Affiliate Program Site

Hello I am trying to make my site an affiliate site, how could I have users log in and view their earnings?
my site is blazinginterest.com and I want to know if there are any muse tricks i can use to simplify this process. I will be having traffic directed from twitter to this site.
Thank you, HD

Hello,
If you host your site with Business Catalyst, there is a built in function for this in there, known as "Affiliate Programs" (part of the "Web Commerce" site plan only), which allows you to create affiliate programs, track them, create secure areas where the customer can track their earnings/commissions etc.
More details about Business Catalyst Affiliate programs in the links below:

Hope this helps.

  • Recommendations on Affiliate Program?

Being that I am new with ebooks and ibook author and etc.  I am still learning.  Now that I have a book that has been accepted by ibooks...
I am not ready to enter the next phase...marketing.  However I know that the affiliate program is a next and important step to get the word out about my book
In order to do so I need to have a webpage.  What sort of webpage is acceptable?  I have submitted this sort of question to the affiliate support but have not heard a response yet.  I need to know if it is important for me to have a Domain set in place...or can I do a free webpage through like Yahoo or is it possible to use Facebook...
What do I need to do to make sure my webpage is most likely to be considered acceptable for the affiliate program?
Any and all help is greatly appreciated...
    Aaron

I don't think the affiliate program really has any relevance to marketing your book.  it is for earning commissions from links to iTunes content from your web site.  All the info you need is in the FAQ:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/affiliates/resources/documentation/faq_en.html
It says "We do not currently accept social profiles for applications.", so Facebook is not eligible.  But Facebook is probably still a good way to get people to know about your book.

  • Setting up Affiliate program

    Hello,
I am trying to build a site for a Not For Profit that wants to allow others (affiliates) to sell their DVD's. They want the Affiliates to be able to login and see their sales. Does anyone know of a program / HTML code that would work with iWeb? I know 11mystics has an affiliate program but they do not disclose how it was set up using iWeb. Thanks!

Do you have affiliate admin software already? Having an affiliate system is quite a complex business to business affair if you're going to do it properly so that the affiliates actually make some money or attain rewards for advertising your not for profit business.
In my experience, affiliate systems are special ledger focussed CRM systems.

  • Affiliate Program Cookie problem

We have recently set up some affiliate programs and all is going well but I have noticed a lot of one staff members activity is showing up as affiliate activity. I am assuming this person has used an affiliate link to our site and is now being tracked as an affiliate. Is there a specific cookie I can clear on his pc to remedy this?
    Many thanks,
    Mick.

We are an iTunes affiliate, too, and can't get a straight answer as to whether our playlists will disappear on Oct. 1. Does anyone know?

  • Affiliate program or RZ or ? @ BestBuyMobile?

Just wanted to say, Bestbuy corp and Mobile B&M stores have been amazing in my area. I was looking over the affiliate program since I've sent so many people to the BBM store. Does it apply in any way to B&M, and if not, does the affiliate program count for contract phones. If so, does it apply to the bestbuy mobile solutions site, or only bestbuy.com ? Sorry for all the questions, I promise I looked and researched first.

  • Affiliate program question

I know you run your affiliate program through Commission Junction. I was rejected and I can't imagine why as you would get education business from my site. Please contact me and let me know why you rejected my application. My website is The Incredible Art Department.

  • How do i log into Itunes Affiliate Program?

I havent logged since 2010.. but now i cant find a login page

The affiliate program has a resource site that might help you figure it out:
         http://www.apple.com/itunes/affiliates/resources/
Chances are you have a LinkShare account that you need to login to - iTunes uses LinkShare in the US/CA/MX/JP for managing affiliate partners.

  • Looking for a third-party affiliate program that will integrate well with Adobe Business Catalyst.

    Dear Adobe Community,
I am looking for a third-party Affiliate Program that will integrate well with the Adobe Business Catalyst platform.
The requirement is fairly basic, i.e.,  to track multiple affiliates and down-stream affiliate-to-affiliate referrals. Also looking to report and display these referrals an affiliate’s dashboard.
We have looked into Affiliate Program Software, Affiliate Tracking Software Marketing and would like to entertain other options before making a decision.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! —Thank You!
    Kind Regards,

For what it is worth, I am a fan of NuGen, I have both SEQ 1 and 2 and two stereo enhancing tools (stereoizer and stereoplacer I think they're called). Since I have the SEQ 1 it replaces all Channel EQ's. And the stereotools sound great and very lush, in stead of the more usual cheezy combfilterthingies that pass for stereo enhancing tools.
And I actually like the interfaces. Simple, but stylish, functional and ergonomic (in this case meaning you can see all parameters in a quick glance, no guessing at settings).

  • Where does the commission come from in the iTunes affiliates program?

The developer's cut? Or Apple's cut?
I am interested in this affiliates program...but curious as to where the commission stems from.  Logically, I would think Apple.  Most the time when I try to think logically about Apple, I'm wrong.

I am a developer, with several apps on the app store...
My business partner is wondering whether clicks on our own links will cut from our own commission...I don't think so...I would think we would have seen that in iTunes Connect by now, from some other Apple Affiliate selling OUR apps...

    Hey joshuafromisr,
If you resintall iTunes, it should fix the issue. The following document will go over how to remove iTunes fully and then reinstall. Depending on what version of Windows you're running you'll either follow the directions here:
Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925
    or here:

  • Does the affiliate program cover Secure Zone purchases?

    Bit of a pre-sales question.
Can I confirm that purchases of secure zone access are covered under the Affiliate program?

Chatted with support last night and the answer seems to be no. Purchases made on secure zones are not covered under the affiliate program - the affiliate program only works with ecommerce.
Secure Zones seem to be the ideal way of creating paid subscribable content but the affiliate program will not work on these purchases.
It seems users being subscribed via ecommerce would not be subscribed after purchase so this is not an option.

A third party solution might be the go. The Affiliate functionality in general might be dodgy.

  • Affiliate program

hi, i was wondering is you guys had an affiliate program

    "Affiliate program" for what, precisely?

Hey ! At the moment I am creating a eBook, which should contain links to iTunes.
Does anyone know, if it is necessary to join the affiliate program for this ?? Cause I don`t want to ;-)

    Hi Bruce,
I'm getting closer. I actually tried a variety of  expressions, such as "== null" and yours, but the problem persists.
I am settling on the following, but there is a hangup related to the field that is being looked at for the condition that I will explain in a minute. Here's the script:
    if
    (ViolationsTable.ViolCorrSection.ViolationsText.DebitVal.isNull || ViolationsTable.ViolCorrSection.ViolationsText.DebitVal.rawValue.length == 0)
    ViolationsTable.ViolCorrSection.instanceManager.removeInstance(parent.parent.index);
    else
    app.alert ("Warning Statement);
    ViolationsTable.ViolCorrSection.instanceManager.removeInstance(parent.parent.index);
What happens is that, no matter which row in my table I'm in when I click the remove instance button, the script is always looking to the DebitVal field in the first row of the table. So, if the first row is empty, the message box won't appear for the removal of any row in my table. If the first row has a value in DebitVal, then the deletion of any row in the table will trigger the message box.
I need a way to specify the script to look at the DebitVal field in the row that I am clicking in, without messing up the remove instance command.
    Ideas?
    Dave
