Affiliate commissions not being tracked

I have set up a test affilate program which registers referrals but not commisions on product sales.
We can see referrals logged in the main dashboard.
We can see form completion notes in the affiliate reports.
In the same affiliate reports I do not see any commissions being recorded or product purchases.
We are using PayPal standard (Australia).
The test purchases I have made have a status of 'Completed' and a type of 'Instant'.
Is there anything stupid I am doing wrong? Is there something else I have to setup?

Actually something does seem to be screwy here.
Why is it that I can have 2 seperate users subscribed to 2 seperate Affilate Programs yet the returned ID is the same when they log in?

    Hello Flemcat,
After reviewing your post, it sounds like you are missing content from iTunes library. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

  • Having an issue of not being able to add tracks to a project. It worked fine before, now nothing.

Having an issue with not being able to add tracks in Garage Band projects. Tried adding from both the TRACKS menu up top, and the "+" button at the bottom of the project page. It used to work fine, now all of a sudden nothing.

    What is your GarageBAnd version?
How many tracks do have already? There is a limit to the number of software instruments that you can add, depending on the amount of RAM you have installed.
Tried adding from both the TRACKS menu up top, and the "+" button at the bottom of the project page. It used to work fine, now all of a sudden nothing.
Are the buttons greyed out, or simply unresponsive?
If the buttons and commands are unresponsive, I'd try HangTime's oddball problems fix and trash the GarageBand preferences file - move com.apple.garageband.plist from the Preferences folder in your user library to the Desktop - see the FAQ:

  • Not all my past history is showing itself and a lof of it isnt being tracked now?

When i go to 'show all history' only a small portion of what i searched today gets shown. If i change months the same thing happens
A lot of what i am browsing now isn't being tracked either, this only started occurring like 2 days ago.

If history was removed, it's gone. You can only get it back if you have
backups. Follow these instructions. You can try to restore an old
backup, but they may have problems also.
Open a new tab or window. type '''about:support''' in the address
    box and press enter.
    '''Or'''
Press the '''Alt''' or '''F10''' key to bring up the tool bar.
    Then '''Help > Troubleshooting Information.'''
Under the page logo on the left side you will see '''Application Basics.'''
Under this find '''Profile Folder.''' To it’s right press the button
'''Show Folder.''' This will open your file browser to the current
    Firefox profile. Now '''Close Firefox.'''
Enter the '''bookmarkbackups''' folder. This is
where Firefox makes backups of your bookmarks. Look for the
json file you want to restore (check the time / date / size). Right click
on that file and select '''Copy.''' Now go back to the profile folder
where you started. Rename the file '''bookmarks.html''' by adding
'''.old''' to it. Now right click in the folder and select '''Paste.'''
The file you just pasted here, rename it to '''bookmarks.html.'''
After you are done, restart Firefox.

  • Exposure of Faces not being controlled by Face Detection and Touch-and-Track on Vixia

I cannot get my Vixia G30 to automatically adjust its exposure of faces
or objects being detected and tracked, even though the focus keeps up just
fine. When I touch a screen object to select it -- whether it’s relatively bright
or dark -- I get a double square bracket around it but the exposure doesn’t
change at all. When this object moves while being tracked, the exposure only
changes along with the overall scene brightness level, never in response to the
changing brightness of the moving object. Is there some trick for getting the
exposure of a tracked object to be tracked, as occurs flawlessly with focus? The
manual states it should. This problem is making it difficult for me to shoot
    theater.

  • Affiliate commissions

I need to set up an affiliate program, but I can not see to get it to work, and have some questions -
I set up an affiliate program.
I set up an affiliate and added a percentage.
I used the link supplied to go to the website, and enter a different customer and email address
I set up product and order (under product I also added under "more options" a commission payment percentage - trying to make it work, when the first did not.
    1) After entering an order, I go below to Commissions, but it tells me that commissions are disabled, and for the life of me I can't see how to enable them.
Anyone know how to enable commissions?
    2) In the BC guides -
Commissions apply to orders made by customers on your online shop after clicking an affiliate referral link.
Note: Affiliate commissions for purchases can only be tracked correctly when using a seamless payment gateway or PayPal standard.
Now the intention was for the client to send out Affiliate links, and they were going to enter the orders manually to create the trail of commission payments. No intention of using the shop or any payment gateway - they just want to use the affiliate program.
Does that mean that it just won't work as it needs a payment gateway?
    3) I go to the clients details, but can't find the referrer details.
Am I missing something, or they are not shown?
If I go to the referrer, their activity just shows someone used their link, and does not even show the client. Should it now show the client details.
Clutching at straws, until I have to tell the client, Affiliate programs as advertised won't work, unless you have a gateway! and without that gateway is there is no possible way to identify the affiliate or their client.

Well here is the answer, after many days with support.
    I could not understand -
    1) why it would not work
    2) I could not see any reference to the Customer in the Affiliate activity sheet - just a comment that the affiliate link was used.
    3) I could not find any reference to the Affiliate within the Customer data.
Reason: It only works if the customer buys something in the shop after getting there using the affiliate link.
In other words if they go there by the link, but close down their browser, and then return later and go directly to the website, and buys something, the sale will not be registered within the affiliates commission.
Worse than that, by not storing the the affiliate's right to that customer's sales, it stops the use of the affiliate system for the thousands of businesses that could use the system but don't use the shop, but may enter orders manually.

  • Commit not working on web

Using Forms 6i Client/Server & on App Server
I have a form that runs in both client/server and on the app server.
In C/S it commits with no problems. On the App Server the commit does not work. No errors are produced. There is no ddl_commit in the form, just a straightforward 'commit'.
Can anyone shed any light on this mystery?

After further investigation, I have managed to replicate the problem in the Client/Server environment by changing the run time compatability mode in the form level properties to 5.0. It seems that 5.0 behavior is carried out by default when the form is run on the Application Server.
The problem was to do with a non display item having it's required property set to YES but not being populated. On the web, this item was being validated where as client server (where the runtime compatability mode property was 4.5 in the form), it isn't.
The form on-error trigger prevented the error from being displayed but once I got around that, I was able to track down the errant item! I guess the answer is to set the run time compatability mode to 5.0 when moving to the App Server to ensure consistent behavior with the Client/Server Environment.
The property and the differences between 4.5 and 5.0 are documented in the Forms Help system.

  • I would like to be able to have any cookie I choose to accept on a given website be deleated as soon as I leave or close that website so that my surfing does not get tracked from site to site. I don't see an option for that. Is any one working on that?

I don't want my surfing to tracked from site to site.
Some sites require cookies be turned on in order to access the data I want or to perform a transaction.
Right now, I have Firefox set to not accept cookies until I run into a site that requires cookies be accepted.
Once I need to turn cookies on, I return to "Options" and select accept cookies but not 3rd party cookies.
I will then be surfing along and occasionally check what cookies have been placed. There may be several placed I did not know were placed. I assume my surfing has been being tracked and I don't like that as a point of privacy.
Is there a privacy setting I am missing, an application or extension I can download, or is the Mozilla team working on this as a feature?

As far as I know, [https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/ the Classic Theme Restorer add-on] is the only way move the Reload button outside the address bar.
    # Install [https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/ Classic Theme Restorer] and restart Firefox when prompted.
    # Open the Add-ons Manager (Ctrl+Shift+A; Mac: Command+Shift+A), then the Extensions category.
    # Next to Classic Theme Restorer, click the Options button.
    # On the Main tab, make sure "Movable back-forward button" and "Hide urlbars stop & reload buttons" are checked. You might also want to check "Combine stop & reload buttons". Close the options window when done.
    # Right-click an empty area of the tab bar and choose Customize.
    # Drag the Back/Forward, Stop and Reload buttons onto the navigation toolbar.
    # Click the Exit Customize button in the lower right corner when done.
That being said, I should point out that you can reload pages in other ways.
    * Right-click any tab and choose Reload.
    * Right-click an empty area of the page and choose Reload.
    * Press F5.
    * Press Ctrl+R (Mac: Command+R).

  • Problem receiving from sender, showing in SmtpReceive log but not Message Tracking

Our Exchange 2007 server (SBS2k8 really) has had problems receiving mail from a certain sender the last few weeks.  With the SMTPReceive set to verbose, I can see the mail coming in but it never shows up in the message tracking logs.
Looking at similar issues, I thought maybe the content filtering agent might have been grabbing it, so I set up a transport rule to take any mail from this particular domain and set the SCL to 0 as well as bcc a copy of it to myself.  But I just noticed
another entry in yesterday's smtpreceive log and that didn't do the trick (or forward a copy to me for that matter).
I'm including some samples from our SMTP log.  I can see that when it works, after the 354 Start mail input line, our server sends a 250 2.6.0 code confirming the message has been queued for delivery, at which point the remote server sends a QUIT and
we close it.  But when it fails, there's nothing after the 354 line.
    Example of good transmission:

  • Barcode printing -Barcode is not being scanned by the scanner.

    Hi,
I am working on a rtf XML template creation for Pick slip Report. I have field called delivery_id which should be printed as barcode. I
followed the instructions as per documents: 411899.1 and 373001.1.I downlaoded
a demo version of the barcode font.(IDAutomationSC128L).
I added it to the template . and registered the font in XMl publisher and ran the whole process
which generates the report output. The report gave me a output as per the
template witha a barcode. But the barcode reader did not read it. the barcode
reader(I am using the Intermec Oracle Ready CK30 Handheld Computer) that I have
is compataible with the following fonts.
    Supported Bar Code Symbologies
    Code 39, Code 39 Full ASCII, Code 93, Code128, UCC/EAN-128, Codabar, Code 11,
    DUN-14/16, EAN-8, EAN-13, 2 digit supplement, 5
    digit supplement, UPCA, UPC-E, 2/5, 2/5 I, 2/5 Matrix, EAN. UCC Composite, 2/5
Industrial, MSI Plessey, Postnet, Code16K, Codablock A, Datamatrix, Maxicode,
    PDF417, MicroPDF417, QR Code.
I have copied the sample encoder code from the XML Publisher user guide but when I tried to create the class file using javac command I got the following warnings

Can any one please let me know how to chnage the code so that these warnings wont be there.
I got a class file eventhough there were warnings. and i put that class file in the path /u6/u0/ting/comn/java/oracle/apps/xdo/template/rtf/util
I am getting a report with barcode. but the scanner is not reading it. ?
DO i have to put the font in reports server path. I have put the font to this path in the server :athena2:/u6/u0/oracle/trng/appl/fnd/11.5.0/reports.
    Please help.
Is there any stpes that i am missing.
    Thanks,
    Nisha

    Hi Nisha
If you are using a code 128 barcode font then you need to call an encoding class to transform the input, delivery_id from say '123456789' to an encoded string string, say '!wrwr34353'
It looks like you are on the right track. Some thoughts:
    1. You say its a demo font - are there any limitations that IDAutomation has documented e.g. it will not handle certain characters in the barcode font?
    2. You should not really copy and paste from the documentation - that was an example class. IDAutomation, I know provides the java code algorithms to encode the data correctly for their fonts. That said the basic structure of the class is good to use you just need to plug IDAutomation's java code into it
    3. You get warnings, this should not prevent the .class file being generated.
    4. To test that the class is being called correctly. Change the font on your delivery field to a humanly readable font, say Arial. Now run the template against the data - you should see the encoded value for the delivery id in the output. If its the same as the data in the XML delivery_id element then your class is not being called correctly. this could be caused by:
    a. The class is not in the classpath for the publisher engine - from your directory path it looks like you are using EBS and you are putting it in the right place. Whats the field contents for the barcode vendor registration field?
    b. The class is not encoding the result correctly - to test this and c. you should add a 'main' method that you can call to test the class outside of EBS
    c. the class is erroring out somewhere - see above
If you are getting a barcode on your output then the font is in the right place. Are you testing in Template Builder or on the server? If the hardware is not reading it then I would suggest you check 1 and 2 above and then carry out step 4 to check its being encoded.
you might also check out this blof article on the encoding - http://blogs.oracle.com/xmlpublisher/2006/06/advanced_barcode_support.html

  • Lion Server postfix mail not being delivered to mailboxes. "SMTP restriction `reject_invalid_helo_hostname' after `permit' is ignored" and "connect to private/policy: Connection refused" errors.

All, Im stumped. In fact I have been on the phone with Apple Support and this has been escalated to the top engineers, as I think its got them too..
    Anyway, here is my problem..
I'm running an Mac Mini with OS X 10.7.4 Server. I have had mail running on it for 2 months or so, without any issues. The mail was actually migrated from 10.6 in March, and It actually went smoothly. I have 3 domains which all recieve mail and they all work (or did up until 2 weeks ago)..
So the story is this.. I can send mail from my domains, without issue.  imap and dovecot must be working.. cause all the stored mail, can be read with the mail IMAP client.. I can even transfer mail messages from one mailbox to another with Mail client. Sending mail is a breeze, it still works and the recipients still recieve their mail. But I noticed I wasnt getting any mail at all from those mailboxes... no mail, no spam, nothing.. which is unusal. I fired up Server admin and checked out the SMTP log, and this is what it showed for every email recieved: (xxxxxx is just me hiding sensitive info)

Ok, now what is odd, is these rejected messages are not even appearing in the mail queue in Server Admin. I have no idea why there are not being delivered
Ive checked my postfix main.cf file and master.cf files they both look ok.. Ive even replaced them with the main.cf.defualt.10.7 and master.cf.default.10.7 files and to no avail... same problem..
    So in summary
    I can send mail out
IMAP is working on the client end (thus dovecot is) exsisting stored emails can be accessed, read, moved unread etc..
mail is coming into the sever, but its being rejected. there is NO rejection email sent back to the sender.
mail is recieved by postfix, but cyrus isnt doing anything with it.. I have no idea where it goes...
Could anyone shed light on this...

    # flow control. This feature is turned on by default, although it

Ok 1st one. The warning restriction message relates to this line in main.cf:
    smtpd_helo_restrictions = permit_sasl_authenticated  permit_mynetworks  check_helo_access hash:/etc/postfix/helo_access  reject_non_fqdn_hostname  reject_invalid_hostname  permit reject_invalid_helo_hostname
The last reject occurs after the single word "permit" and is ignored.
    However, that's not the problem.
I'm not exactly sure what's happening, but this might be a clue.
It would appear that either postfix is not being able to create the socket for private/policy or it's somehow created with the wrong permissions.  You might need to ramp up the debug level to get a better idea.
You could check if it's being created by "netstat -a | grep private/policy" in terminal.
My guess is that it's not being created because there is no setup statement in your master.cf file, but I don't understand why postfix would be looking for it if it isn't set up.  Private/policy I think relates to grey listing.  Maybe gives you a hint.

Nope, Verizon won't help you, at least not without a court order.

  • CD's Not Being Recognised in iTunes 10.5

    Hello,
I have installed the new version of iTunes (10.5) and everytime I put in a cd into my drive to import/rip into my library and iPod, the cd is not being displayed in my devices and not accessing gracenotes. I have the checkboxes ticked to automatically get the track names from the Internet and the when cd inserted option is selected to ask to import.
The only way I can get iTunes to recognise the cd is if I close down iTunes and re-start it again.
Is this a bug in 10.5 or is there something I can do to fix it?

I have the same problem, that when iTunes is open it does not recognize when a CD is inserted.  I don't have an answer but I have a workaround that may be similar to yours.
The problem occurred the first time I tried to import a CD after having updated iTunes on October 12.  I think this is the first version to support iCloud (which I don't use).  That version did not have a Help Menu.  I reinstalled iTunes and now have 10.5.0.142.  I did get a Help Menu but still no recognition of CDs.
I can import CDs if I close iTunes and let AutoPlay take over.  I have AutoPlay set to "Import songs using iTunes".  "Show songs using iTunes"  is closer to the setting you want.  When the CD is inserted AutoPlay opens iTunes and iTunes sees the CD.

  • Samsung note II, known issue of aol mail not being received on phone

I spent hours on the phone with Customer Service this past Wednesday & Thursday because my aol mail is not being received on my new phone. I just did some research online, and found out this has been an issue with AOL and Verizon since December 2012. The Customer Service rep told me this just happened the past week! What a bold faced lie!
I purchased this phone on or about July 3, and the AOL mail was working fine until this past Wednesday.
This is a know issue, and yet the lie right to your face about it.
I had a C/S rep tell me he would call me back later in the day, before he left work. I told him, I have heard that before. Oh, no, I will call you. Of course he didn't call. Your C/S reps think they can say whatever they want, but the calls have been monitored or tracked someway by your computer system.
I see many others have the same problem with the Samsung Note II and their email accounts.
Since December this has been going on, don't you think it's time you fixed the problem?
Two years ago, when I spent $200 on a phone, I said never again. But yet I wanted a 5.5" screen so I paid up! Never again!

I FINALLY spoke to someone today who was able to solve my problem so far.
In the PLAY STORE....look for K9 email app.....and download that...put in your AOL email address and password. You should now be able to receive your aol email on your phone.
It seems he has a Note II also, and had the same problem.
You would think that MANAGEMENT would tell all their C/S reps how to solve the problem. I guess they would rather lose a customer who has been with them for 10 yrs.

I have a lot of grief with this version of Windows Media Player.
It is very buggy and frustrating to use.
I have my Music library on a QNAP NAS, which is as reliable as they come.
System notifications make it not save changes.  It also does not do a good job of interpreting albums and artists from folders.  Changes to track names are not saved, nor are tracks moved to other albums, renamed albums, changes to genre, artist
or date.  It separates and merges albums/tracks without sense or reason.  Some changes I've made up to 4 times, then closed WMP and re-started my machine to check if it has/hasn't saved the changes.  Often it has not.
This is the first time I've used WMP in this capacity, and I do not recommend it.
    New service pack please.
