AE can't find a standard plug-in

I'm trying to use the curves.aex plug-in for my project. When I drag it to a layer I'm working on, I get one of two errors. Sometimes I get an "After effects error: invalid filter" error, sometimes I get an error indicating curves.aex could not be loaded.
I can see the curves.aex file in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects CC\Support Files\Plug-ins\Effects. Does this mean that curves.aex is corrupt? All the other effects in that folder can be found and used.

No, I'm dragging it from the Effects and Presets folder, which is why the other effects are able to be used. If i was dragging it from the folder on my Applications drive it wouldn't only not work with one single effect.

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770K CPU @ 3.90 GHZ
32 GB of memory
64 bit OS.
PS. I'm a fairly experienced AE user, been using it for about a year now. This problem only first arose when i started working on my new computer.

You have permissions issues on the respective folders, e.g. Windows\System32\Color and so on. Fix them and allow all apps to access the contents.

Can't find the standard infoobject/infocube in BW system

I have studied BI for only 2 months. When I try to extract data from R/3 system, I find that I can't find the standard Infoobject/infocube such as 0plant, 0purchaseorganize both in RSA5 and RSA6. Our basis team advice me to install a patch for my SAP gui. So could anybody tell me which patch should I install

Do we need install datasource at frist,then go to RSA1-> click on BI Contenct button on left -> click ........
If yes,how does i know which datasource need be install;
for installing 0PLANT - go to RSA1-> click on BI Contenct button on left -> click on object types -> Expand infoobject -> click on select objecst and clifk on find and type 0PLANT and click on transfer selections

Get error "Safari can't find the Internet plug-in"

I get error when I tried to open a Potcast on IBM's website in Safari 5 for Windows 7
"Safari can't find the Internet plug in. Some content on the page "IBM Cloud Computing - idea - United States - United States' Can't be shown because its MIME type is unspecified.
I checked these settings
-Plug-ins enabled in edit\preferences\security
-Java enabled in edit\preferences\security
-JavaScript enabled in edit\preferences\security
-Quick Time Player 7.6.6 is installed and works
-Potcast works on Google and IE. Note: IE prompted for MIME type configuration, clicked Yes and Potcast worked.
I tried to search the web for answer but couldn't find solution for this error.
I checked Apple's forum and didn't find anything so Please help.

If so, I can replicate the effect on my XP SP3 box (running Safari 5.0).
A bit odd, because it just looks to be a QuickTime plugin when I click on it in IE.
The W3C Markup validation service doesn't like the code on that page much:

If it is a standard Script Output see that all config in NACE tcode was done correctly and in the Application document the output type was properly defined and attached to a medium, partner and all communication related things like printer name, when to print the output and number of messages etc are entered in the document
the go to the related application Tcode
(for sales order goto VA02 or VA03)
(delivery -VL02N or VL03N)
for Invoice VF02 or VF03
for PO -goto ME9F
enter doc number, Issue Output to -> screen/printer
then see the output
step 1 : copy the z layout into testing client thru SCC1.
step2 : go to se71 and check modified layout.
step3 : if it is under logistics.. go to TCODE "NACE".
u will see various applictions for each business process.
there u have configure ur related layout according to requirments,
for example u consider for Request fo Quatation..
there is APPLICATION called "EA"
click and enter into it. configure it with ur requirments, for help consult with ur functonal consaltant, and save it.
step 4 : goto tcode ME9A for requst for quatation(RFQ).
step 5 : enter test data avalable and check it with message display.
it is same for other applications like Contract agreament --> ME9k
invoice --> vl02n
and goes on..

Where can I find the ducker plug-in?

This may seem kind of lame, but I can't find the Logic "Ducker" plug-in anymore. I swear I was just seeing it as an option on the insert channel > dynamics list. I wonder if I deleted it by accident. I know how to do side-chain compression but I was wanting to try the ducker to see what it could do differently or better.

I tried FireFox and it stated: additional plugins are required to display all the media on this page.
but it had a button: Install Missing Plugins...
after I pressed this button a window came up showing I needed: Flip4Mac 2.1
so I pressed continue to install:
Conclusion...... No plugins were installed then it said Flip4Mac 2.1 Not Available.....
but gave me another button for manual install..........help.

I have "block pop up windows" off (safari preferences). The bottom line is I can't open PDF documents as a link from a web page. Do you have any idea why this may be occurring?

Is there a way to get rid of this warning without having to install the required plugin?

It's flash. I moved the plugin in the /library/internet plugins/ folder to a separate folder.
I find flash ads annoying and I use a separate browser to view flash content, when I need to.
I've tried other things. I've tried using the disable plug-ins option. I still want to use the other plugins. I don't want to use input-manager hacks such as saft and the like.
The only other option is to use clicktoflash. Not the best option since I still get gradient boxes that say flash on them (I'd rather have empty space). But if I can't get rid of the pop-up warnings I'm going to be using this.

Where can I find reporting standards?

I'm new to xml publisher. Do we have any standards for formatting normal reports (ie. not forms). We should have standards for including logos (ie. oracle, peoplesoft etc), layouts for headers and footers, naming conventions for the reports, etc. Does anyone know where I can find this information?

Macbook can't find ipad when plugged in

Ipad not showing up on macbook when plugged in.
iTunes could not connect to the iPad “Renee's iPad” because the device timed out.
The ipad is open and is being charged by the macbook but doesn't show up in finder

Thanks. It turns out that since I had received this printer as a cast-off from the office, it was still config'd with the old IP info. Once I set it for remote configuration (enabling something called "BOOTP" in the TCP/IP config sub-menu), I printed off the status page to find that all the addresses (IP, subnet, gateway) were "unspecified" with 0.0.0.0 values. But when I went back into the printer config menu, disabled BOOTP, and looked at the IP address, I saw that the printer had rec'd a new IP address (10.0.1.5) from the AEBS, I presume (I confess that I am by no means an experienced networker). I reprinted the status page to confirm the 10.0.1.5 IP, then I used that IP to install the printer on the PC via the method you suggested and everything works fine, thanks! One concern for future use, though. Is it possible that if the printer, AEBS, or PC are powered off and restarted, that the IP address of the printer will be changed by the AEBS and I will be unable to print to it? Since IP assignment by the AEBS is dynamic (right?), will this affect future printing? Something to do with DHCP renewal?
