When using SearchMyWeb I cannot scroll to see all the results.

My guess is that the issue is caused by either the Yahoo Toolbar or Yontoo Layers add-ons even though they are disabled.

Cannot scroll past certain areas in apps

I encountered this problem a long time ago but it just recently became very disruptive.
(first off, my phone is a BlackBerry Curve 8530)
It appears that a bug causes the trackpad to stop scrolling past a particular area for whatever reason. Some time ago, I encountered this problem in my iheartradio app. I was unable to scroll through all of the genres to get to the one I wanted. I can't remember which, but for all intents and purposes, let's say there were 20 genres. I could scroll down through genres 1-15 but I could not scroll any further in order to get to 16-20. I never figured out why it did that, but the problem was "resolved" after I updated the app (because of the interface change). The problem went away becauses the list of genres were oriented in a very different manner.
Now, I have encountered this problem in the App World app.
I was bored and started playing in App World and came across "iSpeech Translator" (which is No. 25 in the "Top Free" category). When it was installing, I hit the back button to go back to the "Top Free" list (did this cause the problem?) and now it appears that my phone became "stuck" at No. 25....in ALL categories. Top Free, Top Paid, New Arrivals, Top Rated....in all of them, I cannot scroll past the 25th app....and it is incredibly frustrating. I can only scroll from 1 to 25...and no further.
I've tried reinstalling App World, downgrading App World, and pulling the battery but nothing has worked so far. I was unable to find a reference to my specific problem through Google so I'm not sure what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
EDIT: I'm not 100% certain, but there may or may not be more than 25 items to browse (since 25 is a pretty standard cut-off number) Can someone please confirm this for me. Additionally, I distinctly remember being unable to scroll through all of the genres in my iheartradio app....so hopefully I'm not going crazy

When you see the old number come up in the suggested choices look for a blue arrow to the right of the Contact. Tap the blue arrow and then tap Remove from Recents.

Why does the Mac App Store default back to the first page of results?

When I search in the MAS for any app and there are more than one page of results, while I am browsing pages 2 and up when I select an app to look at and go back to the search results (either by swiping on my trackpad OR clicking the back button) the list of pages defaults to the first page of results. Is this a bug or is there some setting somewhere that I can change to make it work right??

You could log a feature request with Apple via the bugreport tool, if you have access to that tool.

I can only access apps by double tapping and i cannot scroll past what is showing on the screen how do i change this

New Ipad, cannot move past wifi page, incorrect password?

I am a first time Ipad user, bought a new Ipad for my wife. I cannot get past the connect to wi-fi page. When I click on the recognized wifi link and enter my pass word I get a message saying 'incorrect password' I have checked and rechecked my password for the router and it is correct. Do I have a bad Ipad or????

The password is usually printed on the router's label.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

I cannot leave the first page of a series of slected websites 1, 2, 3 and so on, I always return to the same first page.

When searching an item with Google, a page full of websites is presented, with on the bottom of the page a choice of more websites on the following pages: 1 2 3 4 5 (all with underscore).
When I try to click the next page, always the first page is presented.

Quit Safari.
Open the Library folder in your home folder as follows:
☞ If running OS X 10.7 or later, hold down the option key and select Go ▹ Library from the Finder menu bar.
☞ If running an older version of OS X, select Go ▹ Go to Folder… from the Finder menu bar and copy the line below into the text box that opens:

Single page vertical scrolling website - first 'page' to fill browser

I'm creating a single page vertical scrolling website.
I would like the first 'page' to be a photo which fills not only the width but also the height of the screen.
Is there any way to make the box do this without simply making the box height very tall to accommodate for taller screens?

Since installing the latest version I cannot scroll down my pages using the button on the pad on my laptop

I had the old version of Firefox and was invited to install this version when it had finished i went back on line only to find the button on the laptop mouse pad no longer scrolls down the page. I now have to drag it down with the bar at the side.

Use "Firefox > Exit" (Windows: Firefox/File > Exit; Mac: Firefox > Quit Firefox; Linux: Firefox/File > Quit) to close Firefox if you are currently doing that by clicking the close X on the Firefox title bar.

Read serialized objects : cannot read past first object : StreamCorrupted

I have written multiple instances of an object to a file. When I try to read them back, the first one works but the second gets a StreamCorruptedException: Type code out of range, is -84.
Several Forum topics deal with this, but I have found no relevant replies.

The answer, thanks to Bass345, is:
4 bytes of header info is stored each time.
So, call skip on the FileInputStream.
fileInputStreamName.skip((long)4);
Note it is the FileInputStream, not the ObjectInputStream.

After update to OSX, cannot scroll in Mail, messages won't display

My mailbox will not allow me to scroll through my messages. I must click on a message and use the up or down arrow keys.
Also, the short display works, but the message doesn't show over to the right. Sometimes I can click on the message and it will display in a new window, but sometimes it does not, only the headers.
Any help would be apreciated.

Rebooting the phone seems to have solved this for the time being. I will let everyone know if it recurs.

Neo4 Platinum Board, boot issue, cannot get past first screen

I've spent some time looking through the forum to see if anyone had a solution to the problem I am about to describe and did not find one.
Here is the issue:
Whenever any USB device (1.1 or 2.0) is hooked up to any one of the four onboard USB ports all I get is the initial logo screen and the computer never moves on. I have tested hooking up a USB Keyboard, USB Mouse, enclosures, pen drives, etc. As long as there is a usb device in an onboard USB port the computer will not move past the initial logo screen. If there are no USB devices plugged into the onobard USB ports then the system will go all the way through with the boot and get into windows. Once within Windows the four onboard USB ports work fine. You can plug devices in and they are recognized. If there is already a solution to this issue I apologize for posting this and please point me in the right direction.

Did you use the USB ports on the motherboard, or did you use any USB port attached to the motherboards extra connectors? if the latter, it suggests that you have some faulty wiring of the USB cables. Check so that the connectors of the USB ports are correct with their signals according to the pin layout.
Faulty wired USB will cause the problem you describe.
Also check that you have not damaged the USB port. I have seen some computers where the plastic pin in the USB port has been broken of, and the connectors have been grounded. One example was a computer where the 5VSB was bent, grounding it, resulting in that the motherboard did not recognise any PS2 or USB keyboards.
Third, if the devices you attach draw to much amphere through the USB, it may cause these problems. You might need a powered USB hub.
Fourth, make sure your powersupply is powerful enough if you have many USB devices.

After upgrading to Yosemite cannot load past login screen (FREEZE w/IMG)

I JUST updated to Yosemite, that went fine on my 2012 iMac. However I kept getting this MLB..... type plugin notification that would not go away. Even if i press more information or "ok" it would pop back up again every 10 seconds and kept it as an active window every time. I got very annoyed and started a purge of plugins and extensions that I read online that would relate to it.
So I guess somehow in my successful purge I deleted an essential start up extension/plugin. Because I can login successfully, but then when it attempts to load my account I get a freeze on this screen.
Yes I attempted to start in safe mode, it kept giving errors that start up failed to start properly
I attempted also disk repair. I repaired and verifyed disk through cmd + r and it said everything was fine. Rebooted, still got crazy start up screen
I also attempted D for a start up command, gave me an archaic verifying for hardware. Again it said nothing was wrong. I did the quick version, currently doing the more through version which takes up to 1+hrs and nothing so far.
I am asking can I put a start up disk, or some file on a USB start there and try to put back a correct set of start up files? All while trying to preserve my current files?
Thorough and general help is greatly appreciated!

After OCR, search starts at bottom of each page and goes up

I am using Acrobat Pro XI and am using OCR (Exact image) on PDFs of scanned documents. For some reason, after the OCR is complete, when I search for words in the document, it is going to the last instance on a page and then searching *up* the page; when it gets to the top, it goes to the next page, heads to the bottom, and then works its way up again. In one document, I have a real mixed bag, whereby it searches down on one page and goes up the next one. Running this as part of the CC on a Windows 8.1 machine. Previously had the stand-alone Acrobat X and never hard this problem before.

Never heard of this before. Is this happening with one particular scanned PDF file or in general with every PDF file?
Also please share the following information:
OS Language
Version of Windows 8.1 you are using (32-bit or 64 bit)
Also, please try to update Acrobat to latest version and see if this helps. To do so, goto Help->Check for Updates in Acrobat XI pro.
