Advice re: sim card data recovery for MacBook Pro?

Looking for a "safe" program download for MacBook Pro to retrieve info from an old Blackberry Sim card.
Anyone have experience with this that they'd like to pass along?

I want to purchase a mini data projector for my MacBook Pro. Does anyone have a recommendation of what I should look for in a projector or what would work with my MacBook? Is a MacBook a VGA display? I want a data projector that is very sharp. Any suggestions?

Data Recovery for Macbook Air when repair efforts failed

My computer is unable to boot and stays on the gray screen. I've tried to repair my computer with every method up to disk utility but nothing will work, so I want to back up my computer if possible before reinstalling the software. I don't use time machine, so I was wondering if there is a way to do it by external hard drive.

There are several ways to back up a Mac that is unable to fully boot. You need an external hard drive to hold the backup data.
1. Boot into Recovery (command-R at startup) or from a local Time Machine backup volume (option key at startup.) Launch Disk Utility and follow the instructions in the support article linked below, under “Instructions for backing up to an external hard disk via Disk Utility.”

If you have access to a working Mac, and both it and the non-working Mac have FireWire or Thunderbolt ports, boot the non-working Mac in target disk mode by holding down the key combination command-T at the startup chime. Connect the two Macs with a FireWire or Thunderbolt cable. The internal drive of the machine running in target mode will mount as an external drive on the other machine. Copy the data to another drive. This technique won't work with USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth.

3. If the internal drive of the non-working Mac is user-replaceable, remove it and mount it in an external enclosure or drive dock. Use another Mac to copy the data.

Data recovery off macbook pro hard drive

My macbook got wet and is dead. Does anyone know how I can get the data off the hard drive?

Provided the drive itself wasn't damaged, you should be able to remove it from the MBP, insert it in an external 2.5" SATA drive enclosure and attach (usually USB or Firewire) to another Mac to read the files.
If you're not sure how to physically get your drive out, start at iFixit.

Today, after it happened twice in 12 hours, someone told me to reset - i thought they meant reset all settings, not network settings. while in the middle of resetting, there was an invalid SIM card again. so a few questions - which should i do first? try to manually back up from itunes (not connected to cloud - will be after tonight!), or eject SIM card? don't know if one will jeopardize the other. also, the last time i backed up was 6 days ago - have taken hundreds of pics since then - are those all lost? is there a way to essentially not reset? i thought the reset was okay because it said i'd lose no data or media. I have done that and it is definitely on. My husband has the exact same phone and I upgraded his IOS at the same time, but this problem is not happening to his phone (we are also on the same plan, so our service should be the same). Our settings appear to be identical and my phone is showing the 3G symbol at the top, so I can't understand why it won't access the network.
I've turned it on and off twice and have reset all settings with my iTunes account, but it still isn't working.
I'm not a complete idiot with this sort of stuff - I have tried all the obvious things.

Unless you transfer the files from Setup Assistant, Migration Assistant creates a new user with the data.
To transfer the files to your first user, you have to log on this new user, and copy all your files to /Users/Shard folder. This is a folder where you can put the files you want to share between two or more users, and all users can read and write in it.
After copying the files, go to your first user, open /Users/Shared folder, and copy the files to your user folders. If you migrated applications, you must know that they are stored in a common folder (/Applications), so you don't have to transfer them. To open /Users/Shared folder, open Go menu (in the menu bar) > Go to Folder, and type the folder
