Afraid to hook into I-tunes

Hello All,
My Hard drive recently took a dump so I had to get a Drive and re-install Windows and I-Tunes. Unfortunately my complete library on I tunes has been replaced with a blank I-tunes library. I am now afraid if I plug in my I-pod, it'll sinc up with my blank library and my I-pod, like my newly installed I-tunes will be blank as well. Most of my songs, I got off my CD's, but about a quarter of them I downloaded off the I-Tunes store. All my games and T.V. shows have been downloaded off I-tunes as well....Any advice on how I can regain my former I Tunes library in all its wonderful glory?

You can use a 3rd party program to copy things back onto your iPod.

Voice Memos won't copy into i Tunes

If I plug in my nano latest model to i Tunes I find that the ipod lists 10 voice memo's. If I look at the i Tunes library it only shows 1 voice memo & this is listed as being on a playlist. I want to get them all into iTunes. If I right click on the the ipods voice memo tab & click sync all I get is a message about replacing all of my picture & no mention of no voice memos.
How do I get these memo's into I Tunes or at least onto my PC?

I would like to know how to insure that all track from a CD I rip into i-tunes all go into the same file regardless of the artist on the CD. I was recdently importing an All Time Low CD into i-Tunes for my daughter and because one track featured a guest a

i would like to be able to insure that when i import a CD into i-Tunes that all tracks from that CD go into a single file for that album in their proper order regardless of whether or not there is a featured artist on one or two tracks or whatever. i recentl;y imported an All Time Low CD into i-Tunes for my daughter and because one song featured a guest artist i-Tunes placed that song in a seperate folder and so when i synced my daughters i-Pod Touch that one track is not with the rest of the tracks form the album and has to be listened to seperately. The song is from the same album and should be where it belongs with the rest of that album so she can listen to the entire album with the tracks in the proper order. I am sure that this can be done i just don't know how.

Edit the Name of the problem song to Name [Feat. Guest]
Change the Artist of that song to All Time Low

What you want cannot be done. iTunes has its quirks, and the above is the kind of workaround needed to make the media display sensibly on any device. The article I pointed you to has others that you may find useful in future.

If you are being prompted for her Apple ID password when updating apps it means that there are one or more apps on your phone that were purchased with her ID. (Apps and their updates are permanently tied to the ID used to purchase them regardless of the settings on your phone.) It's possible that you are inadvertently syncing her apps to your phone. . The only way to stop this is to delete these apps from your phone. You may want to check which apps are checked on the Apps tab of your iTunes sync settings before syncing next time to be sure her apps aren't selected.
To change the Apple ID used for purchasing, go to Settings>Store>Apple ID, tap the ID shown, sign out, sign back in using the ID you want to use.

I just purchased an additional ipod. When I turn it on it tells me I have to plug into i tunes. I can't get any other screen to display on the device. I have plugged it into my computer and tried to sync but the sync button is not highlighted as a selection. I can't figure out what to do.

It's telling you to plug into a computer loaded with iTunes! You must highlight the iPod on the left side to make the Sync button available. This is because multiple devices can be simultaneously synced (wirelessly) from the same iTunes and you must decide which device you're syncing.
Also, Please read Chapter 2.
There have been some problems accessing pages on the Apple web site. If the hyperlink gives you a "We're sorry" message, try again.

Is there any way to hook into the SQL report pagination process?

I have a SQL report (based on EMP) with a radiogroup row selector.
The scenario 1 and 2 are in place
1) When the employee row radio group is clicked the P900007_JOB the text item is populated with the JOB for the employee.
2) When the page is initially displayed or submitted via the button the first row’s radio group is programmatically clicked and therefore populates the additional job information in P900007_JOB

Once the report has been displayed and the next or previous pagination is used then none of the radio groups will be selected and the data in the P900007_JOB text item will still display the job of the last selected employee row.
What I require is on pagination some sort of mechanism to either
a) Call the page_init() that should then set the first row as selected and populate the text item via the programmatic click. (preferred option)
b) OR blank out the additional text item P900007_JOB.
Is there any way to hook into the pagination process?
I have a work around – Set the ‘Enable Partial Page Refresh’ to ‘No’ but this means a full refresh every time the pagination is used.

There seems to be a routine $a_report that I can use for the pagination but I am finding it difficult to get the current first and last record values that I would need to pass. I've seen references to below in the form but when I'm using partial refresh they do not seem to change.

I can't import certain CDs into I tunes

Hello, I am having trouble importing Cd's into I tunes. I will put the CD in and it will only import the first 5 seconds of the first song and then it will stop and the computer no longer recognizes the CD drive. If I reboot my computer the drive comes back and works just fine. This only happens on certain CDs of mine, but not all of them. Most Cd's I own import just fine. This is not a matter of copyrighted CD's causing me trouble either because most of the Cd's I want to import were made way before anyone ever thought that they could make Cd's at home on their computer. These Cd's also work fine in other CD players (such as my car) but don't in my computer.
I ran the I tunes diagnostics for my CD drive and I came up with two errors which are as follows...
Audio CD reading failed. Error Code: 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2.
To play or import music from a CD in this drive, you must be logged in as an administrator.
Get drive speed failed. Error Code: 2020.
I don't understand why I am getting the first code since I am logged on as an administrator. As for the second code I have no idea what that means. The latest version of Itunes is installed and I have looked for driver updates for my CD drive (SONY CD-RW CRX230EE, Rev 2YS3) but I cannot find any on the Sony support web site. No, unfortunately I don't think we have the same issue. The CD's that I put into my drive that don't work are professionally made CD's from a major label, not burned CD's. The drive does everything it is supposed to do (such as burn CD's) but for these 5 or 6 certain CD's that I have it gets about 5 seconds into the first song and quits. The drive disappears from My Computer and I have to Reboot the computer. Once I have done that the drive reappears.
I do think that I might just have to break down and try to call Sony directly. I have a sneaking suspicion though that I will get lost in a endless maize of "Press 3 for help with your drive" "were sorry all of our representatives are busy now" "your estimated wait time is 5... hours" and so on and so forth. How do I import movie files from my external hard drive into I-Tunes?

I have a whole load of movies and tv shows stored on an external hard drive. I would like to import a few of them into I-Tunes and then on to my Ipad because I'm going travelling tonight.
I'm dragging the file into I-Tunes but it won't copy. They are mp4 files.
I have one mkv file which I am trying to drag also.
If anyone has any tips I would be grateful.

im not sure why the mp4's wont go i, but the mkv is not a supported format. i would look into some sort of video converter.

I am using German OS therefore maybe the items are called differently in English:
1) Go into the main menu
2) Select "Alerts"
3) select the Profile you like to adjust
4) Select App Alerts
5) Select Email
6) You sould see your 3 mail accounts listed
7) Select the one you like to "mute" and you can set everything (sound, LED, vibration etc. individually for this acount)

double click that and if u see the folder notes then drag your doc into that

Commercial dvd's are encrypted to stop you from copying them. Breaking the encryption is illegal.

Is there any way to hook into the TextModel from ICompositionStyle?

When creating a new custom attribute in IAttrReport there is the ability to hook into the ICompositionStyle interface. But I don't see any way from there to see which TextIndex it is composing. Does anyone know if it's possible?
