AEXP in client modeto Draytek Router

Hi,
I have a problem here:
I use a Vigor 2820n with firmware 3.2.1_2111112 and an Apple Airport Express station with firmware 7.3.2
I use a new Airport Express with Draft-n (802.11n Wi-Fi).
Ok, here is my problem:
I use the Airport Express in "Client mode".
The problem is now, the Airport Express station can not connect with WPA2 encryption to Vigor 2820n. WPA works, but no WPA2.
The Airport Express wrote an protokol file. Here is an extract of this protocol file where I try to connect with WPA2 among Vigor 2820n and Airport Express:

  • How to set up the client-specific consolidation routes

    Hi!
I am setting up TMS-functionality in my 2-system landscape (DEV, PRD) and would like to use 2 Clients in the DEV-system (100> Cust and 200> Test).
<b>How can I set up the tranport routes between the Clients 100 and 200 in the same system DEV?</b>
I read, the client-specific consolidation route should be applied in this case?!
(also some parameter settings should be edited, e.g. CTC)
<b>Can some one give me a detail technical description how to set up the client-specific consolidation routes between Client 100 and 200 in DEV-system?</b>
    Thank you!

  • How to access more than one client computer behind router

I am new to ARD and have successfully logged on to a client machine at the office. I would like to access another machine behind my router. I am using pors 3283 and 5900 to access initial computer which works find. Can it be done with another computer. I have a fixed IP and run an ethernet network. Not sure what else I can tell you. Hope somebody can help?

If your workstations get their addresses from an NAT device rather than being "real", the ports also need to be forwarded in the router to the workstation's internal IP address. ARD uses port 3283 for the reporting and updating function, so if your Macs are getting their IP addresses through NAT, since you can only forward a port to a single workstation, as of today you can only get reports, push package/files to etc. for a single workstation.
ARD uses the VNC protocol for observation and control, though, and there are a range of IP addresses for that protocol, starting with 5900. ARD uses 5900 by default, so that port would be forwarded to the first workstation. You would, I believe, need to install VNC servers on the systems (since the ARD client cannot listen on any port other than 5900 while VNC servers can be set for other ports such as 5901, 5902, etc. You would then forward 5901 to the second workstation (and on to 5902, 5903, etc.). You can then use the following information:
Remote Desktop 2: How to specify a port number for a VNC client
    to connect.
The only other options available now are: 1) to run the ARD administrator on a workstation on the network, and then take control of that system from outside, either via VNC or another copy of ARD, or 2) set up a virtual private network (VPN) so that when you connect from outside, your admin system is officially part of the local network.
    Hope this helps.

  • Why does IE8 running on XP and Win7 Virtual Machine deletes the history while I'm still browsing the same site with client-side hashbang routing?

    Hello,
I have a asp.net mvc 5 web application running on .net 4.5 hosted on my local windows 8 machine on macbook pro using parallels. I'm running Internet Explorer 8 Version: 8.0.6001.18702 running on XP and Version: 8.0.7601.17514 running on Windows 7 Enterprise.
I've got both of the virtual machine source from www.modern.ie
My web application is attempting to provide single page user experience by having some client-side routing by using '#!/xxx' hashbangs in the url so that I can get and post via ajax and change the hash in  the url without causing the page to reload. My
code works fine in IE9+ and other modern browsers.
However, I'm facing this strange issue in both of the IE8 versions. When running my demo app in IE8, I can login, view home page and can navigate from this home page to many details page. From the very first login page, all the pages are the result
of form's post action via ajax which then expects html from server and loads in the DOM. The page structure of my app is like summary form => Details page (can also contain summary forms) => Details...so on.
The above process works fine for few of the navigation steps. If I keep navigating from one page to another & go back, I have observed that the browser back button is removing the history items slowly. And a time comes when it totally forgets about
all the history pages that I visited to reach this current page I'm viewing!! It treats like I have just started my browsing session and this current page is the first page I've landed on with no back option. Now if I again try to navigate, I have encountered
problems like both the back and forward buttons gets disabled.
Hope, my words above is clear enough to explain this problem. The same application works fine in IE9+ and other browsers.
Till now, I have tried following steps on both VMs:
    Resetting IE8.
Increasing disk space to 1024mb for temporary internet files storage.
Setting 'Never' for Check for newer versions of stored pages.
Disabling the automatic crash recovery feature didn't helped in this case. Found this on support website.
Deleted temporary files, history, cache, etc many a times.
Search many forums, posted question on StackOverflow, ASP.NET
    Forums - but didn't helped.
Tried 'beforeunload' event of browser to see if any of the page is reloading because of submit or any other reason. But the page doesn't reload at all.
The issue is browser forgets about the browsing history while I'm still browsing the same site.
Is there any possible fix for the issue above? Does IE8 have any issues as many ajax form post is happening on every page?

I have really tried many things to identify any possible reason of the issue above. Even rewrote all my javascript navigation code and checked server-side code.
But the only place where I got the solution is at site: http://www.enhanceie.com/ie/bugs.asp which states that there is a bug in IE8 which reads like:
IE0012: IE Travellog broken when navigating back/away from a page with
a large POST form If there is a form input field with a value longer
than 523,659 characters, when you navigate away from the page, IE may
clear the current session's travellog (similar to history), disabling
the back and forward buttons. Repros in IE6 & IE7.
There are following solutions that you can go for:
    - Check for the input field that has lots of characters as mentioned above and solve your problem.
    - If you have control over the system where IE8 will be used, you can add the following registry key on that machine. There is no existing key, so, you need to add a new one:
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\TravelLog] "MaxSize"=dword:ffffffff
I am really relaxed to find this information as I spent really long time to solve this issue. Hope this will help someone.

    hi  Maximilian Schojohann..
First i would like to Thank you for showing  interest in solving my issue...After some research i found that desabling the " IP CEF" will solve the issue...when i desable i was able to communicate success fully with the router lan..But when i desable " IP CEF "  Router cpu processer goes to 99% and hangs...
In the output of " sh process cpu" it shows 65% of utilization from "IP INPUT"
so plz give me an alternate solution ....thanks in advance....

I have not figured out yet, why mobility client works when launched from the web and why it does not work directly. Any input or hints would be much appreciated

    Hi Giorgi,
This could be related to CSCti89976.
AnyConnect 3.0 doesn't work with existing IOS.
    Symptoms:
Standalone AnyConnect 3.0 client does not work with an existing IOS headend.
    Conditions:
AnyConnect 3.0 with an IOS Router as the headend.
    Workaround:
Use AnyConnect 2.5 or use weblaunch.
    Upgrade IOS
Would it be possible to upgrade the IOS version?

  • Airport Express as print-server when a client to a router

I just successfully connected an Airport to my existing wireless network. It is in "client" mode under DHCP.
My goal is to use it as a print-server in my mixed windows and mac network. The printer is a Minolta Magicolor QMS 2300, connected via USB.
Following the Airport directions, I created a new Standard TCP/IP port. I entered the same IP as was assigned to the Airport by my DHCP-serving wireless router.
However... no joy. My print-jobs never seem to get there.
Any assistance would be MUCH appreciated.
    Dell 810   Windows XP Pro

Thanks. I'll try that. I did try connecting AX directly to the router, which didn't do anything to help. I gave up when directions said to use Airport Utility to configure, because I assumed AU needed to communicate wirelessly with AX, and my Macs don't have wireless cards. So I'll continue the steps with AU and see what happens. Again, thanks for the hint.

I have a customer running Cisco VPN client 5,0xx on a network behind a Cisco ASA 5505 router set up as a VPN server. He can connect to the remote (external) network, but cannot browse the remote network. Are there any special settings needed on the ASA 5505 to allow vpn client traffic through?

Maybe you need to enable Nat-traversal on your VPN Headend device.

  • IPhone 2.1 now supports Cisco VPN Client to IOS router

Just tested it. The Cisco VPN Client in iPhone 2.1 now connects to my IOS router. Excellent.

I have a Cisco 1812 with 12.4(20)T. I know that 12.4(6)T and some other versions have an issue with the negotiation of IPSec policies which basically means that only the first proposal is considered. If the first proposal matches you have a connection. If it does not match, the connection is refused even though other proposals would be O.K.
The relevant isakmp/ipsec config should be:
    crypto isakmp policy 3
    encr 3des
    authentication pre-share
    group 2
crypto isakmp client configuration group myvpn
    key mysecretkey
    dns 10.0.0.2 10.0.0.3
    wins 10.0.0.2
    domain mydomain.example.com
    pool ippool
    acl 150
    split-dns mydomain.example.com
    netmask 255.255.255.0
    crypto isakmp profile ike-myvpn-profile
    match identity group myvpn
    client authentication list userauthen
    isakmp authorization list groupauthor
    client configuration address respond
    virtual-template 2
    crypto ipsec transform-set ESP-3DES-SHA esp-3des esp-sha-hmac
    crypto ipsec profile myvpn
    set transform-set ESP-3DES-SHA
    set isakmp-profile ike-myvpn-profile
    interface Virtual-Template2 type tunnel
    ip unnumbered FastEthernet1
    ip nat inside
    ip virtual-reassembly
    tunnel mode ipsec ipv4
    tunnel protection ipsec profile myvpn
    See also http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/security/configuration/guide/secipsec_virt_tunnl_ps6441_TSD_Products_Configuration_GuideChapter.html
If you have IOS 12.4(6)T or similar which has the bug I have mentioned you have to use aes instead of 3des for the transform set. The first proposal of the iPhone is aes. Be sure to check the "debug crypto ipsec" and "debug crypto isakmp" output for troubleshooting.

  • Assigning a client to a "Route schedule"

    Hi Experts
How can I assign a customer to a "Route schedule" (LIKP, AULWE) so that once I create a delivery for this customer (VL01N), the "route schedule" is brought automatically by the systeme.
    Thanks
    Hachim

    Hi,
As per my understanding Route schedule is assigned to a route and required to be activated at shipping point, sales document type and delivery type level.
I doubt if it can be assigned to a particular customer in standard SAP.
The rout for a customer is determined thru transport zone of that customer and shipping point and shipping condition.
Whatever the schedule you have maintained for that rout will reflect in sales document.

  • IEEE 802.11k roaming with client and cisco router

I found information that Cisco supports IEEE802.11k WLAN standard with their routers.
    http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/technotes/5700/software/release/ios_xe_33/11rkw_DeploymentGuide/b_802point11rkw_deployment_guide_cisco_ios_xe_release33/b_802point11rkw_deployment_guide_cisco_ios_xe_release33_chapter_010.html
If read this article I think for assisted roaming I only need neigbor reports but IEEE 802.11k standard also defines several reports like channel load report etc.
Do I need these other reports also for roaming decisions if my device is a client?

The reason why you can't remote desktop is because you have configured the following static PAT statement that unfortunately take precedence over your NAT exemption:
ip nat inside source static tcp 10.10.1.2 3389 192.198.46.14 3389 extendable
Do you require RDP with the public IP? if you don't and only require RDP via VPN, then please take the static PAT statement out, and RDP via VPN will work.

  • NW 6.5 and DOS-IPX-Clients via IP-Router (IPX-Proxy)

    Hi,
we`ve got new routers (Layer-3 switches) which don`t supports "IPX/SPX".
Unfortunatly we have some DOS 6.22 clients which use IPX to connect to our
    Netware 6.5 Server.
These clients are difficult to change (maschines in production-line)
they have to load/ and save configuration files from the network.
Have you any idee, how can we manage this?
Is there a kind of IPX-Proxy which tunnels the IPX-packets in IP and
forwards it to the Netware server?
    Thank you very much.

  • Why doesn't my airport express router issue proper DNS server address to DHCP clients?

I have an Airport express router (version 7.6.4).  It was configured to connect to internet via a cable modem, acting as a router with NAT. This means it obtians WAN address from cable modem, and in LAN it assumes IP address 10.0.1.1 as a gateway, and issue IP address to my 4-5 wireless clients (MBA, iPads, PCs) vi DHCP.
However I recently encounter an issue, that the router no longer issues DNS server address obtained from Cable Modem(206.x.x.x) but instead tell every DHCP client to use router ip address (10.0.1.1) as DNS server. I was pretty sure before Dec 2013 it is issueing (206.x.x.x) to all DHCP clients.
Apparently now the Airport express is acting as a DNS server or as a DNS cache. This works sporadically and very often result in long DNS look up or DNS look up failure.
Is this a bug or is it supposed to do so?  Any configuration can turn it off so Airport express will issue Cable modem obtained DNS server to DHCP clients?
My network otherwise works fine. for some of the Clients (e.g. one MBA) I configured DNS for it mannually and it's internet is working very smoothly.

But this will be a problem for my ipad and iphone that uses wifi.
These devices either allow full DHCP. If you need to mannually enter DNS server, you will need to turn entire IP configuration to mannual and that will be a problem for me.

  • 2 system - 3 client routes

    Hi All,
I am a MM functional consultant
Currently, we are having 2 system DEV and PRD.
    Dev system has 2 clients - DEV:200 and DEV:100
    PRD is PRD:100.
We are doing the customizing/ development from both the client DEV:200 and DEV:100 and moving it to PRD:100.
Now we are implementing CHARM we need to define the route as below
    DEV:200 -
    >DEV:100----->PRD:100.
This needs to be client specific transport route. How to do this?
Also there are some tp which are released from both the DEV:200 and DEV:100 and not imported to PRD:100. Should i need to import all the request and then do this changes or i can make the changes without importing.
Kindly help me at the earliest.
    Regards,
    Raj

    Hi,
you can do that defining "Transport Groups" along with transport layer(s). In the Transport groups you can specify the client specific paths.
below is the link to info
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/c4/6045377b52253de10000009b38f889/frameset.htm
On second note: Since you changing the transport routes to be client specific.. you might need to re-validate the PROD buffer reflecting this changes.
TMS configuration changes shouldn't effect the transports in the buffer (PROD) but i would recommed to verify the buffer list once new configuration distributed to PROD.
    hope this helps,
    Kalyan.

  • EZ VPN client in DMZ and a router-on-a-stick

Does anyone know if it is possible to use a Cisco 1811 as an EZVPN client
while the router is setup with only one interface? I have a customer that
requested their VPN router to us be setup in their DMZ with no public facing
interface on the 1811 (VPN device). I usually configure our VPN
configurations with an internet facing interface and a DMZ facing interface.

I don't think it is possible with only one *logical* interface. Router as a EZVPN Client requires two interfaces to do PAT for traffic going to the Internet. So far as I know, this is autoconfigured in both Client and NEM modes and cannot be disabled. However you *can* use 802.1q trunk to create two *logical* interfaces and configure EZVPN Client, or just configure Site-to-Site on a stick.
