AE error - BACKWARDS TEXT
I'm using CS6 Production Premium and I opened my AE and the text is all entering backwards. Meaning as I type words in, the text goes from right to left, so in order for me to spell something correctly I have to spell the word backwards.
EXAMPLE: if I type the word royal, it comes in as layor.
Has anyone experienced this before? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I guess it is a normal format but my system seems to be unable to read binary plist ?
I tried some stuff with plutil
plutil -lint Info.plist
Info.plist: Unexpected character b at line 1
Same for convert
plutil -convert xml1 Info.plist
Info.plist: Property List error: Unexpected character b at line 1 / JSON error: JSON text did not start with array or object and option to allow fragments not set.
I also try to download a fresh version of the connectIQ SDK and no changes.
Any idea ?

Dear Experts,
I'm facing a typical problem. The regular data loads used to be fine. Since past 2 days, when the loads happen through the regular PCs, in some DSOs I find in the Datasource Name column DataSource Name and (No text Found),. The Sourcesystem column shows ERROR and the source system description shows ERROR(No text found). Although, the status of request loaded is green and is available for reporting. But in the next load it throws error saying the previous load is incomplete or improper.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

But there have been no changes whatsoever, in the source nor in the BI Models. And it is happening continuously for the 3rd day. When I delete and reload, it just works fine.

This error is referring to a file with the following contents:

This error occurs wherever there is a white space or a new line character in the contents of a tag! If I have the entire file on one line, then I do not get the error.
In the code above, I placed all the contents of the file on one line and just added one space character (it's right before <arg0 key="Note"/>), that character is causing the error and the stack trace shown above.
If I use an older version of struts.jar (i.e. place it in the domain's lib directory so that it's added to the classpath), then I don't have a problem with white space or new line characters.

Preflight detected errors - overset text (1)
Hi
I have copied / pasted text from a Word document and tried 2 ways to place it in my InDesign CS6 document
(1) putting copied text into a prepared text box
(2) using the 'text box' that 'came with' the copied text (enlarged to fit area)
each time the dreaded 'red box with a + ' sign inside appears on the rt. side of the 'finalised' text
and 1 error shows at the bottom which is the Preflight detected error - overset text
I have loads of other text in my document but none copied/pasted
Writing the text manually into the document is not an option in this case
Do I have to format it somehow? I would really appreciate a really simple A-Z step answer for this old gal

Id not then you can edit the styles to change the font (or, on the strong probability that the Word file doen't really use styles, you can use Find Font to replace it). if you do need Maori support, you should install a font that supports it, like Arial Maori, on the computer. ID uses any fonts installed normally for the OS (presuming they are not really badly made) or that are located in the private Adobe or InDesign fonts folders.

Chakrithe schema element for this field is having different datatype than what you are receiving the data. Can you check logs and see on which column it is failing? If we know the exact xsd datatype used for the element and and value that is stored in table then we can correct the xsd accordingly. Are you using dynamic sql query or select options to get values from DB.

The SD_WORD_PROCESSING function module is for creating the "Maintain
Text" dialog box. You have called up the function module with the wrong
values so it is not possible to edit text properly.

The only diff i noticed in the function module is single field is added extra in the changing parameters FCT_XTHEAD
FCT_XVBUV .

we have some very huge records in the table STXH and hence inserting / saving the records we get the I/O Error for Text VBBK. We are using Oracle 9.2.0.9.
Can you pls give me some suggestion interms of tuing the program or in terms of the tuning the table STXH.

Error code text file or Error ring, pros and cons of each
I'm looking for some community input on the pros and cons of using either the Error Code Text file, or the Error Ring for creating custom errors in an application. My question comes about as a result of this post.
I've used the Error Rings exclusively in the past to avoid the extra maintenance steps of bringing the text file along with the LV project and source control. I assumed the error information was simply converted to ring constant. But with my linked post above, I'm wondering how deep my mistakes may cut me.
Please weight in on this with pros/cons, , and any past experiences that may be helpful.Actually Hooovahh and Jeff are right. As you can see in that way you can prioritize the error that you need to read or in other case ignore. In the same time you can create the error that you want.

So you have to check these tables and find out the root cause of which text is creating problem.
