AFS (Apparel & Footware) Standared BI Content

Dear All,
Scenario:- We have Bi 7.0 system, Currently in BW server, I have two source systems.
1. IS-Mill (ECC6)
2. Newly created for AFS (ECC6).
and I have performed following steps in AFS R3 and BI
1. After source system creation in BI, I have activated necessary datasources in AFS.
2. Replicated datasources in BW system.
3. Installed Cube 0AFMM_C01 ( AFS Purchasing) from BI content using grouping u2013 In dataflow Before and Afterward.
4. In Data warehousing Workbench u2013 Cube 0AFMM_C01 activated
Issues encountered :-
1. Configured datasource objects not being displayed under the installed cube.
2. and ASF update rule are showing release 3.x
I want to know you all that does SAP has AFS BI content 7.0??
if not how to use installed AFS BI content??

Material master Standared Business Contents for MDM 7.1 sp 06

Gurus,
I am not able to find standared business contents for material repository on service market place. can some one guide me with exact steps and location I can get it from.
I am missing some step.

Hi,
In AFS (apparel and footwear solution) ERP6, we have a requirement to update outbound delivery header's special processing indicator (LIKP-SDABW) via XI. Which is the best approach, IDOC or BAPI-call from XI, and why? If IDOC which IDOC can we use?

If you want to make huge volume of updation then you should go for idoc.
otherwise you go for Bapi call from xi or RFC.

I have been allocated to a project where I am working on SAP SD for sports giant. Client have implemented SAP AFS for its processing in SAP SD. Although the overall processing is same as normal SAP but there is difference in the basic functioning of AFS industry.Can any one provide me any book name or site where i can learn more about SAP AFS.

In addition what you have mentioned, I would like to add some more inputs ( I came to know after posting the issue)
I found that
Material type does not depend upon the industry type.
Material type defines whether product produced in inhouse or expternal procurement
(like FERT - Proc Type is X (Inhse), ROH - Proc Type is F (Ext) - MRP 2 View)
whether stock values are updated or not, due to inventory movements
Whether material is valuated or not ( most of the material are valuated, but some of the material types
are not valuated like KMAT (configurable material) & NLAG (Non Stock material)
What views that are associated with the material type
For details of material types the tcode is OMS2

AFS Invoice SMARTFORM... is there one ?

Hi,
Is there an <b>AFS</b> (Apparel Footware Solution) <b>Invoice Smart Form</b> and data-gathering/print program supplied by SAP?
I expect an AFS Invoice would show the grid values (sizes) for a material.
I see there is a SAPscript form J_3A_RVINVOICE01 and program RVADIN01... but we do not want to use a SAPscript form.
We are currently using the SAP Invoice Smart Form LB_BIL_INVOICE and print program RLB_INVOICE. But... this form does not show the grid values (sizes) for a material.
SAP version SAP ERP Central Component 5.0

Invoice Smart Form LB_BIL_INVOICE and print program RLB_INVOICE does not have any grid(size) data for AFS materials... all the grid(size) values for a material are accumulated to one record for the material...
So... if there is a SHIRT sizes Small, Medium, Large with a quantity of 1 each...
...the Form gets 1 record for SHIRT quantity 3...
Maybe some configuration in our system is wrong... because this same shows in VF03... no size detail at all...
I'll try the SAPscript... but I expect no size detail will be here either because it does not show in VF03...

Its a new implementation, do i need to activate all the infobject and activate dso and infocube and query.
Is the above sequence right? Do anyone have document on activating BI content both in Source and Target system.
I went thru few documents, but its not clear. Currently planning to Integrate BI with E-recruiting.
I know how to do in RSA1, collecting the objects and installing it. But pls confirm the real time environment how do we activate the standar business contents and make the standard reports work. The issues we get when activate and precautions and sequence.

You need to install the dependent object first.
Please select the necessary grouping option and do the installation.
We have various grouping option.
1Indata flow beforeBefore
2 In data flow After
3 Before and after.
4.Necessary object.
According to your requirement select the grouping option and do the installation.

Dear,
Fert generator is available in IS-AFS (Apparel & Footwear solution).
At the end of a sales order configuration, in which you configure a configurable material,
if no material variant matches the sales order configuration, the system creates a new material variant copying the configuration from the sales order line. This is what the fert generator use for.
