After 9/12/07 Update Outlook not an option

using Win XP Pro with Outlook I do not have the option of syncing to Outlook. Up until this update, it was working fine.

I have the same problem.
Windows XP Pro
Outlook 2007
Outlook doesn't appear as an option to sync to, (not even for contacts), neither does Internet explorer.

The option to update without the computer (Over the air) was made available with iOS 5. If your iDevice is using a version of iOS lower than 5, you will need to use iTunes on your syncing computer to perform the upgrade. Use the Apple link below as a guide for the upgrade.

Unable to save PDF file to local drive from sap after Above reader XI update.(Not as sap issue ,this is related to Adobe)

Hi All,
Users are unable to download/save file from sap after a adobe XI update.(no pop comes to save/open)
Surprisingly,i am able to do so on my system without any adobe plug ins disabled or any registry editing.
This is a strange behaviour and need to be resolved Asap....
I contacted sap..this is not sap issue..this is a pure adobe reader bug.
Please need help on this experts

sap is running via SAPGUI ,no java system
- What system?
Users facing issue in all system
- What browser?

Yes,they are downloaded.
More Details-I did some tricks below which resulted in open/save popup......tht is not recomended by IT team...i need a permanent solution
In IE, goto menu Options -> "Manage
Addons", select in box "Show:" "Run without
permission", then you see the Adobe PDF plugin
Ichanged status to "Disabled
Also, if i change the registry key settings for users as
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AcroExch.Document.11
Value: EditFlags
Changed: 0x00000100
to 0x00000000
(Remove the "Open always with this
program" option)
ITS WORKING.....
But,in my system i need not to do all this settings and surprisingly it is working only for me,rest all users are facing this issue.....
If any one using Lync ,communicator ..do let me know..i wil show the actual scnerio.

Outlook not an option during synchronization

I am just setting up my new blackberry - I loaded the software and am trying to synchronize. When I click on contacts or calender or tasks I dont have an option of Outlook. Under contacts I have outlook express, but I am using outlook not outlook express. When My husband did it on his machine it worked fine he had the option in the list of outlook or outlook express. I dont have either? What do I do, I have been trying everything for 2 hours now!!!!

After running the recent update Iphone not detected by itunes

After running the recent iOS update on my iphone4, itunes no longer detects my iphone when I plug into my USB port. I ran the troubleshooter and got no relief. The phone also charges much slower from the USB than it used to but still seems to charge about the same when plugged into a separate power source. The phone also does not indicated it is charging anymore even when plugged into a separate power source.

After 6.1.2 update apps not working

After updating my iPhone with 6.1.2, all the apps that I had downloaded from app store have stopped working. Further app store is also not responding. Please help. All other pre installed apps that comes with Iphone are working fine.

AFTER 10.5.4 UPDATE "MEDIA NOT RECOGNIZED" WHEN BLANK DVD ON DRIVE

Hi, after update 10.5.4 my CDs and DVDs will be read and play in the Optical Drive, But when I insert a blank one, any kind, the finder will open and when I select to mount it "media not recognized" comes up. I have the same DVDs that Ive been burning to till this update with no problem at all.
I already did permissions repair.
Please help.

I have a problem pretty much like that too, I updated my mac, and now my superdrive won't read my discs, but unlike yours, it spits the disc out.
I did find out that it can recognize DVD +R, sometimes, but it can nolonger recognize DVD -R.

After 10.4.5 Update, Spotlight NOT WORKING...

Hi all.
I have practised the "strict protocol" of before/after OS Update: Unplug all extra accessories, repair permission, restart, update, repair permission and restart etc.
After the Software Update, everything seems fine, except Spotlight, when click on the icon on the Top Menu Bar, nothing happens; When using the keyboard command, the icon gets highlighted, but no 'field entry' to enter the text, the icon just get highlighted until pressing the hot keys again, it gets deselected.

Ok, I had a problem similar to yours and have finally found my problem - and it could explain others as well. If the "show bluetooth in the menu bar" preference is set to yes and there are a number of items being loaded at startup, SystemUIServer will not function correctly. I simply disabled the bluetooth icon in the menu bar and all works well. To give credit where credit is due, I figured this out from the change file included with a free app called Menu Master available here: http://www.unsanity.com/products/free

After BIOS 1.56 update AMD - not working ThinkPad S440

Hello, today early morning I got BIOS system update called "Thinkpad BIOS update [32,64]" for my Lenovo ThinkPad S400 via "Lenovo System update" program. After reboot, AMD Radeon HD 8670M is not working, shows yellow tick. I can't use programs that uses much of graphical memory. I have tried install later versions of AMD Catalyst, but it is not working too. Before this update, everything was running OK.
My computer needs another system update for AMD.
AMD version: 13.152.1.1400
Intel: 10.18.10.3316
ThinkPad BIOS: 1.56

I have an S440 and have had all sorts of problems with this BIOS update including the HDMI socket not working, machine not restarting from sleep mode when on battery. I can't say categorically that it's the AMD graphics adapter but it certainly seems to be linked. The behaviour changes with updates to the driver and re-installing it. Unfortunately it only changes the behaviour and doesn't fix it.
In the end I've downgraded the BIOS and it seems to be a lot better now.

My iPhone 5 is not being recognized by my Onkyo TX-8050 reciever when plugging into the USB. Is there a setting on my phone i need to set? Also, it has worked prior with this receiver however after the new software update will not work.

I am trying to hook up my iPhone 5 to my Onkyo TX-8050 receiver and it is not recognizing the phone. It recogized my phone prior to software update 7.1.2 and I can use an iPhone 4 and iPad with no issues. Is there a setting I need to apply for the reciever to recognize?

After 10.4.4 update - Will not dismount volumes

After upgrading eMacs from 10.4.3 to 10.4.4, we are having many issues with them not disconnecting from a Netware NFA hosted volume. You can mount it okay, but after using it, many times it will not dismount without logging out of the local computer. It worked just fine under 10.4.3. The problem is still present in 10.4.5. Anyone else seeing this?

Yes, I have noticed that my tri-partitioned FireWire drive many times fails to allow unmounting of one of its partitions, requiring log-out, since 10.4.4.

I have OS10.6 and when I try to update I receive error message after validating packages and updates to not tke.

Are you using Software Update? And what is the error message?
You are on 10.6.0? Why don't you download the combo updater for 10.6.8 directly from Apple and try to install it from there:

"Update Ipod" Not an Option

Okay - I downloaded new version of iTunes and I thought I did the newest version of iPod updater.
However if I go under "file - update iPod" it won't let me update it. But my ipod is recognized as a source.
Any body have an ideas?
Right now if I make any changes in my playlists, I am manually dragging songs from the library to the sources.
Also, my iPod constantly says "Do Not Disconnect".

It's not for updating the software, it's for updating the iPod with songs/data.

That's why that update option is not available, it's only available when you have automatic transfer selected for the iPod. If you have your iPod set to manual transfer, the iPod will display "do not disconnect" until you manually eject it from the computer even after music transfer has finished.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect to your computer & click on the "Update your device using iTunes".
Tip - You may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

Outlook not an option during synchronization with Curve

I am having same problem..... all my calendar and contact information is in Microsoft Outlook..... I'm trying to synch a curve with Microsoft outlook which is a part of my Office 2000..... And I'm using version 4.5 of Blackberry Desk Manager....
when I try to synch calendar I only get three choices: Yahoo, Ascii export, and "none"...... (but no Outlook)... when I try to synch with contacts, I again fail to get outlook as option, only output express which is my personal e-mail server, but does not contain my calendar and contact data that I loaded via desktop software from Palm (I'm trying to replace my Palm Zire 31 PDA with the curver)...
I sure need help I appreciate all replies plus an answer to this question: does blackberry have a tech support number for individual questions and help?
TarHeel who is greatly puzzled..... Do I have to turn in my Curve which I love exect I have so much data in OUtlook that I must have on my handheld even if I have to return to a Palm based phone... (PLs say I don't have to do this)

Outlook 2000 is not supported by version 4.5 of the Desktop Manager.
You will have to use a previous version of the Desktop Manager.
To get the latest version of the Desktop Manager that supports Outlook 2000, look at the top of the current page and click on the SOFTWARE button and find your way to the Desktop Software page.
