After a memory upgrade programme no longer working

Mac Mini as server running OS 10.5.8.
I just put in 1 GB of new memory in my server (Mac Mini) so now it has two modules one 256 and one 1GB. Nothing else changed.
Since doing that Ovolab Phlink (is my ‘answering machine’ programme) stopped working. It sees that a call is coming in and recognises the number but does not answer. On manual answering it plays the message to the caller but the phone keeps ringing. It also does no longer send a recording of the call per email.
I am not expecting anybody here to be familiar with Ovolab Phlink but wonder if anybody has a clue as to what could have happened that it was working fine immediately before and not working immediately after (all other programmes seem to be fine). Could it have to do with the internal battery having been disconnected? Or?

I do not think so! RAM is fine, and we have several MINI' with not matching RAM pairs. it will effect speed of some Applications, like with a video etc. but not the normal operating of the machine. Also as stated all other Applications run fine.

Facebook (FB) recently restructured their website. Contact Rhapsody to see if they have or plan to release an update for the app. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Have you tried resetting your device by pressing and holding the Home button and power button until the silver apple appears?

You can make all windows for an app 'expose' by putting the cursor on the Dock icon and using a 4-finger swipe-down.

After upgrade Script No Longer Works

After I upgraded CS4 to .605 my script no longer works. I get:

So it's still somewhat a mystery, because that particular command didn't change from CS4 to CS5.
Can you try the 'fix' mentioned here? CS5 issues

After iOS 4, 3G service no longer works on my 3G

I, too, have had horrible thinhs happen to my 3G after the iOS4 "upgrade." I've tolerated most, but now 3G service is not working.
Anyone have 3G no longer working on their 3G? Any fixes work for you?

Connect your iPhone to your computer, open iTunes, and on the main iPhone section you'll see a restore button. Click it and it will take you through the steps. Be sure to backup your iPhone though, syncing it with iTunes will do this for you. Also take off your photos and so forth before you restore just to be safe.

After update to 6 shortcuts no longer work in message

I have a peculiar message problem which I noticed right after updating to iOS 6. The shortcuts I used in message no longer work. I checked in settings and they are all still there but they are not active. I have so far tried deleting and re-creating one of the shortcuts, closing and re-launching the message app, and turning my phone off and re-starting it. All to no avail. Has anyone else encountered this problem, and does anyone know of a fix?

This is what I did step by step and it worked like a charm... I had an iPhone 4 when I did this a few days ago. I have documents and data ON in iCloud...
1. write down or take screenshots of all existing shortcuts
2. delete all shortcuts
3. backup to iCloud (I think this clears all shortcuts you have stored in iCloud)
4. go back to settings-->general-->keyboard... You may notice one or a few generic shortcuts pop up on their own. The one that popped up for me was OMW (on my way)
5. re enter all of your shortcuts and phrases
6. when done, back up again to iCloud (stores your new shortcuts)
I restarted my phone. Shortcuts still worked. I just got a 4S and restored from the iCloud backup mentioned in step 6 and my shortcuts worked on my new phone.

After software update Microsoft usb mouse no longer works. System Profiler "sees" usb mouse. I took my macbook to the Genius Bar at Apple and they were not able to help. Pretty lame....

After installing Mountain Lion Webdisk no longer work.

I am relatively new to Macs. I finally bit the bullet and purchased a new iMac to use for my photography. And I LOVE it!
The only problem I'm having with the upgrade from Lion to Mountain Lion is the inability for my WebDisk that is no longer working.
I've been getting two errors.
"Check the server name or IP address, and then try again. If you continue to have problems, contact your system administrator."
and
"You must accept the servers certificate to connect! Please try again"
Any suggestions?

T61 - turns off after a Memory Upgrade when I start an 3D application

I have replaced in my T61p Notebook the original Memory 1x2GB PC2-5300 with 2 Kingston KTL-TP667/2GB modules. Now, the Bios see 4 GB and Windows see 3GB. That is OK.
My Problem: When I start an 3D application like Futuremark, the Notebook switch after a few seconds off. No error, no Warning, the screen goes blank and the Notebook turns off. The Problem obtains also when I mix my configuration with the original Module and one of the new ones from Kingston.
Only the configuration with one 2GB Memory (Original or Kingston) will work.
Has someone an resolution for my Problem?

this is a known problem in the T61p which have problems using 2 x 2 gigs of ram when you are using graphics intensive programs. I don't know if there is a fix out yet for this problem.

After Windows 10 upgrade, scanner application not working

All was working fine prior to Windows 10 upgrade. Everything else works - printing is OK. Am using USB connection. From HP Printer Assistant when I try to activate "Scan an Dcoument or Photo" I get: "The HP Officejet Pro 8600 was not found" Tried the following: -- Switch to network connection. Established connection, but when I start HP Printer Assistant all I get is the Print options. No scan or fax options appear.-- HP Print and Scan Doctor. Loaded new software - not specified what software. The test scans run in this application actually work fine. But then I go back to the HP Printer Assistant and it still can't find the printer. So bottom line - no ability to scan.

I think it does. as I assume it is a soft error to with installing
You should check with the vendor of the program

You don't state if there are other programs that have difficulty working

or if the machine recognizes the additional ram nor if the ram is appropriate for your Mini.
Both is yes and would be the first thing anybody would check and so did I. also with everything else running fine you know the RAM is working.

After upgrade resin no longer works with Apache!BIG ISSUE

After the huge update - i ran into some big issue's !!!
Normaly i have apache,php and resin running. but now with the "new" apache - it can no longer accept resin's mod_caucho.so?
Running apachectl -t gives an error:
configerror at line 428 - mod_caucho.so cannot load the module - its proberly been garbled - perhaps this is not a reguar apache DSO module.
(this is not the correct error - but close - i've shut it down - becaurse people are able to se the code)
Normally this have worked fine - Apache is accepting the mod.so and have compiled resin from the button after - just for trying!
Have anybody got an idea about this!

Well - here's an update !
Now I have tried to get the old version of Apache - but still that doesen't help me.
After a total install(clean - 0.7.2 ) i do a pacman -Syu to get the final steps uptodate!! Afterwards i do
pacman -U apache.2.0.55
installing that (missing expat) so installing that to!
Afterwards I'm trying to install Resin - and get the error its a bad apxs! so go back to the old configuration is out of the question!
So what have been going so wrong that I'm not able to have a running Apache server along with Resin to handle my jsp pages!
I know others use tomcat - but I have never tried this - and loves Resin! Does anybody have an answer for this part!!!!!
Please help ! I have a quite a lot of pages that are not online at this point!
