Affichage d'un site full Flash

Bonjour,

  • Trouble with site in flash should be visualized FULL  screen some people report to have seen very small

REF.: trouble with site in flash that should be visualized in
FULL screen as width/height parameters are set
'width','100%','height','100%' - however some people report to have
seen it very small as a “miniature”
I simply cannot explain why some people report to see the

    in full screen.
To be honest with Firefox 2 the same happens here , it does
    not open in full screen.
I´ve pasted bellow the html source code employed ; The

  • Inserting swf file into dw vs. creating full site in flash

I'm updating a website, and am pretty familiar w/html and DreamWeaver, but would like to add some elements of Flash into the site.  I am using Flash CS4.
What is the advantage and/disadvantage of inserting various swf files into my DW site versus just creating the entire site in Flash; what's the difference in either approach?
If I do the latter, do I eventually bring it into DW anyways so that it is an html file?
    Thanks for your help!

There can be potential issues with Flash content in a web site since the evolution of iStuff led to disallowing Flash content to be displayed.  If you are looking to attract a mobile user base, then going with Flash can be a gamble, especially as you go further on into the future where there will no longer be Flash Player development to parallel the mobile market.
I have heard that Flash content does not support handicapable design elements that html/css provide for.
You can always have the web page code check for the availability of the Flash Player, and if not found have alternative content presented instead.
An issue with having a full Flash site is that it can be less SEO friendly than going with straight html-based designed, although since the Flash content would still reside in an html page there are some measures that can be taken to support SEO concerns.
For a full Flash site design you would probably not need DW since Flash can generate an html page of its own.
I recommend you post your questions in the Dreamweaver forum as well.  The reaction there to using Flash content is likely to be harsh, so don't take it personally, but some helpful information might still be gleamed from trying.

  • A humble request and (explanation) on full Flash s...

We are living in the times when internet is in our pockets. Yet we have a crippled web browsing experience. Without full flash support, we are unable to do most of the work, communication, information gathering, nor enjoying entertainment sites.
In the modern days of internet where speed is the most important issue, website developers just can't deal with mobile versions of websites. Not even the biggest sites, like CNN have a capable and usable mobile site.
Yet, our Mobile phones, such as nokia 5800 (and also the rest of the communicator-like phones) with a serious browsing capability is discriminated because the websites recognize them as "mobile" phones. Most of the time you're not even able to browse the "normal" website and get the same experience to move around and even see the same information on your mobile phone.
I'm also experiencing browser application issues. Freezes, hungs, because the site cannot coop with the disabled flash light. It starts to load the data, you able to see the flash box and then the browser just stops working. After a long time of exercise on different sites, such as youtube I'm convinced that flash 10 even bring our browser to its knees. The new flash 10 videos totally killing the browser on my nokia phone. And this is not firmware, not memory nor website related problems. It's incompatibility where the site and the browser just unable to coop.
PLEASE NOKIA, TIME TO FIX AND UPDATE BROWSERS IN NOKIA SMART PHONES INCLUDING 5800!
GET RID OF DISCRIMINATING OUR MOBILE DEVICES AS A "CRIPPLED" INTERNET BROWSER AND GIVE US THE FULL WEB-EXPERIENCE.
I'm sure every user agrees with me on this topic.
I was a faithfull nokia owner in the past 10 years (!!!!). I spent a lot of money on my phones. I always bought them even with limited information on the capabilities because I was trustful about the quality and feature-rich products. However if this issue will not be fixed on this particular phone because of whatever reason, be it as technical issue (the phone is not prepared for such internet experience), or be it as a way of lacking in development (never ment to handle such internet experience at all) then I have to leave nokia for good.
This is not "silly warning" or an angry and frustrating finger pointing. It just the fact that if Nokia forcing me to swap phone, then I cannot trust a company with such business decisions to limit the timespan of their phone in such a way, that would generate more money for them. If this is not the case and we able to finally use our phone as it should work since the beginning then we will be the happiest buyers and supporters on earth.
Hope this message reaches the people who need. I'm also trying to send this to the customer support in the good hope that finally we will see some advancement on this topic. I think we, the users, were quiet patient up until now (a year or so passed and still no sollution on this).
    Sincerely yours,
    H0PE

Skyfire - not bad, not bad. Some memory handling issues there, many times I have to close and reopen skyfire totally in order to play a flash based video (experienced this after playing around with it for like 15-20minutes, the outcome usually this problem). The sound and picture start "jumping around", back and forth in 5-10seconds intervall of the movie. Seems like chaching problem, buffer overrun or something. Otherwise its usable on a level to check some quick news on cnn and some flash based sites. For long term use its still a no go.
Bolt - not fully supporting touch screen mobiles it seems the latest version didn't handle my input very well. I could only close it and select configuration menu but the rest was not responsive and the app. thought all the time that I wanna configure it.
Opera mobile 10 - at least 5x slower than normally should. Memory handling issues probably. The same site in opera mini or skyfire opens up lets say in 10sec, in opera 10 it takes 50+ second. Also flash isn't working well there either.
These are good and important projects for the future, no doubt. But without a proper "backbone" -that the firmware and OS should give- they are destined to be flawed. And that means on long term its frustrating and clumsy to use them.

  • Cannot download full Flash Player version

I have Windows 8.1 (64-bit) using Internet Explorer. (version 11).  I attempt to open a downloaded PDF file but it comes up with a black page with the following prompt box:  To view Flash technology content in this PDF file, install this version of Flash Player that supports Adobe Reader.  I proceed and the Adobe site notes that I need a full Flash player to view this content.  I then attempt to download the Flash Payer Installer for Windows (Active X and Plugin).  I then get this message when downloading Active X:  install_flash_player_ax_exe couldn't be downloaded.  I also get a similar message for Plugin (install_flash_player_exe couldn't be downloaded.  I then went to Flash Player Help and checked if Flash Player was installed and I have version 15.0.0.  I then tested the Flash Player and the animation box worked.  Then I enabled Flash Player, Disabled Active X Filtering and updated Internet Explorer to get latest Flash Player version.  Nothing works.  I am at a lost on how to get this "full" version of Flash Player that is required for me to view my file.  Any ideas on what can be done to fix this?

To view PDFs with Rich Media Content you will need to install the Flash Player plugin; you can get it from http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/latest/help/install_flash_player.exe

  • How do you structure a full flash website without the timeline?

Hello there. I was wondering how to build and structure a full flash website using the OOP approach. I have an idea of how to structure an application using the MVC design pattern, but I cannot put things together in order to structure a whole website.

I'm nowhere near an expert on this topic, and I suspect that the overall purpose of your site would help guide the best approach to designing and developing it without the timeline.  I've done a lot of this with Flash for a limited purpose - creating a client clip that has only one frame, but responds to user events with dynamic behavior.  My suggestion would be to take a look at some of the books that cover this topic to get a better idea of exactly how you'd like to deal with this project.
Two books are in my library that cover this topic - ActionScript 3.0 Design Patterns by Sanders & Cumaranatunge, published by O'Reilly & Associates, check it out at http://www.amazon.com/ActionScript-3-0-Design-Patterns-Programming/dp/0596528469/ref=sr_1_ 1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1254149170&sr=8-1   as well as Advanced ActionScript 3 with Design Patterns by Lott and Patterson which can be found at http://www.amazon.com/Advanced-ActionScript-3-Design-Patterns/dp/0321426568/ref=sr_1_3?ie= UTF8&s=books&qid=1254149170&sr=8-3
Both books have a chapter on implementing an MVC design pattern with ActionScript and provide some basic examples you can build on.  Sorry to be so meager in responding, I hope this might help a bit.  Good luck!

ya i noticed that! but in my humble opinion that's can be called some poor user behavior! there should be an option to discard flash and give priority to Firefox to catch specific key presses/ combination.

    Hi, Tom.
FYI: You've not stated which of your listed Macs is having the problem. However, the following may help in any case:
    1. Did you install Front Row using the Front Row hack on a Mac that did not ship from the factory with Front Row installed? If so, See my "Uninstalling the Front Row hack" FAQ. This has been known to cause a variety of problems, including the menu bar (Clock, Spotlight) issues you noted.
    2. If you did not install the Front Row Hack, an incompatible or corrupted Startup or Login Item may be partly to blame for the problems with the menu bar. My "Troubleshooting Startup and Login Items" FAQ can help you pin that down if such an item is causing the problem.
    3. As a general check, run the procedure specified in my "Resolving Disk, Permission, and Cache Corruption" FAQ. Perform the steps therein in the order specified.
    4. Re: Safari and Mail, if not sorted by any of the above, see also:• "Safari: Blank icon after installing Security Update 2006-002 v1.0."

  • How to retrieve full flash solution from WSP if not than how to retrieve ascx files from Template folder in SharePoint 2013 ?

How to retrieve ascx file from the Template folder in SharePoint2013
My issue is, I have WSP only so I changed into zip and got my all web parts and also one dll file after that decrypted dll and got some C# code
mixing with some system generated code but not ascx file that is for front-end part. So my question is how we can retrieve full flash solution if not, at least ascx files So if we were on SharePoint 2010 we could have got those file from __Template__
folder but It’s on SharePoint 2013 and not able to get ascx.
If we can do so, than will be easy to get the task to be done
Suggestions would highly be appreciated. Thanks in Advance.

    Hi Amit,
you can not move specific changes from Dev to production.
but you can follow this process to make your workflow as it is as in Dev:
Create a new workflow on the new list in Product.
Create at least one step, one condition and one action in this workflow.
    1. In Dev server open your .xomal file as XML and copy the entire contents.
2.In Production server Open your .xoml file as XML and Paste the entire contents
    3. repeat this operation for the xoml.rules file
4.Double click the .xoml file for the new workflow to open the workflow in the Workflow Designer and click Check Workflow to verify no errors and then click Finish to ensure the workflow is saved.
Whenever you need to make changes apply the same.
Please Mark Answer and Vote me if it will to resolve your issue

  • Sites for Flash tutorials?

I'm looking for a site with really good, up to date Flash tutorials. I have a membership to Lynda, but I'm looking more for short tutorials on things like text effects and feature focused tutorials. Something like the Tuts+ sites, which I believe use to have a site for flash tutorials, would be ideal. I searched the Adobe forums, but the last relavent post was in 2009. THANKS!!!

http://www.gotoandlearn.com is a good site for tutorials but, you should just lean to use a search engine like google to find tutorials that appeal to you.

  • Firefox hangs on all sites with flash content.

Firefox hangs on all sites with flash content. If I disable the flash plugin there is no hanging but obviously no flash content either. I have tried all the suggested actions found in the help sections for hanging and plugin problems. The Honda UK site listed below is one of many I am unable to access with flash enabled.

The key here will be to determine what is different between the machines that work and those that hang.  Of all the systems that fail, they are all Windows 7 32bit?
Yep, this issue only happens on Windows 7 32-bit machines, currently 6.
Do you have any 32bit systems that don't fail?
Yep, the most Windows 7 32-bit machines wont fail.
What about hardware, are there similarities here?  Attached devices/drivers?  Software that is running at the time?
These machines are all from DELL. They all have normal hardware, nothing special. Other machines from same type does not affected. Software: All have standard software distributed via Software-distribution (GPO). Only some PCs have special software, but it is not running. No special drives, too.
Maybe try booting Windows in safe mode to see if it still hangs?
Good idea, indeed - I will try this.
We're definitely interested in what's going on.  I'll ask our security and Mozilla folks to see if they have additional clues.
    Thanks!
    EDIT:
Safe mode: Flash is working! (without disabled Protected Mode!)
I've set msconfig now to: Custom system start and deselected the boxes to load systemservices and system start elements.
So, now windows does a non-safe mode boot but no service or element was loaded except the drivers (right?). Flash is not working with this config!
So, whats the difference between safe mode and normal boot with minimal configuration (see attached picture).
Only drivers will be loaded, right? If so, I can exclude the network and graphics driver as source: graphics driver are updated right now and network was working in safe-mode.
    Any new ideas?
