Advice for maintaining laptop condition

I currently own a MSI GE60-2OE002 which has encountered two cases where the motherboard had to be replaced. The first involved the laptop not powering on at all and the second involved the power button blinking blue and orange with the fan working, but the screen remained black. I've had to RMA it twice which was a pain to do. As these two cases happened over a year apart I assume that I wasn't unlucky to get a bad motherboard replacement. How could I prevent this sort of damage to the motherboard from occuring? Any advice on how to better take care of this laptop would be appreciated.

Just take care of your laptop. That's really the best advice.
As far as the problems, I'll be honest, there has been a large number of users with issues with the GE and GS series of laptops. I cannot comment on what the underlying problems are, but I will say that I'm not surprised you ended up having issues. For whatever reason, the newer GE and GS laptops with the i7 4700 series CPU seem to have issues with a larger number of users than with the previous i7 3600 series CPU's.
Did you make a bad purchase? No, if you're happy with the laptop and it's performance, ultimately that is what matters. And keep in mind that MSI is NOT Dell/HP or even Asus, they do not charge a premium for their laptops. Because of that fact alone (ie you're getting a high performance laptop for cheaper than other companies), I would understand that you may not get the same HIGH QUALITY (that's sort of a joke given Dell/HP/Asus's record though).

Another situation --- Handling in Palletized charges per cbm or per pallet for a single customer
can somebody help me on this.
    Thanks,
    RR

    Hi,
    Scenario 1:
Go to VK11 tcode and Enter your KAD1 COndition Type.
Now maintain the Condition Record for your Customer.
    Scenario 2:
Go to VK11 tcode and Enter your KP00 COndition Type.
Now maintain the Condition Record for your Customer.
Note for Scnario 2: Please make sure for KP00, the field Plus/minus in Condition Type setting should be "A"  i.e the Surcharge. It is because the same condition Type can be used for Discount as well as for Surcharge.
The condition Type setting for KP00 can be done by going to V/06 tcode

  • TABLE for storing the condition type maintained in a RFQ

    Dear All ,
I am maintaining some condition types ( both at header & item level ) while creating a RFQ .
I want to know in which table can I find the condition types which I maintained for that particular RFQ.
I have tried searching EKKO with the following parameter
Purchasing Document No = RFQ No.
    Statu  = 'A'
and tried to retrieve the valuein KNUMV field , so that i can pass the value of KNUMV to table KONV and retireve the condition .
But KNUMV for document type 'A' ( RFQ ) is coming as blank for all the records.
    Requesting help on this .

    Hi,
Condition types are stored in KONP table. You can try linking tables  EKKO / EKPO with KONP with required fields to get the data stored.

  • Can we maintain diff tax codes for one tax condition type in creating CRs

    Hi Gurus,
Can we maintain diff tax codes for one tax condition type during maintaining of Condition Records. (Taxes)
For example in VK11 screen for different combination of tax classification for customer and tax classification for material and
tax codes like P0, P1, P2 etc. If so which tax code will be picked during creation of sales order? Pls help me........
    Regards.......Divakaran

    Hi Karan,
    Yes we can.
For example you have three tax code
    P0 -- 0% (Fully exempt)
    P1-- 5% (Half tax)
    P2 -- 10% (Full tax)
Now when you create the condition record then you have to create the three condition record for one condition type
    MWST
Country -- tax classification of customer -- tax classification of material -- Tax % -- Tax code
    IN  -
    >  0 (Tax exempt) -
    > 1 (Full tax) -
    > 0 -
    >  P0
    IN  -
    > 1 (half Tax ) -
    >1  (Full tax) -
    > 5% -
    >  P1
    IN  -
    > 2 (Full Tax ) -
    > 1 (Full tax) -
    > 10% -
    >  P2
    Hope it helps,

  • Upload & Maintain price conditions

    Dear Gurus,
I need to create a program to upload and maintain different condition prices, some of the with scales.
    LSMW is not an option.
Acording to OSS note 1135984 there are only two posibilities
1- Use  the standar report RV14BTCI. The idea that I have for this is create a Z-program to read the file from local drive and then save into the server folder and submit RV14BTCI.
2 - IDoc message type COND_A. I have no idea how to implement the Idoc in a Z-program.
From my point of view, the IDoc solution is more powerful and flexible but I don't know how to use it in a Z-program and what I should customize for that.
I would like to ask you different things
1- Your experience and advices about to upload prices conditions
2- How to use the IDoc in a program.
    Thank you very much,
    Manuel

    Hi,
Std BDC RV14BTCI is a good option.
You can create BDC/LSMW's at different condition levels and upload it using tcodes VK11/MEK1, etc.
Check out the following links which will give you some idea on BAPI's and also Idoc options.
