AE cs 7 / cc / or what is next confusion
I'm bit confused.
Could someone summorise for me what comes after AE CS6 and what is the difference? (not in functionality, but usage)
Will there be CS7 update, I'll be able to patch over my CS6 and keep on using it, or do I have to use that cloud thing now? Which (if I get it right) requires internet connection and regular fees?

After Effects CS6 is version 11 of the application. The current release is version 11.0.4.
Version 12 of After Effects is branded as After Effects CC. The current release is version 12.2.1.
Version 13 of After Effects is branded as After Effects CC (2014). The current release is version 13.0.0.
All of the above versions are included with a subscription to Creative Cloud. They will install as separate applications, and can all be present and running on the same machine at the same time.

iTunes and iCloud and different accounts, you will need to delete both accounts from your device before adding the new details in their place.
For iCloud go to settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit the delete button. You can then sign back in using your correct details. For iTunes go to settings >store, tap your account ID and then sign out, you can then sign back in using your correct Apple ID. -

We cannot help with self-repairs here, the iPhone officially not user servicable, but you can ask for advice in the forums on ifixit.com, a site which is dedicated to those attempting their own repairs.

My ipod touch thinks headsets are plugged in as indicated when pressing volume control. We did a reset but that did not work. What is next?
- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so. There is a little switch in the headphone jack that disconnects the speaker when the headphone jack is inserted.
Try the following to rule out a software problem
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. Seems you have a bad headphone jack.

If not under warranty Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price. They do not fix yours.

I'm sorry I wasn't clear... I have new iPad but when I'm trying to activate the FaceTime with my Apple ID it will not let me do it ( I'm getting the message "an error occurred during activation. Try again" )
I went through all the troubleshooting but it still doesn't work. I will mention my FaceTime on my phone works fine and the same was with my old iPad

We were able to get everything running the way 'twas intended,

I just sync'd my brand new ipod Nano with my laptop PC running Windows 7, and loaded all my audiobooks. They show up on the Nano's screen, but when I select one I hear nothing. The earphones work fine when connected to another unit. What's next?
I'm ok with having to resync everything once she gets home but it concerned me when you said it would, again, wipe everything once I plugged it in here. I don't care about having to reload music, contacts, & apps from here, but I would rather not lose all the pictures that she took while she was gone. If we did decide to go the whole start-over-from-scratch route on her end while she is there, could the loss of pictures be adverted if she created a backup of her phone, copied the backup to a USB drive, & brought the backup file home with her so I could restore it from here? When I plug my phone into another computer, I can open it through My Computer & copy the pictures; could I do that when she gets home before I allow iTunes to open & wipe everything again?
I guess the other option would be to just have her just copy all of the pictures onto a USB drive before she comes home, I'm just curious if it's possible to restore everything if she just brings the backup file home.

What happens is whenever a credit limit for a customer is approved, the date on which it is approved becomes the last review date and then this limit is approved for a certain period, the date on which its validity is going to end or a day before that depending on your business requirements becomes the next review date, i.e. on that particular date again that customer's credit limit is reviewed as to whether to maintain the same limit or there is a need to make any changes to it.........
This date has nothing to do with static or dynamic checks, i.e it is not dependent on them......
The effect of mantaining this is whenever there is a credit check for a customer, it'll check these dates, if the next review date is in past, that limit is not effective for that customer.....

Perhaps try downloading and saving a copy of the installer to a different PC. (If you're on a 32-bit Windows system, try to download on a different 32-bit Windows system.) Copy the iTunesSetup.exe installer to an external hard-drive, or a large-enough thumb drive or burn it to a CD-R. Carry the installer back to your PC, copy the installer to your hard drive. (Don't run the install from the ExHD, thumb or CD-R.) Start the install by doubleclicking the iTunesSetup.exe file.

T400s, 4th depot return, what's next?
So, I have this T400s.... 2808-C5U WinXP Pro SP3
The Ericsson F3507g factory installed WWAN card has now "disappeared" from the system configuration yet again. After exhaustive work with the Lenovo Depot support folks, I'm returning the machine to them, for repairs, again.
If this were a car, California State Consumer Protection Law would allow me to return the unit and get a full refund via the LEMON LAW. I know the poor CSR's and Techs at the Lenovo can't really do anything but keep replacing the WWAN card, motherboard, and other components ad infinium, but I'd like to actually USE the laptop someday.
How do I get through to Lenovo? What's next? How do I escalate? I paid $1,400 about 6 months ago for this turd and its various extras (dock, AC/DC, extended warranty) and I'm just about done with it. I'll know more in 48hrs as the machine ships out today.

sorry to hear about your experience so far, I can imagine how frustrating this must be.
You can escalate by simply telling the service centre that you wish to escalate and create a complaint, the service agent should then be in a position to register your complaint and start the ball rolling. The process will take about three days resulting in you being contacted about your complaint. the key word is complaint.
I hope the above information helps you, but I would like to add the following in case this may be a factor;
I don't work for Lenovo, but I am a Thinkpad Reseller and recently experienced a case where one of my customers experienced similar problems as yourself, but not exactly the same. (Like I said; may be a factor). The sytem in question was an X200 tablet, WWAN worked and then stopped working.
The customer contacted support which resulted in his WWAN card being replaced, but alas this was not the solution. They then replaced the mainboard which again did not solve the problem. At this point the customer was to say the least a little angry, (I would have been too as the X200T isn't a cheap system). They contacted me with the intention of returning the system which they were well within their rights to do.
Fortunately for me, in this case at least, I have known the customer for several years and there were no personal bad feelings towards one another and they were happy for me to "play" with their notebook for a day. Using spare hard drives I restored the system to factory, WWAN didn't work I restored the system with another OS, WWAN didn't work It was not looking good, for me
Having thought about the problem for a little while I realised that there was one hardware component which had not been replaced, namely the SIM card. I tried a different SIM card and lo and behold everything worked I can only assume that somewhere along the line the customer's SIM card caught a cold, dunno.
I am not saying that this is the problem in your situation, but have you tried swapping out the SIM card? My customer revealed, when he collected his system, that they had tried two other SIM cards, but they were all the same age as the one in the system - over two years old.
This all happened three weeks ago and I haven't heard from the customer since - no news is good news as I always say
