After 6.0 update I can't get at synchronization activity boxes

Hello, can anybody help me? I have a Torch running 6.0. it updated last night and ever since then the synchronization activity boxes appear to the top left hand side mostly off screen on my laptop. This makes it almost impossible to accept/reject synchronization changes to calendar and contacts etc.
I've tried grabbing and dragging but they won't move. Can anybody suggest how I can correct this?

Try doing a clean uninstall of the BlackBerry Desktop Manager as shown in KB02206.
Download a new copy of the Desktop Manager from www.blackberry.com/software/desktop and reinstall it.

The problem went away after two days.
If Thunderbird was not automatically updated, the problem must have been RCN.

After downloading the update I can't get the new photos app to appear in my photo browser when trying to add a photo in excel.

After I downloaded the new update the new photo app will not appear in my photo browser list when I try to insert a picture in my excel document. How can I add the new photo app to my browser list?

After my recent update, I can't get my music to copy to my itunes library. I've tried both adding file and folder, but nothing works. Has anyone else had this problem, and how did you resolve it?

I've tried uninsstalling an re-installing itues sevral times, and still can't get it to work. I don't know what else to try.

iTunes will silently ignore any request to add files that it can't get access to. It is hard to know for certain but it seems that some requests go via the current user account and some via the system account. Might be worth checking that both your account and system have full access to all the files you are trying to connect, and that they are not hidden.
Right-click on your main iTunes folder and click Properties, then go to the Security tab and click Advanced. If necessary grant your account and SYSTEM full control of this folder, subfolders and files, then tick the option to replace permissions on child objects which will repair permissions throughout the library. This is the XP dialog but Windows 7 shouldn't be too different.
If it won't let you change the permissions use the Owner tab to take ownneship from an account with administror privileges.

After 2.3 update I can't get 3G to come on or stay one. Any suggestions ?

I noticed that since the 2.3 update that I can't seem to get 3G to activate. I do have data roaming on.
Sometimes when I turn off wifi the 3G symbol flashes, but it goes away quickly.
This happens regardless of location, but I am testing it at home where I did have 3G coverage in the past. So I expect it to work.
Any suggestions?

This is stupid.
I did the *228 - 2 option a few days ago without an issues. Now when I try *228 it fails to dial and tells me to contact customer service. Hard to do without a working phone.
**bleep** at VZ and Moto need to do a better job with software updates. Between these issues and the new data plans i will be willing to go elsewhere when the contact is up.
Going to reboot phone and see if that helps.

150:30 means the licensing failed. Photoshop can't be moved like other programs from another drive or from backup.
I would suggest a reinstall to fix it. Anytime you move Photoshop from from drive to another, it breaks licensing. A install is the quickest way. to fix it.

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.

Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

Is there any succesful answer to the many questions about not functioning wifi after installing mountain lion? Also when awakes after sleep MB frezees, wifi can´t get active, dock does not show, in general MB does´t respond. All this in mountain lion.

I updated my IPhone 3GS to the newest software version, now I can't get past the activation stage. AT

I updated my iPhone 3GS to the new version 6.1.3 and installed the new software. After doing this, I can't get past the activation stage in the process. I had AT&T and the phone doctors look at it and they couldn't figure it out. Apple wants $175 for me to send it in but I shouldn't have to pay for an update malfunction. I am at the mercy of the good folks in Apple land to help me.

Is your carrier still AT&T? What error message do you get when you try to activate it?
Have you tried a new SIM? Was the phone jailbroken? Was the computer you used to update it ever used to jailbreak a phone? In general, this problem is caused by one of the following:
1. Your antivirus is blocking access to gs.apple.com.
2. Your phone is jailbroken.
3. Your computer has been used at some time in the past to jaibreak some iOS device (not necessarily the phone with the problem), and its network database was corrupted by the hacking software that was used.
4. Apple's activation servers are down (very rare, and never for more than an hour or so).
For 1. try disabling your antivirus.
For 2. & 3. you need to go somewhere other than an apple forum for help. Although you can try deleting lines containing gs.apple.com from your "hosts" file on your computer.

After ios 7 update I can no longer iMessage

After the latest update I can no longer send an iMessage. I have about 6 messages that were undeliverable. I searched the Internet and found many others are having the same issues. I asked my granddaughter to iMessage me from her phone and she said it went as a text message which I didn't get because I've blocked texting.
I re-booted, reset my network settings as suggested and nothing has done any good. There were postings that Apple is aware of this issue and will do an update thru iTunes.
Does anyone here have any ideas as to why I can't iMessage or what I can try to get it to work again?

I decided I'm just too chicken. I went to the AT&T store this morning to see if they could help me but they said since it was an Apple problem, I should call an Apple Store. I did that and they said if I would come in they might be able to help me. But that would be driving across the bridge to St. Louis County which I will NOT do. Those highways are killers.
I've been seriously considering going with a prepaid plan because AT&T is getting to me. This was probably the final straw.
I really appreciate your time but guess I'll just pass. BTW, the Apple Store said they had NO idea when Apple would update the software to fix this problem since only about 1% suffered this problem. My children had no problems at all. So strange.
I did do the hard re-boot and disabled my Network setting and also IMessaging to no avail.

I thought it was because of Lion but with snow leopard i have the same problem (On another Mac).

To check the local network for some of the common configuration problems, launch Terminal.app and issue the following diagnostic command:
sudo changeip -checkhostname
That'll report some local configuration information and then either no errors detected and no changes required, or it'll point to whatever configuration errors or issues it might detect. That doesn't catch everything, but it catches the common errors.
FWIW, 192.168.0.0/24 and 192.168.1.0/24 are poor choices for the local network, as VPNs are based on IP routing and IP routing gets tangled when the same subnet is used on both ends of the VPN. 192.168.0.0/24 and 192.168.1.0/24 are near ubiquitous in home networks and coffee shops.
