AEDTM no change to the new date when delimit done

Hai,
I have a question and would like to know whether it is a std SAP behavior or not? Where the delimit function (example delimit infotype 0014) is changing to new change date at field AEDTM? It's the same date which the record was created earlier or not? At field AEDTM it's look like the new changing date is not appear and its hard for user to define when was the action has been delimited.
For info report S_AHR_61016380 - Logged Changes in Infotype Data, still not able to meet our user needs.
Is there any notes or patch that need to be apply to address this problem?

Hi Marini,
As of release 4.0A the logic is that if the CONTENT of an infotype
record is changed the new UNAME and AEDTM are stored in the record.
If only the validity range of an infotype record changes by copying, or
by the delimit functionality the former UNAME (and AEDTM) stays.
That means: If the function delimit is used, or if for an infotype with
time constraint 1 or 2 a new record is created which delimits a former
record for the delimited record the former values of UNAME and AEDTM
are still stored and not updated.
The fields "changed by" (UNAME) and "changed on" (AEDTM) are only
updated, when a field other then 'end date' (ENNDA) has been changed.
To further clarify, if you use transaction PA30 and the function
'Change', the fields UNAME and AEDTM will be updated.  It is with
the function 'Delimit' that only the end date of the infotype
will change.
If you want to store the information when and by whom an infotype has
been changed, you can activate the infotype change documents which is
designed for the tracking of changes on infotype records.
The IMG Path is: Pers Mngt > Pers Admin > Tools > Revision > Set up
Change Document.
Some further explanation is provided in note 333493.
However if you want the old functionality back, please have a look at
the other note I attached, 353788.
An important issue to keep in mind when you implement the changes of
this note 353788, is that these source corrections will NOT be taken up
in SAP standard and also not be delivered by HR Support Package.
Regards,
Ana

I recently changed my apple ID but the old on is still on my iCloud account. The old address is dimmed on iCloud on my iPad so I can't change it. How do I change to the new address?  I don't want to delete the account as I don't want to lose the pictures

To change it, you have delete the existing account.  However you can avoid losing any pictures in the process.  To avoid losing photo stream photos, save them to your camera roll (if not already there) before deleting the account.  To do this, open your my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll.  (Camera roll photos are not effected by deleting the account.)
Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with the new ID.  This deletes the account and your iCloud data from your device, but not from iCloud.  Provided you are signing back into the same account, your iCloud data will reappear on your device when you sign back in.

  • How can I migrate my old sync data to the new system when I don't have any devices signed in

I just reformatted my computer harddrive and reinstalled both Windows and Linux. Now that I have everything installed and updated, Firefox is asking me to migrate to the new syncing system they have. Problem is, I want to still be able to sign into the old system just to be able to get my bookmarks so I can migrate them to the new system.
I still have my sync key, and login information for the old system, but I just want to know how to access it once to get my information. I can handle everything from there.

hello, in this case you'd probably have to use a workaround and download the prior firefox version, disable automatic updating for the moment (in options > advanced > update), link it to the old sync account and upgrade after you have successfully restored your data this way...

I am trying to set up app tabs, but when I am using one, if I go to a new site from there, the app tab changes to the new site instead of opening in a new tab, then the app tab changes to the new site. i.e. The app tabs don't stay constant. This occurs while still in Firefox, and does not relate to when I close it. Has anyone got any ideas? Thanks

If you backed up the iPhone to either iTunes or the iCloud, restore the backup. If not, the data is gone.

I have the new iPad . I don't know how my sister's apple ID was set. I have all under my iTunes account but when i need to update my apps, a different apple ID come up! how do i change that?

Hi maggieanntb, your sister's Apple ID came up because an app(s) was downloaded using her account. To prevent that from happening, you would have to delete the app(s) that were downloaded on her's, and re-download them using your own Apple ID.

I changed my Apple ID but my iCloud didn't change to the new ID. If I delete the old iCloud will I lose all data on my iPod ?

    - Go to Settings>iCloud. Scroll to to bottom of the screen and tap the delete button. The effect all the services listed in Settings>iCloud like Notes, Contact and Calendar.
    - You may be offered the option to retain that data on the iPod. Otherwise it gets deleted.
It does not effect synced media like apps and music purchased with the account..
Note that purchases made with an Apple ID are locked to the ID that purchased them. To update apps you have to sing into the account that purchased them

If you don't get an answer, do you really think it is going to help to simply post the exact same question again?
Why don't you do yourself a favor and try to reason about the problem yourself. You can be 100% assured this is your own fault that this is happening, somewhere in your code is a mistake. So where could it be? What could you have done to make the page display the old data in stead of the new data?
Perhaps you will also want to invest some time into learning how to use a debugger, those things were invented to be able to work out these kind of "mysteries".

  • I cannot find the new data in the database

    Hi
    I'm newbie at SQL.
I read and watched a lot about the SQL. But still can't figure out the problem.
    THE PROBLEM:
we are using accounting software for our business.
the software keeping records of clients names and other information.
when I open the software, i can access everything, but i can't edit the File Number for example.
So I tried to access the files from within windows. Then I learned that the files I'm looking for are called Database.Which brought me to SQL server.
short story: I opened the database using SQL server but it contains only data that are three years old.
How i can find the new data. Right now the database seems to have only 97K records.

well, what i did is open SQL server, selected the database, then scroled to the Clients Table then opened it.
I can only see the ID and Name, other information is always NULL
I scrolled down to the last one which has ID 97000 for example.
Then I went back to the Application, from there i can see the other information about every client, and i can see that this client file was created like three years ago
I started to think that the application is using a different database
even though I searched for any MDF file or a file that was recently edited, I can't find anything else

  • Where the new data's are placed  first ?

    Hi,
I have created the database of TimesTen as per the steps in
    http://download.oracle.com/otn_hosted_doc/timesten/1121/quickstart/html/admin/db_ops_createdb.html
using Data Source Name (DSN )
    Placed data in C:\TimesTen\Database
    Placed log in D:\TimesTen\Log
    Command> connect "dsn=my_ttdb";
    Connection successful: DSN=my_ttdb;UID=*******;DataStore=C:\TimesTen\Database\my_ttdb;DatabaseCharacterSet=AL32UTF8;ConnectionChar
    =D:\TimesTen\Log;PermSize=700;TempSize=300;TypeMode=0;OracleNetServiceName=orcl_db;
    (Default setting AutoCommit=1)
If the tables are created it will be data file that is in C:\TimesTen\Database path
If the data's are populated(inserted/updated) then the log will be in D:\TimesTen\Log path and data's will be C:\TimesTen\Database
Here what ever command which is issued will be logged in D:\TimesTen\Log
Where the new or incoming data's are placed , first in-memory or where ,if it is placing in memory when it will be writing to disk. I couldn't be able to see any data's in memory when the new data is inserted.
I am using bulk command to insert the data
    ttBulkCp -i DSN=my_ttdb mytable C:\TimesTen\Database\test.txt
When the data's are inserted it writes the log in the log directory D:\TimesTen\Log and the new log files are generated my_ttdb.logXX ,then what is the difference in general Oracle database and Oracle TimesTen database?
If the logs are going to happen when we use the ttBulkCp command then we can opt for Oracle database and why we need to go for Oracle TimesTen if all the operations are similar. What differs here with normal Oracle database.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
    In the link
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21901_01/doc/timesten.1122/e21633/comp.htm#BABHBICB
under Database persistence topic it is said as Databases are created in two ways :
Permanent databases are stored to disk automatically through a procedure called checkpointing. TimesTen automatically performs background checkpoints based on the settings of the connection attributes CkptFrequency and CkptLogVolume. TimesTen also checkpoints the database when the last application disconnects. Applications can also checkpoint a database directly to disk by invoking the ttCkptBlocking built-in procedures
Temporary databases are not stored to disk. A temporary database is automatically destroyed when no applications are connected to it; that is, when the last connection disconnects or when there is a system or application failure. TimesTen removes all disk-based files when the last application disconnects.
A temporary database cannot be backed up or replicated. Temporary databases are never fully checkpointed to disk*, although Checkpoint operations can have significant overhead for permanent databases, depending on database size and activity, but have very little impact for temporary databases. Checkpoints are still necessary to remove transaction log files.
If the Temporary databases are never fully checkpointed to disk then how cum the full data are written to disk
How to Setup a Permanent database
How to Setup a Temporary database (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21901_01/doc/timesten.1122/e21633/using.htm#BCGJAJDI)
But the statements are not clear
I need to check how it works on a Permanent database and Temporary database, so it would be helpful if you could provide alternate link how to configure Permanent/Temporary database.
My aim to keep the data in memory (i have not installed Oracle database, only TimesTen has been installed)and replicate the data to another server. For this requirement whether TT will a suitable.using Windows 2003 and 32 bit OS

  • What is the new data structure for .RTM files in LV8?

We have software that translates our LV
program to another language.  Part of that software package reads RTM
files, decodes them, replaces text, and resaves them.  That code is
broken for menus that are saved in LV8+, however.  What is the new data
    structure?
The simple attached zip file has vi's which
are not ours but serve to illustrate the point.  If it's run on an
older RTM file, it correctly outputs and XML version of it, on newer
RTM files it just throws an error.

    Hi Thomas,
What error are you getting when running the program?  I was actually able to run it without errors in LV 8.6.
There are ways to programmatically read and customize RTM files in LabVIEW.  I hope that the following links will help:
