AEBSn and PPPoE -- should I tell it to ignore the error?

Hello. I posted this in a previous related discussion, but I'm not sure that anyone is still checking that as no one has responded to my note, so I've decided to put this in a new post...
Well, I I recently updated my AEBSn firmware (as well as upgraded to 10.4.11) and now, after months of good behavior, I'm suddenly getting a "No PPPOE Server can be found" error with amber blinking light -- but different than some other folks who've had this problem, I am still able to connect to the Internet, both wirelessly and through the Ethernet connection. I tried restarting my DSL Modem (a Gateway) and the AEBS, but nothing changed.
I see that I do have the option to "Ignore" the warning which will get rid of the blinking amber light. Should I? Everything seems to be working -- if I just tell the Airport to ignore what is troubling it, will I be setting myself up for pain later? It's just that the error message keeps popping up on my laptop and it's a bit annoying...
If anyone can help me, I'd really appreciate it!

Yes, my Internet provider does require a username and password. So, I had entered it into the Airport Utility and everything was working fine for about 7 months, when suddenly I've been getting this error. Right now, under the Network PPPoE panel of my system preferences, none of the fields are filled in nor is the "Connect using PPPoE" checkbox checked -- so I don't think it's PPPoE filled in to two places. The only thing that is filled in for PPPoE is the Airport Utility. (The DSL modem is set up to be just a bridge right now.)
Like I said, I didn't change any of my settings, and I can still access the Internt fine -- it's just that shortly after I updated the OS and the firmware on the Airport, this error started popping up. And it's annoying.
Should I just hit the "Ignore" button?

    You may have a faulty USB cable. Try another.
    Make sure you are following the instructions in this procedure to the letter. Here they are, with emphasis on some easily overlooked requirements:
    Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
    Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off, release only the Sleep/Wake button.
    Continue pressing and holding the Home button while you reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.Note: If you see the "low battery" screen, let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some charge, and then start with step 2 again.
    Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears (iTunes icon and USB connector) release the Home button.
    If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the "recovery mode" alert ("iTunes has detected a phone in recovery mode").
    Use iTunes to restore the iPhone.
    If you do not see the "Connect to iTunes" screen, try these steps again. If you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen but the device does not appear in iTunes, see this article and its related links.
    Select the device in iTunes and choose "restore from backup".
    If you still can't get it to work, you have done all you can and only Apple will be able to help.

    iLife '09 is not available as a download - it is only available as a purchase
    iLife '11 is available as a DVD purchase and the compoments of it are available from the App Store (iPhoto '11 (version 9.1.5), etc)
    Exactly what did you do? And exactly what does the error message say?
    On the surface it appears that you are attemptying to open a new library with an older version (iPhoto '09 can not open an iPhoto '11 library for example)

    %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
    You may see one folder in there and that's the one you want. If you see more than one, look for the one with the most recently modified files.

    I resolved the issue.
    The problem is indeed a permissions issue with the Adobe Application Support folder.
    First, in MAC OS Lion the ~/Library/ folder is hidden by default. You must unhide it in order to proceed. (if it is already visible in your ~/User/ folder, proceed to Step 4.)
    Next launch the Terminal application.
    At the command line, paste the following command line: chflags nohidden ~/Library/
    Go to /Users/youruserid/Library/Application Support/Adobe
    Get info on the ~/Adobe folder and reset your permissions to read/write and apply to all enclosed folders

    Use the new ID on her iPod but only for:
    Settings>Messages>Send and Receive
    Settings>FaceTime
    Settings>GameCenter
    and Settings>iCloud if you want her to have separate Contacts Calendar and some other things.   
    Continue to use the same/common Apple ID for Settings>iTunes and App stores so you can share purchases.

    If everything is on your computer, as it should be, then you are safe.
    Not sure what you want.
    Your iphone simply mirros the selected content of your computer.  If all of your content is on your computer, then it will be on your iphone.

    Im using windows 7 and im not a computer wizard, i've tried the method by using the instruction for Win7 but it does not work, same problem still exist.

    Before beginning the download, try temporarily disabling the antivirus, anti-adware, anti-spyware, and any other anti-whatever that is required and is running with that secure OS.

    I have had the same issue since day 1 of the ios5 installation.  I always hit "Cancel" and then the iPad eventually shows up again in iTunes.  Then a few hours later, I get the same message again.  Annoying, but I've not found a way around it.

    You should try to get your computer working before you upgrade.
    Check that your computer is compatible with Mountain Lion/Mavericks/Yosemite.
    To check the model number hold down the option/alt key, go to the Apple menu and select System Information.
    MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer) model number 3,1 or higher
    Your Mac needs:
    OS X v10.6.8 or OS X Lion already installed
    2 GB or more of memory (More is better - 4 GB minimum seems to be the consensus)
    8 GB or more of available space
    Check to make sure your applications are compatible. PowerPC applications are no longer supported after 10.6.

    OK, so generally my entire problem started because i am constantly facingan irritating "bad request" or something like that with xbox forums, like if I chose to restore my session for example, on FireFox version 3.6.20, which I only use because I don't like/understand the tab addtions and this appears to be the most updated version prior to it. So, I continued to uninstall it, I did a reboot of my computer, and proceeded to the site from which I downloaded this version, filhippo.com. Norton anvtivuris confirms nothing wrong with the set-up file, so i proc3eed to install, only to get hit with "Your computer must be restarted to complete a previous uninstall of Firefox. Do you want to reboot now?" WHY?! I've ALREADY completed this step! I tried a system restore in attempt to fix/set back this operation, and didn't make any difference. I'm on Windows 7, Ultimate, 64 bit, and because of this I now can't install ANY version of Firefox! What am I supposed to do about this so I can reinstall the browser?? if anyone has any possible info, please e-mail me/leave a reply back as soon as possible! Thank you.
