AEBS, what addresses have been assigned?

I have been going through the Airport Utility over and over and can not
find a way to get a lists of all the addresses that the AEBS has assigned via
DHCP. Is it even possible to find this out? Even just a list of IP addresses
that it has used would be nice?

Open AirPort Utility and click Manual Setup
Click the Advanced (gear) icon
Click the Logging & Statistics tab below the icons
Click the Logs and Statitics tab at the bottom of the window
DHCP Clients displays the MAC address of each connected device on the network along with the assigned IP address for the device.
Wireless Clients displays the MAC address of each device connected via wireless with some other details as well
IF....you do not see a DHCP tab when you click Logs and Statistics, your AEBS is not handling the DHCP services for your network. Another device is.

Can't delete photos if keywords have been assigned

I'm running into an annoying issue. Using iPhoto 09, version 8.1.2 on my MacBookPro. I have numerous photos that I want to get rid of (my camera will create both a lo res jpeg and a RAW file, and both are then imported into iPhoto. Keywords have been assigned to both version, but I've decided to get rid of several thousand of the lo res jpegs. Howevef, clicking on them and hitting 'delete' does nothing whatsoever; nor does dragging the image to the trash. THe only thing that seems to work is removing all the keywords, then selecting the photo and pressing delete. Nothing else works. Someone please tell me there is indeed some way to delete photos without having to manually remove keywords from hundreds and hundreds of them first.
Please don't reply with stupid comments like "then don't shoot RAW and jpeg together" or similar facile suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Your main library is glitched in some way.
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In Library Manager it's the FIle -> Rebuild command)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

I'll say it again in case you missed it the first time: V$ views are NOT part of the data dictionary. You can't read the data dictionary until the database is opened.
If you've performed a recovery 'until cancel', your datafiles are all in synch with each other. They may even agree with checkpoint change number in the controlfile. But what about your redo logs? By definition, they will have changes in them from a time after the point in the redo stream you got to when you said 'cancel'.
Therefore, the redo logs will be ahead of where the rest of the database has now gotten to.
And that is why you HAVE to open the database with a resetlogs operation (that is, 'alter database open resetlogs;'). That causes the existing redo logs to be wiped clean and thus cleared of any redo from a time after the time the rest of your database has been recovered to.

I am taking a class and part of the homework was to use the pattern maker. I searched every drop down menu looking
for something that was removed from the standard install. Eventually I located the plug in and pattern maker is working,
however I am wondering what else was removed.

I think pattern maker was removed in CS3 from my memory. In CS4 Extract and Contact Sheet were also removed. These are still accessible by installing the plug ins from previous versions
Exactly WHY they are removing these things from the standard install? because there are certain portions of the development staff that are becoming obsessed with what they are calling "bloat'. There was a brief period (Photoshop 6 to 7) when certain "New Features" like Extract and Pattern maker were introduced, looked like some kind of sideline - they honestly were not put together, or thought through very well. So now they are removing them.

There is no way to find out what computers.
Deauthorize all, then authorize the active computers.

Not sure if it uses data, but that allows you to multitask. To save battery life you should close out of all the apps.

Just what I have been waiting for.

I am no spreadsheet master (I have virtually no Excel experience) but there was a time that I could make the Appleworks do what I wanted. However, it has been a while since I found using tables in Pages was much better for charting the information I was producing.
I also know, as I have read through these discussions, that people are dismayed by the limits of Numbers, however, I think it's important to remember that Apple does listen to its customers. Furthermore, anyone remember iTunes 1.0? Since then it has become groundbreaking for music and entertainment. That said, I am confident the same thing will happen with Numbers. Just keep sending the feedback.
As for me, I think it will handle my needs just fine. I like the crisp look, I like being able to use different fonts and styles in a box, I like the check boxes . . . yet there is so much more for me to learn. It's just what I have been waiting for.

I think most of what you hear in here complaint wise is from professionals that access those 10% of functions that 90% of users never use.
Agreed. Unfortunately I work with some of those 10% functions when I bring work home from the office
Numbers is a fantastic effort for the majority of users and will undoubtedly improve. For those of us who used Appleworks where we could and went to Excel for PC compatibility and/or heavier lifting, we now can move work to Numbers.
In the meantime, those of us who use those 10% functions should provide official feedback to Apple using clear and professional language.

They can provided you remove them from the Exclude list. Normally, Time Machine does not automatically backup external drives.

here in the first step you have to define storage bin types & in the next step you have assign it to your storage unit type.
Bin types are when you have bin of different dimensions.

How can I tell what songs have been purchased?

So, I've been going through some guilt and have been replacing copied songs with Apple Store purchases. However, some songs I am clueless about. Is there a way to tell what songs have NOT been purchases through the Apple Store (or, Amazon, for that matter)?

If you mean to check if one of your songs hasn't been purchesed by you yet, then one way to do it is going to iTunes and then to the iTunes Store. Once there, in iTunes 11.2.2, there is a column to the left labled QUICK LINKS. From there there are four imediate options: Account, Redeem, Purchased, and Support. If you click on purchesed, it will show you the songs you have bought from apple. Once you have clicked purched, there is also an option on the top right hand corner to show all of your purcheses or just the ones that are not on your mac.
