After a perfect installation of Itunes I try to open it but I get windows error 2

Let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
http://www.rarlab.com/
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you? If so, does iTunes launch properly now?
If instead you get an error message during the install, let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

Thank you for responding. Nothing actually worked! After reading the posts online, I called Apple. They indicated they have seen problems with some software after their upgrades. The technician was able to fix the problem on my computer remotely, but I have no clue what he did! But, it was definitely related to their recent upgrade to my computer.

Maybe the preferences file is corrupted. You should be able to find the Word preferences file in the folder:
your user name/Library/Preferences
Its name is com.microsoft.Word.plist
I suggest you drag this another folder and try Word again.
If that doesn't work then you might find clearing the cache files will fix the problem. You can do this manually but I never bother. Instead I use a program like Snow Leopard Cache Cleaner (shareware) or Onyx (free). These programs do lots of other maintenance jobs so it's worth having at least one of them.

If this is the Apple TV 1, this is a new issue which started with any new protected content purchased after October 28.
You could de/re authorise your computer, disconnect and reconnect the library and resync your content, alternatively purchasing content directly from the Apple TV also appears to resolve the problem.

Do a clean reinstall.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

When I try to open my programs I get an Error: 1 message.

So I tried to uninstall it to reinstall it again. But when I try to uninstall it says uninstall failed and it gives me a list of things to do and try again. After doing the list and trying again it still won't uninstall. i tryed next to install it to maybe fix things but after it gets through the installing part it says there are files missing. But there are no specifications as to what files are missing. I am also unable to do a system restore to fix anything that might have happened. Any help here would be amazing on how to fix this would be much appreciated.

You have not provided any system info or other technical details like what programs you are actually referring to, so we can't know what is going on.

I downloaded Firefox version 4.0.1 today on a windows vista PC, and now I can't access firefox at all. I try to open it, but no firefox windows open up. Is there a way to fix this?

But when I try to uninstall the programme to try and download it again, it won't let me because it says firefox is still running, yet no windows are open.

I found that if I had a complicated session (lots of tabs open) that Firefox had trouble opening the first time (it has been fine since). To fix this I deleted my session files in my Profile after making a copy of them.
Here's how if you're still having trouble:
On Windows, your Profile is in "%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles" - paste that into the Run menu (Windows key + r) and look for session.rdf, sessionstore.bak and sessionstore.js. Delete those, restart Firefox and you should be on your home page. Good luck!

Do a malware check with some malware scan programs.<br />
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.<br />
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.<br />
