AFP Shares are not accessable after updating to 10.8.2

Hi,
I have just upgraded a server to run 10.8.2 as well as the latest version of the Server App. I can now not connect to the server from the various mac clients in the office using AFP. I can however connect from the Windows 7 clients that are using SMB. So far I've tried rebooting, shutting down and starting file sharing, re-setup a share to no avail. Any thoughts?

Log out of iCloud in the System/iCloud preference pane and disable Photo Stream in iPhoto's Photo Share preference pane. Then log back in and re-enable, respectively. That should jump start Photo Stream.

This seems to be most common with lower resolution pictures. You can go into settings > general > accessibility and turn reduce motion motion off and then try to rescale. Or user a higher resolution picture, which works better with the new OS.

When i run a dcpromo on my windows 2012 server (all dc's are windows 2012)
On the new domain controller i don't have sysvol or netlogon share.
All the sugestions i found in social refer to FRS but in server 2012 DFS is used, no idea how to troubel shoot this problem.

Some images are not loading after update and have explored options and settings without result

a lot of sites visited do not show images. ie google, weather maps, my home page for isp. have tried most suggestions and has occurred only since f/fox update.

Typekit fonts are not working after updating to Muse CC 2014

I had updated to Adobe Muse CC 2014 just recently. The first few times I used it on my muse file, it was fine. This morning when I opened the file, the text boxes using Typekit fonts blew out of proportion. I have not edited the file at all, just opened it. My site is a mess. Any idea what happened? The font I am using is Source Sans Pro.

Shares are not exported unless a user in logged in

It seems that after the update from OSX Lion Server to Mountain Lion Server, the AFP shares are not visible to the clients until I log in to the server.
If I'm not logged on the server, the only shares seen by the clients are the 2 shares "Public" and "Administrator's Public Folder".
Has anybody noticed this ?

You are in Recovery Mode. Follow the instructions below to recover your iPad.
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button.
5. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad. Data will be lost.

- repair permissions using Disk Utilty
- re-install just safari 2.0 from Tiger disk1 http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=301229
MUST FIRST REMOVE THE Safari.pkg file from: HD_1 > Library > Recipts folder > safari.pkg.

I have exactly the same issue as everyone above. I only get sound through the slider on the ringtone in settings and through my headphones. I do not get any sound anywhere else at all.
I Have tried:
- Updating to iOS 6.1.3
-re starting the device
-checking that the device is not muted. My slider switch is set to mute rather than lock and is unmuted.
-going into general settings and reset all settings
-the device reset several times (waiting until I saw the all important apple logo)
-removing the last few apps I installed.
Nothing at all has worked, please help!

Caller Id not working after update

My caller id pictures are not working after the update.

Still having the same problem. It appears to be a problem with City ID. Local Verizon office told me it could be uninstalled. I can't seem to find out how to uninstall an application that has the uninstall button "greyed out". After forcing stop the application, it turns itself back on after every call. When that happens I lose the city the call is coming from, but I still get the number showing. Other times I don't receive anything. I NEVER know who's calling me and it's getting annoying. Hell, with AT&T, I knew who was calling me....just couldn't stay connected. Now if I miss a call..I don't have any clue as to who to call back.
Get this City ID crap app off my phone....that's all I want...it's not too much to ask....please...!

My 3G connection is not working after updating to iOS 6.1. I have tried all possible solutions like resetting the network, restarting the phone etc.
With this kind of bugs in every update, Apple will no more be THE Apple.
There are bugs which have not been fixed even in the subsequent updates. SMSs going blank being one of them.

I have since managed to sort mine out - when the phone was updated it wiped out the network settings.
I was able to reset them by manually putting the information in:
Settings - General - Cellular - Cellular Data Network and then I put in the correct details for APN, username and Password in the relevant sections and now it works OK.
Hopefully it will work for others too
