AE6000 Properties Advanced Settings in Windows 7

The AE6000 Properties Advanced tab lists 4 properties: IEEE802.11h (enable), Multimedia/Gaming Environment (disable), Radio On/Off (enable), and WIMM Capable (enable), I am not able to find what these mean for the AE6000 driver.
IEEE802.11h is shown as enabled, but the specs for the AE6000 do not show this as a capability.
I have no idea what would change for a Multimedia/Gaming Environment.
What is allowed or prevented with the Radio On/Off? What power states?
WIMM - is this device warable?
What precisely does each property option mean?

Found this on Wikipedia: IEEE 802.11h solves problems like interference with satellites and radar using the same 5 GHz frequency band. Try enabling Multimedia/Gaming Environment and observe for any connection change. I'm not sure about the other settings. Maybe somebody else here could enlighten us.

Is it possible to change the settings in AR Properties Advanced tab with Adobe Acrobat XI?

I noticed when I went to print a PDF double sided, that despite the following the guidelines from Adobe on this process, it still printed single sided. I checked the properties of the PDF itself and on the Advanced tab, the DuplexMode was set to Simplex and was greyed out.
Is it possible to change the settings in that tab with Adobe Acrobat XI?

I have two printers, both support automatic duplexing. Any PDF we receive
or create we are unable to print double sided on our mac mini¹s. I didn¹t
make it clear in my question that we were fine on Windows XP, but, having
recently changed to Mac have encountered this frustrating problem.
I did a lot of research prior to recording the question and it appears I am
not the only one who has come across this problem, and I have followed the
guidelines that Adobe promote on their website to be able to print double
sided, which doesn¹t work on the mac mini Osx Mavericks.
Because the Properties, Advanced tab has ³Print Dialog Presets² that are set
to simplex and greyed out I took that to mean that no matter what printer
settings I make, and I think I¹ve gone through all that I can, the pdf will
not print double sided on Mac but will on XP.
Sorry this isn¹t the reply you must have been hoping for and look forward to
receiving further advice in regard to this matter.

I was able to successfully force this setting via GPO for Computer Configuration, Startup Scripts:
Computer, Configuration (Enabled), Policies,
Windows Settings, Scripts,
Startup
For this GPO, Script order: Not configured
Name
Parameters
changeIntelWiFi-RoamingAggressiveness.ps1
Within the script I have the following line:
Set-NetAdapterAdvancedProperty -Name Wi-Fi -DisplayName "Roaming Aggressiveness" -DisplayValue "4. Medium-High"
Hope this helps anyone else out there looking to set this up on a large scale, you can likely target this script different as required...

Advanced Settings not saved

There seems to be a bug in the Contribute Software, at least
on my version. I am having to program all my advanced settings
twice, once before I publish and once after I publish.
For example, all my HREF settings default to referential
links (instead of absolute links) and all my target settings
default to the default window (instead of my setting to open a new
window) after I publish. I can fix it, but only by going back into
the edit function, reselecting it, and then republishing.
As you can imagine, this is really annoying and time
consuming. Do you know why this is happening and how it can be
fixed?

You can not use the Windows registry to disable items in Firefox. This link shows how to lock down Firefox proxy settings, change the values to suit your needs:

One minor variation, in step 4 instead of adding that line to all-js, you can create a file called ''local-settings.js'' containing the line shown and save the file in the same folder as all.js

Desktop mangager 6.0.1 Freezes after advanced settings on contacts

I have Desktop mangager 6.0.1 and a Blackberry Tour. I am running windows xp. Everytime I try to set the advanced settings for contacts, the software freezes. I've only gone in and eliminated some fields I don't need or want. I've tried deleting the intellisync folder in documents and settings.
Anyone have any ideas?

Lenovo G580 Dolby Advanced Audio v2 windows 8 problem!

Hello!
One week ago I bought a brand new Lenovo G 580 laptop and everything worked okay until I updated the OS to win 8 PRO 64bit and the audio interface stoped working.
I have sound - with the windows mixer thing, but when I downloaded the win8 driver for dolby advanced audio v2 from lenovo website the sound doesn't pass through the software anymore.
Do you have any clue why it's like this? I really hope there is a fix for this because without the dolby processing now the sound is very low and dull.

Sorry for the double post, but STILL THERE IS NO SOLUTION TO THIS?
I searched the holly wide web and found that there is a newer version of the conexant smart hd audio driver -
v 8.64.39.50 which Lenovo doesn't have. Now why is that? It's Dolby's fault or Lenovo's? Why is the feedback so bad? I mean, all I have read here from the oficials @ Lenovo are simple and logic solutions that I tried myself in the 1st place, there is nothing tech savvy in that answers.
And yes, I know w8 is fairly new but why the heck stil needs tweaking from the manufacturers, in this case for a audio interface?That's something that was supposed to work from day one - the drivers! (It's been so long since Windows 8 was launched, what the hell?)
L.E. : I FIXED IT! I was not looking for this but i did it! In device manager was a unknown device that requested driver. I uninstalled it. After that, 3 hours later I installed lenovo energy management utility which asked for a restart. After that I realized that Dolby Advanced Audio V2 IS WORKING!
L.E. 2 : Update :If what I wrote above does not apply in other cases, I came across another aspect -> In Speakers Advanced Settings I had the sample rate and bith dept set @ 24 Bit, 192000 Hz. If you choose that setting or 24 Bit, 96000 Hz the Advanced Audio V2 will not work anymore. The highest supported by the Dolby interface to work is 24 Bit, 46000 Hz - the one I use now.

Can not access the advanced settings via IP address WRT310N

Hello all,
I'm having trouble accessing my routers advance settings. The Easy Link Advisor works but as soon as I attempt to enter the router via the advanced setting explorer pops up with a "can not connect" and internet trouble shooting suggestions.
I'm trying http://192.168.0.1 which is where the advisor attempts to connect and 192.168.1.1 which was my default for my wrt54g.
Nothing seems to work - I have tries a hard reset of the router as well.
Any tips, suggestions?

In the easylink adviser i click on the WRT310N and choose advanced settings it opens up a a brouser window going to 192.168.1.1 and then takes me to a blank page.
i checked ipconfig and
IP Address ...............:192.168.1.100
Subnet Mask ............:255.255.255.0
Default Gateway........:192.168.1.1
the other 2 issues i get are clicking on change router password i get the error message
"Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation"
also when i click on wireless protection i get the same error message

WRT160Nv3 Advanced Settings

Can someone help pls. When I type 192.168.1.1 in my web browser I get a google search for it and when I type http://192.168.1.1 I get the "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" message. Also, when I click on Advanced Settings in the dropdown menu on the Easylink Advisor I get the "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" message. I upgraded the firmware to 3.0.03 build 003, and the router is working perfectly. I want to open a port so my son can set up a Ventrillo Server on his PC. I'm at a loss for what to do. Also, If you would dumb-down your explanation, it would help. I'm not that computer savvy

On your computer which is Hardwired to the router, click on Start - RUN - type "CMD" and click OK... Now in the command prompt window type "ipconfig" and hit enter and note down the Default Gateway IP address, using the default gateway ip you can try to login to the setup page of your Router.
The default password for the Router is "admin" without the Username.

Disc mode. Misleading info in iPod Settings About window

Hi, I have just bought and used the new iPod 80Gb. Computer is PowerBook G4 1.67 with Mac OS X 10.4.8. As well as the reported ERROR (-48) I have noticed that the Settings>About window on the iPod shows only the space taken up by my iTunes music library (3Gb at present). There is however another 40Gb taken up in disc mode by my Pictures folder which I copied from the Mac HD to the iPod. I would expect this to be reflected in reduced storage space in the About window.
Any reason for this? I am also hoping Apple will fix the (-48) error as it is really annoying on a brand new piece of expensive hardware and I am reluctant to apply my own fixes. Firmware is 1.2.1 - the latest. Once it is all fixed it will be awesome to be able to listen to so much music AND store so much back-up of other files.

hello Alxlight, the text in the about-dialog is static and should just inform users about the default configuration in the experimental aurora/nightly channels of firefox. when you decide to disable the various settings in ''options > advanced > data choices'' this data won't be submitted to mozilla, despite what the about-dialog says...

Hi,
Most of the performance parameters are OS independent. You need to check ST02 and check most of the SWAP comings in which area and there you can click on detail analysis menu which will give you parameters for the buffer settings. You need to adjust these parameters in instance profile in RZ10.
Also, if your database is oracle10g then make sure that SAP note 830576 should be implemented.

2011 Application Properties Advanced Page View

I am trying to view all of the options on the Advanced Page of Application Properties.
I have an error when trying to load a compiled VI on to an older PC.
The error suggests that I need to disable the SSE2.
This should be possible within the Advanced Page of Application Properties but there is no option to scroll down to view the setting, or change it, from this dialogue box.

Find the attached screen shots.
The first shows the original error, indicating that the SSE2 needed to be disabled.
The second shows the view I had of the Application Properties Advanced page. As you can see the SSE2 option is not within the view and there is no way to scroll down. All options can only be viewed when I changed the screen resolution and reduced the text size. I am using windows 7. No modules installed.

Cant get advanced settings on WRT160N V1

When I select advanced settings a browser page opens with the following address.....
http://192.168.1.1/
and a message that Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage. Any ideas how to fix this? Everything else works fine.

BIOS Advanced Settings in Pavilion NB

i need change advanced settings in BIOS, like turn off SMART, because i need restarting computer
many many times in hour and i cant always pushing F1 to ignore SMART warning.

If you are getting a HDD SMART error, then the PC is saying the HDD is on death row and you need to replace it. It is not safe to your data to continue using the HDD while in this state - it could potentially fail and your data would be thrown into the void.

Yah, except with the new NSA revelations I want to set and/or verify my levels of encryption as I have in the past. Removing all encryption information leaves us all hanging. SSL 3.0 and TSL 1.0 should be on for everyone while SSL 2.0 needs to be off forever. Is this the case? How would I know?
