Advise needed in regard to iCloud storage 5GB
Can anyone please advise me in regard to the iCloud storage of 5GB:
I have 2 devices using iCloud: iPad and iPhone.
iCloud has said to me it is almost full and I really am not sure why? I have deleted all music from the 2 devices, hoping this would free up a lot of space. But this did not seem to improve the space level very much.
I have on the devices: No music. A few apps. Alot of podcasts. No videos. 40 photos. Not many documents.
I have looked at the backups for the devices: iphone: 2.3GB and iPad 2.1GB. So, this explains to me what is causing the 'full' limit almost being reached.
So, I still would like to take my music with me when I travel. At the moment, in order to do this I have cancelled using iCloud on my iPad. But was this the right thing to do? Should I only have one device using iCloud?
Any advise would be appreciated. Thank you
Removing music from your devices won't remove it from iCloud. The music stays there in case you want to download it again.

No. iTunes match does not use your icloud storage. Match scans your library to determine which tracks are matched or uploaded.

You can cancel an iCloud storage upgrade but only within 15 days of buying:
Apple seem to have made this as difficult as possible. You may be able to do this using http://expresslane.apple.com - click 'See all products and services', then 'More Products and Services, then 'iCloud', 'Account and setup' then 'This topic is not listed'. Explain the situation in the box provided and wait for a response - include a phone number. However you may find you cannot proceed without entering a hardware serial number which is still eligible for AppleCare.
In that event you will need to phone them directly, using the Apple Online Store number given at the bottom of this page. The first person you speak to may tell you to do it from the iCloud website but this is not possible. Politely insist on escalating the issue to a more senior person and eventually you should be able to get through to someone who can deal with this (you may have to wait for them to call you back) - you will be asked security questions and for part of your credit card number to identify yourself.
If it is more than 15 but less than 45 days you may be able to get a partial refund by the same method.
If it is more than 45 days since you purchased the storage you cannot cancel it for a refund; you can downgrade your plan as from your next renewal date. Please see

Your call will initially be handled by a first level technical person, but he will have to refer you to a senior advisor because they are the only ones who can issue a refund.

As far as I know, with "My Passport" you are referring to one of the Western Digital external drives. Is this correct? In that case, you are backing up to the external drive, not iCloud, because you can't back up a Mac on iCloud.
You don't need more iCloud storage if you are plenty of free space in it. Open System Preferences > iCloud, and check how much free storage you have. In general, if you are only using iCloud on a Mac, you don't need more iCloud storage, so you can keep the 5 GB storage -

How much do u have to pay After purchasing an iCloud storage for 1 year ? Is it the same amount for every year ( £14, £28 or £70) or just for the first year , and then u pay like £5 a year as a continuation?

if for example I have palyed some game on my ipad, then getting forward in game's levels. then after that I will download the same game in my iphone, will I be able to play the game form the same spot or the last save of this (game I have played first in my ipad? ) and of course the opposite around?

iCloud is nothing to do with your music content, that is handled by iTunes. If any of the content was purchased from the iTunes store, you can re-download it to any device from the purchased section in the store at the music app on your iOS device. -
