After a recent update my acrobat 10 is not working, It says it is missing DATA1.CAB file, help

Hello, the acrobat 10 fille recently updated & failed & now it does not work. I says it can't fine a DATA1.CAB file, Help.

It took me a while to find it but it worked when i finally found the right one thanks!

How did you install Acrobat, did you install it as a part of Suite installation.
If it is a part of suite then deactivate suite uninstall Acrobat, Reinstall Acrobat using Suite media. Launch Photoshop first and Activate.
Then try launch Acrobat.

After the Jan update my Wifi is not working ?

After the update Safari is giving me "Safari cannot open because the server could not be found." However, it only does this for about half of the time. For example: I am on Yahoo and click on Movies it will work. Then, I click on Sports and I get the message. I tried to see if it was a distance problem and is not. I am really upset that this problem I started after I paid $20 for those apps, which don’t even work because of this Wifi problem.

AFTER INSERT OR UPDATE TRIGGER the insert not working

The update works but the insert is not working. I have two version that I have tried. I amd executing the inserts/update from Oracle Applications and the table row is either being inserted or updated correctly.

HT1414 after a software update the device is not working properly and can not open any website.

I can operate it properly after an software update . Now no website cannot be opened and cannot get emails. Main thing cannot go to tunes and app store .

Why does Acrobat suddenly not work on my Mac (won't open pdf files from a web page), yet I can open them from my iPhone? Everything worked fine yesteray.

I have a Mac running OS 10.8.5 and I use Acrobat Pro and Acrobat Reader. Today for some reason, any time I try and access a pdf file from a web page, it won't open. I get a blank window. PDF files already on my computer open fine and I can create PDF files from Word docs, but I can't download or view any pdf file from any web page. Strangely, PDF files on web pages open just fine on my iPhone.
I checked that both my copy of Acrobat Pro and Acrobat Reader are up-to-date. They are.
I checked that my copy of Firefox is up-to-date. It is. And nothing changed with Firefox within the last 24 hours.
I am a humble computer end-user. I am baffled as to why this would suddenly not work. I have not changed any settings, etc. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I checked your instructions you sent and as far as I can tell all of my settings, etc for Firefox (plugin updates and preferences) are correct but I am having the same problem.
However, everything works in Safari. I don't have time to attempt to diagnose why Firefox no longer works. I will just switch to Safari.

After most recent update, google maps will not load, i'm using cricket a600 USB on a dell inspiron windows 7?

I can use IE browser and Google maps loads fine. I can use my droid bionic as a hot spot (using Verizon 4GLTE) and Google maps loads fine. I can go to McDonald's and use their WI-FI and it loads fine. But my CRICKET a600 USB is worthless using Firefox 8. I need Google maps for my lively hood. Very frustrating. it might also be worth heading to the support pages for your laptop makes and models to check for any chipset updates or other updates relevant to the USB. i've seen some hints lately that some peculiar issues with USB on HPs could be resolved by a chipset update. (although those problems seem to present in different ways than a "Firmware Update Failure".)

Iphone 4 is stuck in a power turning off and on cycle after trying to update to ios 6 (not on ios 6 yet) and Itunes wont recognise it =/ help's appreciated ;)

I was trying to update my iphone 4 to ios 6 yesterday, and it got stuck on the apple screen as you turn it on. What's happening is that the phone is turning on, showing the apple symbol, staying on for around 8 seconds, turning off for about 1 or 2 seconds, then repeating. Itunes won't recognise it either. Any suggestions?

Reset, hold both Home and Power buttons until the iphone restarts. If still problem, open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer with USB Cable. Hold both home and power buttons until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode. This takes about 20 seconds of holding both buttons. Click the Restore Button of iTunes.

Personas not working after latest FF update and "solution" is not working

I am still unable to get my favorite personas to rotate. I'm upset that personas used to work quite nicely even though I had it set to clear history every time firefox was closed. I want personas to rotate AND have history cleared again. In the meantime, I've disabled clearing history--now how do I get the rotator working again please.

Personas should work if you aren't in Private Browsing mode.
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in (permanent) Private Browsing mode.

*Deselect: [ ] "Always use private browsing mode"
When you are in Private Browsing mode then the persona is disabled (bug 852295) and you get the default theme and a purple PB icon in the Firefox menu button or the right end side of the menu bar (tab bar on Linux) and "(Private Browsing)" appended to the title bar.

The Ask Toolbar is causing that in the Firefox 3.6.13+ versions. Uninstall that extension.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:

Yup, your question and Diane's answer helped me also. Tho' I had had problems before getting into the iTunes store I always managed to find a way. Today they had me blocked cold with the "Update to 10" advert no matter what I did. Other questioners are being told, incorrectly as it turns out, that they have to update their OS to accomodate iTunes 10 and upgrade to iTunes 10. I did the download which did not take up much more room on my crowded old hard drive and now I'm back in business.

The same thing happened to me today. I trusted the "update" message since it was from Adobe, and apprently did so at my own peril. Now I get the "failed to load Core dll" message with a secondary reference to a memory address.
Just an observation, but what good are these forums when there are no answers? I see this problem as "Caused by Adobe Update", and would expect them to troublshoot and offer up a remedy. Since you've been waiting over two months with no response, I suppose it's time to trek off wasting more of my precious time to fix their problem. If I find the solution, I'll post it back to you.

How do I reverse a recent update to Acrobat 9 Pro?

After a recent update to Acrobat 9 Pro, PDF documents do not diplay properly. The resolution is very poor, and bold fonts are too dark. These documents display properly (and as before the update) in Acrobat 9 Reader. How can I fix this or return to a previous version?

That's it! Page Display/Smooth Text was set to None. I have changed it to Laptop/LCD with all options
checked, and it looks as it should. I have never touched that setting, so I'm wondering if the update
did something to change it. I am also getting dialog boxes re Accessibility settings, which never come
up before. Thanks so much for this simple and very effective fix!
