AEBS not showing up on one MB

Hi there,
A weird one I need help with. We have 3 macs at home and an iPhone that have all been joining mu airport network with no problems since day one. A few days ago my girlfriend's Macbook just stopped seeing our network on her machine. All are now running 10.5 and were fine as they were with 10.4
My MBP and iMac are fine. Nothing has been changed on the MB and it still sees out neighbors networks and works ok anywhere else.
Can anyone shed any light on this as I am baffled.
I've tried everything I can think of and it just won't see that one base station at all.

Hello Andy Buchanan. Welcome to the Apple Discussions!
Try the following on the MacBook:
1. Delete Preferred Network
o System Preferences > Network > AirPort > Advanced > AirPort tab
o Under "Preferred Networks," delete the problematic network from the list.
2. Delete AirPort Keychain Entries
o Launch the "Keychain Access" application located in Applications/Utilties.
o Click on the "Kind" filter at the top, and look for the problematic network entry ... and delete it.
o Restart, or log out then back in.
3. Add Preferred Network(s)
o System Preferences > Network > AirPort > Advanced > AirPort tab
o Add the preferred network using the "+" button.
o Restart or log out then back in.

I added a new post to my iTunes U course and it is not showing up on one of my student's iPads. She has only one Apple ID on the iPad. Any assistance is appreciated.

A new post to my iTunes U course shows up in my course both on my Mac and my iPad Air, as well as on other students' iPads, but for one single student. We have closed the app and forced shutdown. Student recently added more icloud space, but that is all. iPad is up-to-date in terms of iOS and iTunesU app. The student has only one Apple ID associated with her iPad.
We have reposted two more times. The second time the post showed up for a few seconds, but then disappeared. It does not show up under any other section (assignments, discussions, etc). Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Have you contacted Apple support?
I don't know if these will work, but you could have the student try the following:
logout of his or her iTunes U (i.e., iTunes Store) account using Settings
force-quit iTunes U
relaunch iTunes U
sign in to the newly launched app when prompted

Talent Search not showing name for one employee

Hi
I am facing issue in talent search, it is not showing employee name after search. This is happening only for one user, means surely it will be master data issue,application is working fine.
But now I want where to see that data maintained.
Please help with this if anyone knows about it.

Hi Yogesh,
If it is only one employee that it isn't showing for then it could be authorizations. Some other suggestions are:
- Incorrect or no name for CP object
- Incorrect authorizations of user used for delta-indexing
My guess would to be to look at authorizations first.

Plz. help,table does not show value for one field

hi all,
i have a really strange problem , i have a string field in access database that contains the date and time value,this field for some strange reason does not show in my table created through html,
i tried all combination(arranging the fields) ,renaming it w/o help, it shows the value using out.println(but then why is it not showing me in the table???)
plz. help ASAP.

Airport drive not showing up as one of the options when installing new programs

I purchased a large 120GB soundbank (Komplete 9 from Native Instruments) and need to install it to my MacBook Air which does not have enough space on the internal drive.
I have a 2TB Airport capsule and thought I would be able to install the program on there but it does not show up as an available option when I try to install the program (see screenshot). Do I need to buy an external drive that plugs in via USB instead? I'm hoping I don't need a MacBook Pro instead...

Programs usually aren't the biggest culprits in terms of space usage, it's normally data files that take up more space. This kind of huge library really is best installed on an external drive, provided you don't mind carrying it around with you. Here's how you install it on an external:

Buddy not showing online on one user account

I have multiple user accounts on one IMac. One buddy shows up as always offline on one account but shows up as online on the other accounts (the buddy is online). I've checked and rechecked the AIM account name and it is correct and identical to the one on the account that is working. Any ideas on what could be the problem?

I've really got myself confused and hope you can help.
iChat has been working flawlessly for me - iMac 20" Duo OS X10.5.2. Have a friend in NY with an AIM account running OS X10.4.11 but though we can see each other, I cannot hear her - she can hear me. However, when I went to my iMac PPC G4 running OS X10.4.11, we can both hear and see each other perfectly.
I have another friend in Berkeley with an iMac Duo OS X10.5.2 and we can iChat perfectly. But when she tried to chat with our friend in NY running Tiger, same thing - Berkeley can see NY but not hear her. Again, the NY person can hear both of us but we cannot hear her.
But when I go to my iMac G4 and try to chat with my Berkeley friend running OS X10.5.2, she appears offline. The only way to get her to appear online is to have her change her security setting to allow anyone. As soon as she does this, I can see her come online and we can chat. But, I appear offline to her even when I change my security setting to allow anyone. We could still chat though. We tried using the allow specific people, but that did not work either.
Now I run back upstairs to my iMac Duo, and sure enough, Berkeley and I can see each other online and chat just fine as usual.
The problem seems to be with trying to chat with someone running Tiger and the other(s) running Leopard. Perhaps something else? Changed Quicktime to 1.5, but did not fix the problem. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Ralph.

Breadcrumb Seperator Not Showing Up on One Tab's Pages Only

I am working on a site that has 2 levels of tabs. On all the 3rd level pages (the lowest level) the seperator shows up between the first and second level breadcrumb except for the one 2nd level tab's pages don't have it. I have spent much time looking at the code and can't find what is wrong; I even recreated the page with the tab and breadcrumb seperately and it still doesn't show up. I believe it's a bug in the APEX software but I'm not sure. If anyone has any insight into this I would greatly appreciate it. Please help so I can get past this issue!

If it's the same problem as that described here, Re: Breadcrumbs Look Different on Certain Pages , it will be fixed in version 3.1.

Skype messages do not show up with one specific pe...

When I send a message, the scroll bar on the right jumps back to halfway the chat, and every message from the other person gets a little orange bubble as if they just sent it to me. When the other person says something to me, it simply won't show up at all. (the messages that get the orange bubble are from back when the chat still worked)
I do want to make clear this only happens with ONE person. With every other friend the chat works as expected. Also, this problem started in the middle of a chat conversation. Not when I launched Skype or when played around with settings or anything. It happened out of nowhere.
What do I do?..

If you have exchanged messages with this user when your computer's time was wrong, then the timestamp of these messages remains wrong. To fix this issue you will either have to clear all chat history or to try to correct the wrong timestamp.

Recent downloads not showing - only old ones

When I select 'downloads' the only ones showing are from months ago - no recent dowloads are there. Is there a way of finding them - I have searched the net and tried all suggestions but still cannot see my recent dowloads - even one from a couple of hours ago.

I really need clarification as to where to find the 'about:support page' on Help/Troubleshooting etc.

Albums with multiple artists do not show up as one album in my library. How can I make them do this WITHOUT having to put all such albums in a playlist so they actually play properly?

Basically, I just got the Matrix Reloaded album off a friend of mine.
The album itself is comprised of multiple contributing artists.
Now, in any other media player, it would happily declare the album to be the product of Various Artists and leave it at that.
iTunes, on the other hand, seems to think I need one album titled "Matrix Reloaded" for every single artist who contributed, which not only looks hideous (I have enough trouble navigating the "Albums" page as is since it's not in any kind of alphabetical order) but also makes it a pain if I just want to put the album on to play and do something else.
The same thing occurs with another album, one of the Red vs Blue soundtracks by Jeff Williams; two of the songs in it are from "Jeff Williams & Steve Goldshein" which iTunes seems to think merits a whole seperate album which is entirely redundant.
At the moment I'm getting by through somewhat-length creation of playlists so I can actually listen to albums with the tracks where they're meant to be, but this should not even be necessary in the first place.
All my music currently is from when I made the jump from WMP after buying an iPod Touch, none of it was actually bought through iTunes.

Generally setting a common Album title and Album Artist will fix things. For compilations of tracks by different artists set the album artist to Various Artists and also set Part of a compilation to Yes on the Options tab.

Stacked Bar Not Showing With Only One Record

I have created a stacked bar chart using SQL Server Report Builder 3.0. When the recordset returns more than one record the graph presents correctly. When the recordset contains only one record nothing is displayed. This appears to be a
bug with the product though it is possible I am configuring something incorrectly. Wondering if anyone has had similar experiences or has any insights.

Hi Nick,
I create a simple report in my test environment. However, I cannot reproduce it.
Please refer to the following situation to troubleshooting this issue:
1. Please check if you have correct expression in the chart. And if you can query correct data in the dataset.
2. Please check line color of the chart. Make sure it is white.
3. If the field in the Values dialog box is not integer data type, we will lose data in the chart.
If the issue is persist, could you please post the screenshot about your chart design, and your dataset with sample data? It is benefit for us to do further analysis.

All Matched Tunes Not Showing Up On One Computer

I have approximately 14,000 tracks in iTunes Match.
All 14,000 are shown on one computer.
Only 10,500 are shown on the other computer.
I am running the latest version of iTunes for Windows on the computer showing only the 10,500 tracks. I have deleted and re-installed iTunes several times on this computer, to no avail.
I have "upated" Match repeatedly on this computer. I have turned Match on and off repeatedly on this computer. I have turned Match off several times while holding the "shift" key, and then re-booted and turned Match back on.
I also have turned on and off "show iTunes in the cloud" several times.
Apparently, at some point in the past, tracks added to Match from the computer showing 14,000 tracks stopped showing up on the other computer. I have no idea when this happened.
I have posted variations of this request several times, since it has been this way for many months.
Anyone out there know how to fix this?

The main library on the computer showing the 14,000 tracks shows them all as either Matched, uploaded or purchased. There are no ineligible tracks, or other errors.
I did notice a few duplicates on the computer showing 14,000 tracks. I deleted all of them, and then updated Match. I then updated Match on the other computer. Nothing changed. It still shows the same 10,500 tracks.
A couple of other pieces of information:
My iPhone shows all 14,000 tracks in Match.
If I create a new library on the computer with 10,500 tracks, Match will say that there are 14,000 tracks available, but it shows none of them in the songs view.

Matched Tracks Not Showing Up On One Device

I have two computers -- a Macbook pro and a Sony Vaio running Windows 7 -- and two iOS devices using iTunes and Match.
Content added to the library on the Mac that is not purchased from the iTunes store (CD rips and purchases from other sites) shows up for streaming or downloading on the iOS devices after updating Match, but not on the Vaio. I have turned Match on and off on the Vaio, have turned iCloud status on and off, etc. Nothing seems to get iTunes on that device to recognize content uploaded from the Mac that was not purchased from the iTunes store.

I did what you suggested. This time it says that 13,000+ tracks are available in Match. The library on the Vaio, however, is still only showing 10,000+ tracks, and none of the non-iTunes purchased content uploaded on the Mac. The "show music in the cloud" setting for the Vaio is on. Am I missing something at this point?

Help, axis widget not showing up in one project only.

Suddenly my Axis widget that shows up in the comp viewer isn't showing up anymore. It's still there (if i hover around where it would be with the rotate tool, the cursor switches to indicate rotating on each axis) but i can't see it. I also can't see the rectangle that would show the boundaries of the layer. If I start up a new project, everything works as expected. I have tried resetting the prefs, restarting my computer, deleting the cache, cleaning the database. I am using cc 12.2.1.5 on windows 7 64bit sp1. should i reinstall after effects or is there something else i can try?

Check the display options for the comp via the flyout menu in the top right corner...
