After a sucessfull install, why am I receiving the "This document could not be printed", and "There are no pages selected to print" errors after a restart?

I have ran into this issue a few times and I don't think the reinstall is the problem. I have some End Users who are telling me they can't print from the IE. Our environment uses IE8 to print forms. I will install the application ( Adobe Reader XI ) and it will work fine for that day. Once they restart, the errors appear and they can no longer print. Has anyone had any experience with this?

Two things to try: open Adobe Reader | Edit | Preferences
Documents: change 'View documents in PDF/A mode' to Never
Security (Enhanced): uncheck 'Enable Protected Mode at Startup'

Printing error "The document could not be printed", ok "There were no pages selected to print" WHY?

I have a file that is 2.52MB and when I go to print it it gives me the error box "The document could not be printed" I click OK and get "There were no pages selected to print" I made sure that I chose the All pages button. I also tried the Pages and selected all the pages. But here is the funny part. I have Adobe Profesinal and I have converted imged PDF' to searchable PDF's meany times. Although the original document was already searchable I ran the convertion tool on the original searchable PDF and now the file is 33.5MB and now I can print this document. Is there a security tool that was added to the original document?

Hello PW, I am having this problem and all suggestions haven't worked yet. Where is the Preferences|Documents you are referring to? I am on a PC and using Windows.
EDIT: I found it and did, but still not working.

Trash the preference files while application is NOT Running.
Easiest way to find out if this is the problem is by:
• Create a new User-Account
• Log out of Your old one and into this
• Re-try iMovie
If it now works OK - then 99.9% the problem is iMovie pref. file that needs to be trashed.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
If your back up continually fails, you might try turning off back up on your mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup) and then deleting the backup file from iCloud by swiping the backup file on the mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup > manage…) and then turning back up on again.
Being able to back up to the cloud can be very useful, especially if you don't have access to a computer or have infrequent access to one, however unless you specifically need to use iCloud for back up, you will find backing up to iTunes significantly more convenient and possibly more reliable.

DO NOT USE PREVIEW TO FILL OUT PDF FORMS, IT WILL DESTROY PDF FILES. Sorry, but I had to shout here to prevent damage to your PDF files.
Here is one of the symptoms when you fill out a PDF form with Preview: If you save it and return it to the author, they will not be able to see the text that you've added to form fields - unless they click on a field, which will reveal the contents of just that field. You can recover from this problem, but Preview will also remove other field types, and will actually rewrite your complete PDF while ignoring what it does not understand. TS3992 I am receiving the ""This iPhone cannot be backed up because there is not enough iCloud storage available" but I show 4.9 of 5.0GB available.

Why do I get the original file could not be found

I get this sign when I transfered several songs from a Windows folder to Itunes, I see a ! exclamation mark right next to the songs name. Can anybody help on that one please?

If you post back the two paths I may be able to suggest an easy fix
(that would not have created duplicates).

Apple's official advice is here... HT2905 - How to find and remove duplicate items in your iTunes library. It is a manual process and the article fails to explain some of the potential pitfalls, such as lost ratings and playlist membership.
Use Shift > View > Show Exact Duplicate Items to display duplicates as this is normally a more useful selection. You need to manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sorting the list by Date Added may make it easier to select the appropriate tracks, however this works best when performed immediately after the dupes have been created. If you have multiple entries in iTunes connected to the same file on the hard drive then don't send to the recycle bin.
Use my DeDuper script if you're not sure, don't want to do it by hand, or want to preserve ratings, play counts and playlist membership. See this thread for background and please take note of the warning to backup your library before deduping.

I just installed Lion to my iMac. Every thing works like before except for iTunes. When I clicked on it, it said the iTunes file could not be found, and that there was a new version of iTunes. I said to install it, but then I get a box saying it is waitin

I just installed Lion and everything works fine except for iTunes. It says it cannot find my iTunes file, then asks if I want the latest version of iTunes. I clck yes, then get a box saying it is waiting for other downloads to complete. That box just sits there as I have no other downloads waiting. How do I get my music back? Actually it is all my wives', and I want to get it back for her. Any help will be appreciated.

This "original file cannot be found" thing happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .
