AE 5.2 Request List Issue - Requests in list aren't mine

I have an interesting problem and am not sure where to begin looking for a solution. AE is working properly, workflows are going fine. I'm not a role approver and I haven't setup my user ID anywhere else within AE (Stages, etc.). Despite this, when I log into AE, I have a large number of requests waiting for approval/rejection. Upon closer examination, I still can't find any reason as to why I have this option, since my user ID isn't associated with these requests.
Please let me know your thoughts.

Just in case someone comes across this thread.
In this forum it is commonly noted that the "Security" approver determinator looks for the UME role "AESecurity".
This is not correct for SP 15 in any case. In our implementation, we are not using the default roles. The request is sent to whoever has the corresponding UME action CreateSAPUser".

Hi folks
We had some trouble with my daughter's phone and she signed into the absoluitely awful iTunes on her phone using my account (I can't wait to get a Samsung myself and do away with iTunes).
As a result, for updates to the iiTunes store, it is now asking (on my phone) for HER ID details to update MY apps on MY phone. However, when I sign into iTunes or anything Apple it recognises my own sign in. However, I cannot update anything because the phone keeps asking foe her sign-in.
Any of you good people had this before? If so, how do I get my iPhone to ask for MY sign in ID details when updating and not to ask for my daughter's sign-in ID details as it is doing now.

Cannot figure out why my bullet lists aren't correctly aligned

I hope someone can help me on this because I'm totally lost. I've spend hours trying to figure out where the problem comes from, reading posts on-line, searching documentation, etc. and I'm getting nowhere. I'm struggling with bulleted lists which just won't aligned correctly with text paragraphs. I would expect the bullet to be horizontally aligned with previous/next paragraphs and the list text to be indented so that the bullet stands out to the left. Kind of almost the default one gets when creating a simple <ul> list without any formatting.
This problem can be seen here. The bullets are outside their div. I've tried using "list-type-position: inside" on <ul> and/or <li>—this gets the bullets back inside the div but then the text isn't properly indented with respect to the bullet.
I assume I've got some CSS precedence problem, but I can't find out where it is. I've validated my code with Dreamweaver CS4 + browser compatibility check. There are some issues left which I'm working on, but as far as I understand they shouldn't be related to this list problem. The only other parts where I'm using unordered lists are the top and side menus, but I've used explicit descendant selectors (I think) to avoid spreading my styling to other elements. Where am I wrong??
I'm still new to HTML/CSS and learning, so be tolerant with my mistakes! I'm aware that I still have got tons to learn.

Have you tried giving your ul a left margin with css,
e.g.
ul {
margin-left: 1em;
You can also use negative values to move it the other way.

Issue with path reference in apex.min.css file using Theme 25

Hi all.
I upgraded recently to Apex 4.2.1.00.08 and my existing applications had been working fine. I then thought I'd changed the theme to Theme 25 as it was a new one available to me. This was fine and the application works well however I wanted to test a change to the css so I copied the apex.min.css file and renamed it as apex.min_copy.css. I made my small change, which was just a change to the background colour of the table in apexir.WORKSHEET. I then uploaded this through the shared components and referenced it in my header using
#WORKSPACE_IMAGES#apex.min_copy.cssI also commented out the referenced to #APEX_CSS# in the header so it would use my uploaded copy and not be overridden.
When I then ran the application again, it prompted me for the xdb username and password. I tracked this down to lines in the css file where the relative path to an image in the file was like ../ws/image_name
For example:
background-image : url(../ws/report_bg.gif);I took these lines out, uploaded again and it was fine and my change was visible, meaning that the #WORKSPACE_IMAGES#apex.min_copy.css was being read correctly. I can also browse the location of these files on the xdb database using a browser connected a system and I can see the files where i expect them to be.What I cannot understand is how other references to images in this css file such as
background : url(../apex/builder/dev-bar.png) 0 0 repeat-x transparent;
background-image : url(../htmldb/builder/builder_find_bg.png);do not cause an issue but the one mentioned earlier(/ws) does
I hope someone has an idea .

Mark,
Modifying the default files is dangerous and ill advised. You could always just add a style sheet (inline or linked) to your application that overrides that one setting while you wait on the permanent fix.

I have had that issue with no text alert sound and also with calls, no ring for the call but then I got a missed call or voicemail alert. Never had the blurry lines though. Right after I upgraded, the ring changed to a very short version of what I have selected and only rang once, other times not at all. This was a very big problem since I am working from my car most of the day and get a lot of calls and texts. I did a reset with home button and button on the top as described in a post somewhere here on the forum and the problems stopped. So far so good. Give reset a try!

Issues syncing iPhone 5 and iPad mini with outlook calendars

I am having issues syncing my iPhone 5 and iPad mini with Outlook calendar. This is a new problem since I upgraded to IOS 7. I am now using ios 7.0.2. I have removed air sync for calendars and that has not resolved the issue. Nothing new on my calendar is syncing to my phone or ipad. Any suggestions?

PMU issue/ external hard drives aren't recognized

I've got a similar problem to an earlier post by CMORTON. My G4 has been acting up...it'll state that the time is set incorrectly and then my external hard drives won't be recognized when I plug them in. A couple of days ago I tried resetting the PMU, and that worked for a few days, but the issue has cropped up again. Any idea what I might try next?

SPP Bluetooth devices not listed in Mac mini

Hi,
We're developiong Bluetooth supported hardware. the hardware supports bith SPP & iAP.
Works fine on any iOS device (iAP protocol)
Works fine (SPP) on an old Mac mini machine.
Works fine (SPP) on any android device.
But, on a new Mac mini machine the device won't even get listed in the Bluetooth devices list.
Old Mac mini (Device is working perfect):
OS X 10.6.8
1.83 GHz
Intel Core 2 Due
New mac mini (Device is not detected):
OS X 10.8.4
2.3 GHz
Intel Core i5

Issues with external drive on Mac Mini / Lion

I'm using an external SATA drive in a Newer Technologies Voyager dock (which I like to call the "toaster") with a brand new Mac Mini i5 2.3G via FW800.
The drive was formatted using Disk Utility on a G4 running Tiger (10.4.11)
With the drive mounted, the Mini's performance seems to slow down, and it randomly dismounts the drive, with the usual warning, "you disconnected your drive without dismounting it first, bla bla...)
I think I remember when Leopard was new, there was a firmware issue that had to be dealt with, and when moving drives from OS 9 to X and back to 9, I lost access to the data on the drive.
I'm also aware of the partitioning scheme difference when formatting drives for use on the Intel machines.
Could either of the above have anything to do with the problem I'm having here?

I'm not an expert in this, but as far as I know, GUID only comes into play if you want to boot from it, but...... you never know, it could - here is an excerpt from Disk Utility:
If you’ll be using the disk only with Mac computers, choose GUID Partition Table.
Another thought is: how old is that drive? All hard drives fail sooner or later - have you tried to check it with Disk Utility or something like Disk Warrior?

Connectivity Issue Between MacBook Pro and Mac Mini

I have a MacBook Pro and a Mac Mini both with Yosemite 10.10.2, I've never had any issues with them sharing a connection when I was home, (I've never been able to connect outside of my home network) but I use the Mini to backup my MacBook Pro, but has of February 11th my MacBook Pro doesn't see my Mac Mini no matter what I do. I can share the screen from the Mini to the Book Pro but I can't remotely access the Mini from the MacBook Pro. I've turned off Back to My Mac on both Macs and removed it from my Airport Extreme and re-entered all of the information. I signed out of iCloud on both Macs and signed back in. I haven't changed any settings at all before I lost the connection, I am not sure how to resolve this issue.

Lists aren't accessible when accessed intranet zone URL

It is difficult to explain but let me try. We have intranet SharePoint server environment [architecture - 2 web servers, 1 search server and 1 database server].
We have AAM settings where only intranet zone is specified. Let’s say, SharePoint server default zone is available @
http://abc-share-web1 and in intranet zone, we have specified
http://sharepoint.company.com
Now, we have been informed that database server has been changed [changed means all database moved to new server and alias has been used to redirect to new SQL server] and after the change all custom code applications have stop working. Only exception appearing
in the logs is “object reference not set to an instance of an object”.
We dig it and found out that when we access SharePoint server using URL http://sharepoint.company.com, lists with unique permissions are not accessible. When we access SharePoint server using URL
http://abc-share-web1, lists with unique permissions are accessible and custom code applications work fines. Yes, user in both cases is same.
We don’t have any info regarding SQL server other than what has been “informed”. Nothing changed at DNS level. Nothing changed in AAM settings.

couple of things you should do,
as its your production farm so please plan it accordingly.
1) clear config cache.
or
2)reset IIS on all servers
or
3) detach the content Db and reattach it.

Scrolling issues on "IPod touch" and "IPad mini"

I have a public website in SharePoint Office 365.
With mobile redirect off, the vertical scrolling on IOS devices are very slow. This is not the case with my Samsung notepad phone.
My question is: are there rendering and scrolling issues with IOS devices with SharePoint.

The most common problem you will find using SharePoint 2010 in Google Chrome is the missing scrollbar. This issue can be easily solved by replacing 1 line of code. Yes,
ONE line.
Step 1
In the Master page, look for this:
