AE - Video Copyright [ Green Screen ]

When I am importing video footage in After Effect it goes green, I'm curious why it happens?
My friend said that it's because of Video Copyright. They are rendering this video so that no one can edit it
Can I set copyright to my video like this?

Thats not the case.
I have created my own material and want to protect it. I am asking that if somebody else created such protection on their video (I mean it is visible only as green screen while editing and I think its not only the problem of having a proper codecs) how has they done it? Can I do it? how?
I hope I have stated my question correctly and everything is clear. again , i repeat that I know that some of those videos needs proper codecs but some of them (even when u have a codecs) still appear as only green image and I think its a meter of copyright.
Thanks

  • Why are my burnt dvds showing either no video or green screens?

    I edit using Avid Media Composer 3.1.2. I usually burn dvds from iDVD, but I also have Final Cut Studio on my Mac. I recently tried to burn a wedding in HD to a dvd, but the dvd came out half compressed, with a green screen covering the lower portion of the dvd. I did some "googling" and downloaded some codecs and ensured that my energy saving settings were set to "Never". This made it so that I couldn't view any videos on my computer, regardless of resolution. I shot a play back in December, also in HD, and that came out on dvd fine, as I was able to burn 30 copies and all were fine. I also just finished another wedding and half of that footage was HD, and the dvds came out great. I have now wasted 10 dvds trying to get this wedding to work. I have started to use disk images instead, simply to cut back on wasted dvds. I have been going at this for a few days now and nothing seems to be working. The bride is becoming impatient and this has never happened before.
    I have tried many conversions and different formats. The original one (and the format that I most commonly use) is a Quicktime Reference. Quicktime keeps telling me to download a codec, but I can't seem to find anymore codecs.
    Format (According to Quicktime Movie Inspector): 16 Bit Integer (Little Endian), Stereo, 48.000 kHz, 'AVdn', 1920 x 1080, Millions

    AVdn is Avid's DNxHD codec .... you should be able to get it from the Avid website:

  • Video Blank / Green Screen on Android 2.3

    I developed an applications for Android 2.3 to stream video from http://live.twit.tv. The video plays correctly on about 90-95% of Android 2.2 devices but I've yet to see a 2.3 device play the stream correctly. The Nexus S plays the audio but the video shows up as a green screen. (Application built in Flash then exported with the Adobe Air 2.5 beta extension).
    Here's my stream info:
    Video:
    H2264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (avc1)
    720x480
    Framerate: 2.970029
    Audio:
    MPEG Audio layer 1/2/3 (mpga)
    Channels: Mono
    Sample rate: 44100 Hz
    Bitrate: 64 kb/s
    Not sure what's going on here or if I have any control over fixing it. Suggestions welcome.

    You can try a current nightly build of Firefox for android
    https://nightly.mozilla.org/
    There or some changes that might help.
    OR
    Uninstall Firefox , restart you phone and then again install Firefox from Google play. Don't download and install from other website.

  • Adobe FLash Player issues video playback green screen

    My laptop is a week old. I cannot get videos to properly play especially in Facebook. I also had trouble with you tube until I opened internet options... advanced.. and checked the first item that deals with software acceleration. Even after this Facebook videos continue to fail. This only cures the You Tube Videos, Facebook videos still do not play. Audio is there but total green screen.
    I have seen discussions about right clicking the video that wont play then uncheck "Enable Hardware Acceleration".  When I am in Facebook on a video that fails I right click and that option is not available in the box that pops up.If the video that fails is from you tube. I can select you tube in the control bar for the video and it plays fine. Non you tube videos do not play at all in Facebook.
    I decided to try Chrome. It had the same playback issues as IE except the video playback screen stayed black - but when I right clicked on the video the "enable Hardware acceleration"   choice was there, I unchecked this and videos now play on Facebook using Chrome.
    I prefer IE and want to fix the issue. Seems to me its Adobe since I do not have the Enable Hardware acceleration choice using IE.
    Anyone ever heard of this? At one point I went to Control panel to delete all history from Flash player and the icon is listed as 32 bit. my OS is 64 bit. Is this an issue?
    This is driving me nuts. Any help would be appreciated. "Just use Chrome" is not the response I am looking for. I want Adobe to work in IE

    Found a fix it appears. I found a page that said update adobe flash to windows 8.1. There was a link there.
    Installed that update and all appears to be working now.
    Funny thing is it appears this HP laptop came with a version of Windows that was 8.1 but the flash player version was still for Windows 8. All testing on adobe pages made it appear as if the flash player was installed correctly.
    Thank you for the response

  • Blank video and green screen back again when I post video on Facebook

    It doesn't offer that option. I have Windows 8.1 and this is the second time this happened. Support told me to go to tools, internet options and change Use software rendering instead rendering of GPU rendering. It worked. Now however, the setting is still the same and the video
    is blank and green on Facebook.

  • Can't install open office; youtube videos + green screen; using call HP Tech Support fails

    Can't install open office; youtube videos are green screen (audio ok); using call HP Tech Support fails (no reason given)
    1) Can't turn McAfee Livesafe off, and think it's what's keeping me from installing Open Office.  It downloads but can't install.
    2) At work on wireless guest,  youtube looks fine.  At home on ethernet through DISH satellite, it's green screen.  This is not he case with my older HP laptop connected to the same ethernet cable.
    3) Why is HP tech support rejecting me, after I type everything in?  If I ca't use it, don't make it an option!!!!  The forums were choice #2, so here I am ... make me proud ...
    Thanks everyone!!!!

    An alternative to OpenOffice would be KingsSoft Office, it performs better and still Free:
    http://www.kingsoftstore.com/
    McAfee products are problematic on some systems and suggest you uninstall it using their removal too then reboot:
    http://service.mcafee.com/FAQDocument.aspx?id=TS101331
    Build in Windows Defender should reactivate after the reinstall.  As an antivirus product it is adequate as long as you practice safe surfing habits.
    Windows key + X, select Command Prompt (Admin) and type:  sfc /scannow
    Let me know if it does not fix all or any corrupt system files.
    Reboot and now try your Youtube.
    I do not have an answer to what transpired between you and HP Support but only to say you should come here first.

  • Adobe flash player green screen when playing videos

    Hello,
    I get this green screen when I play videos on my IE9 browser on a Win 7 (64-bit) desktop computer. This green screen appears when playing a video which uses the Adobe flash player (version 11.5.502.146) but happens only after the an initial portion of the video (entire video is loaded already) is played and the rest of the video is green screen and is played at accelerated rates, as if it was being fast forwarded. The audio from the video is also affected as it plays static of different frequencies.
    The videos I've been watching are from http://xin.msn.com/ and http://www.youtube.com/. I've also tried to solve this with disabling hardware acceleration from the flash player's menu, and uninstalling and reinstalling and then rebooting the computer, both of which are different attempts which did not resolve the issue.
    Help to fix this issue on hand will be greatly appreciated.
    Many thanks

    Please try the solution outlined in the post below and let us know how it works for you.

  • How to key a green screen separately from motion background

    Using FCP7.  I have an animated background running throughout the sequence (it's on Video Track 1).
    When I place a greeenscreen interview on top of that (on Video Track 3) and a solid color background for the key behind that (on Video Track 2), the solid color background covers up the animation.
    How do I key the interview and maintain the animated background?
    Please tell me I don't have to build it as separate sequences.

    It is not clear from your post what you are trying to do.
    Screen shots would help.
    If you want the area that is green on track 3 to reveal the animation, why are you  putting a solid background on V2?
    If the animation has transparency, and is also supposed to be over the the solid color background, then the order for the tracks should be:
    V3 - Video with green screen with keyed applied
    V2- Animation
    V1- Color Background

  • Green Screen w/ FCE?

    Hey guys,
    I just moved up from imovie09 to Final Cut Express. I want to make my next video w/ green screen but am unsure whether FCE can do what I want. The tutorials on youtube only show people using green screen w/ a still picture as the background. For example:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bxcnEmpPV98
    I would like to use the green screen where there is motion/video going on in the background where the green screen would be. Is this possible on FCE? If so, how do I do it?
    Thanks,
    David

    iM09's green-screen is drop-dead-simple and superb in quality. I'm actually not able to re-enact same quality with the many 'knobs & sliders' in FC/e Color-Key ..
    but I'm a FC/e beginner.. used to one-click-only solutions ..
    @Tom:
    heard this trick often, but my example is done withOUT an 'empty', plain-green frame .. my 'secret' is an UNeven! background. esp. when using a 'painted', computer-generated green, it needs flaws. many paint-apps, as Pixelmator or Photoshop/e offer a so-called 'cloud' filter - use two slightly diff. greens - done.

  • Why do I get a green screen on all of my videos in Mozilla (YouTube, Facebook, etc.)

    I have read the forums regarding this issue on Internet Explorer, but I do not know how to fix the issue on Firefox, which is my preferred browser.  All videos have audio but there is no video, just a green screen.  :-(  Also, is there a different fix for IE other than disabling hardware acceleration?  The videos are so blurry with that fix.  Thanks for the help!

  • Video card for HD and green screen

    I use a windows XP64 based machine with a quad core I7 920 processor and 12 gigs of RAM with nVidia 260 card. I use CS3. Right now I am having severe crash issues in Premeire CS3.
    I do HD 1080i video editing with up to 4 layers of green screen. I currently use Adobe AE Keylight2 for my greenscreen work. I bring the files into Premeire with "Dynamic Link". I crash, and crash, and crash. What is my best option to prevent crashing. A Quadro video card? which one? . Or, Matrox Max. My budget is somewhat limited. I can't get both. I want to upgrade to CS5 but need to fix this problem, now.

    I appreciate the quick answer and am considering moving to Windows

  • Camera video preview - Random crashes and green screens

    Hello everyone,
    I am currently working on a Windows Phone 8.1 app and I need to preview video from the phone's back camera. For quite some time I've been struggling with random crashes and green screens. When these green screens appear, all camera apps become affected and
    the device needs to be restarted. Occasionally the phone freezes and only recovers after battery removal. I test the app on my Lumia 620.
    After some web search, I found references to the same problem by many users/developers of different apps. I'm really frustrated as I've tried many possible solutions with no avail.
    Here is part of my code:
    //in App.xaml.cs:
    MediaCaptureInitializationSettings settings;
    public static MediaCapture captureMgr;
    public static bool UnableToInitializeCamera = false;
    public async Task InitializeVideoCapture()
    DeviceInformation backWebcam = await GetCameraDeviceInfoAsync(Windows.Devices.Enumeration.Panel.Back);

    Any help towards a solution will be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you

    I will also advice that you start by following the
    Windows Store app sample.
    Is this a Windows Phone app?
    The crash/green screen only manifests itself when I suspend my app and switch to the default camera app (could be any other camera app perhaps). It happens roughly 1 out of 8 times. That's why I posted the suspension and resuming handlers, which I wrote
    according to the msdn instructions.
    I found
    this page with a sample that demonstrates the MediaCapture API for Windows Phone. Some developers have reported problems similar as mine. Has Microsoft dealt with this issue?
    I've spent quite a few weeks trying to investigate this problem, without actually knowing if it is my code that needs to be debugged. That's why I'm asking if other developers are facing similar problems.
    Thank you
    Edit: It seems that the crash/green screen can appear when suspending/switching to any app (regardless if it uses the camera or not). Also, all works fine when the app is running on the debugger.

  • No video as the screen turns green.

    When trying to watch a video, as in tech support and movies,  the screen turns green.

    Hi,
    Try the following first.
    Start a video playing.
    Right click on the video ( green screen ) and select Settings.
    Remove the tick from the box next to 'Enable Hardware Acceleration' and then click close.
    Refresh the current page and see if the video now plays Ok.
    If the above fails to correct the issue, try a clean installation of the flash plugin/ActiveX as follows.
    First, download the Flash uninstall utility on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.
    Flash Player Uninstaller.
    When the download has completed, close all browser windows, open your Download folder and run the uninstaller.  After this has completed, restart the PC.
    When windows has reloaded, download and install the latest version of Adobe Flash.  Note: You may want to deselect the option to include McAfee Security Scan Plus before downloading.
    When the installation has completed, restart the PC.
