not have time to finish it and i can not close it because i only get one submission, is there anyway i can keep the page from expiring while i am at work so i can finish it when i get home

I'm not sure I would trust it without testing first, but you could try using an add-on that stores your form input and can restore it if you lose the page and come back to it.

  • KEEP GETTING WEB PAGE ASKING TO  PURCHASE THE PRODUCT AFTER PURCHASING IT.

I  downloaded the trial version of adobe Photoshop elements 10 about 30 days ago.  After the trail period was over, I purchased the product.  But now whenever I want to use the program to edit a picture, by either:
clicking directly on the picture and choosing adobe photoshop elements under the option to "open with"
    OR
after opening the adobe photoshop program, clicking on "organize" and then clicking on "edit with photoshop 10",
I get the window that says my trial period has come to an end. It then gives the option to "buy" the product, which I already did or enter the serial number.  So when after I type the serial number in, and I check to be sure that it's typed correctly, I get an error message that says the serial number is invalid.
    SO WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?

I would recommend contacting our support team to have them validate your serial number.  For the best assistance, I recommend our chat support at http://adobe.ly/yxj0t6.  Our chat representatives can provide a personalized experience to resolve the issue you have described.

Obviously, as seen above, I'm doing something wrong or Live View does not do all the functions that Design View use to do.  I realize I can still access Design View in non-Fluid Grid Layout documents and that is my current work-around.  I copy from my Word file into Design View available in non-Fluid, then copy that code into my Fluid Grid Layout document, not real efficient use of my time.  And, even that work-around may not be available after the next upgrade.

Hans thank you for your reply and attention to this matter.  Moreover, with your steeped expertise I do not, in any fashion, intend to be flippant or capricious.
However, I do not believe the reply is on point since I'm not discussing the insertion of an HTML tag/element; but rather, the placing of complex formatted text into my various web pages.
Design View and  2014.1 Live View seem to serve different functions.  That is, Design View, for us, serves as a highly sophisticated HTML5 code generator that allows us to properly display complex formatted text that originally is created as a Word docx file.  As I noted in my original post, the complex formatted text from the Word file is then pasted into Design View and thus properly renders on the web page.  I invite you to try this yourself.  Simply copy my properly formatted text in my original post (that can be found at "Using Design View the web page rendered this way:") to a Word file, and it will retain the complex formatting, then copy that Word file text to both Design View and  2014.1 Live View files.  Please apprise me of your results.
Discussion has been had in at least two separate threads on the Design View disappearance in Fluid Grid.  In https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1597260 staff member Lalita wrote "It would be helpful for us if you list the issues you are seeing with fluid grid live view editing."  And in https://forums.adobe.com/message/6807088#6807088 staff member Subhadeep wrote "If you can list down the workflows you are trying while editing in Live View & the issues you are facing in doing so, it will help us understand what is amiss & suggest alternative workflows to do the same."  I believe I've pointed out issues when attempting to use Live View for functions or work flow that customarily had been done in Design View.
Being a CC subscriber, if someone can provide me with a workflow using other additional Adobe products to get my complex formatted text from Word ultimately to my Dreamweaver web page, be it an image insert or whatever, I would take the suggestions.
The difference in the coding of my example in my original post is as follows.
Code when using Design View is:
    <p><strong>Research &amp; Analytics Director</strong><br>

It is readily apparent that Design View is a much needed code generator in the Dreamweaver product.  Live View serves completely other, and needed, purposes.  Therefore, I still, after all the forum discussions, do not understand why Design View has been removed from Fluid Grid.
Again Hans thank you for your reply.  But unless I'm missing something, citation to the links you provided does not solve my problem.  And that problem is this: If Design View is on its way out and thus will be completely removed from Dreamweaver at some point, then how do I provide my information (i.e. complex executive job descriptions) on my website?
Apparently a vote is taking place https://forums.adobe.com/ideas/3922 on the issue of placing Design View back into Fluid Grid.  I do not understand why the need for two rather disjunctive functionalities are at the mercy of the democratic process.  These are matters of engineering principles not "town hall gatherings".
