After a travel abroad I have forgotten to activate wifi, and I have got the message telling that I have not done any backups for 2 weeks on my iPad. It is impossible to get rid of this message and do the correcting actions. pls help
The message stays on the iPad screen no matter how many times I push the OK-button.
Any ideas how to get through this problem?

Hold Sleep and Home buttons for 10 seconds until your device restarts, so you will be able to use your device again. Finally, open Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup, and make a backup. The device will be backed up when it's plugged to the charger and connected to your network

Cheers.That error is coming from the Palm Hotsync software. Have you tried uninstalling/deleting that software and reinstalling it?
Is that software compatible with Leopard (10.5)? -
My iPad mini is locked due to the "no backup in past 2 weeks message." I can't power it off or get rid of this message. HELP!
Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

The last upgrade, I guess, installed the cloud, which I don't use, an album I hate [U2] and most of all got rid of 2/3 of my music and all my audiobooks! how can I get rid of this junk and get my old version and all my stuff back?

Whenever i open iTunes it tells me that 2 of my downloads cannot be completed because the file may be corrupted. I cannot get rid of this message or complete the downloads. Other downloads worked. What can i do to get rid of this warning message or complete the downloads?

Try deleting the problematic file (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer. -

After opening my yahoo mail window, I keep getting a very short and narrow dialogue box with the words "log into Xmarks" I cannot ... when it pops up, always upper left of my laptop screen and I try to get into my yahoo mail web page, I get a DING sound and cannot enter it ... everything is frozen. I have to hit CNTRL + ALT + ESC to get rid of it - and then reload my Firefox browser to get back to my yahoo e-mail page ... fortunately for me, Firefox re-stores a previous session ... To display this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (such as a search or order confirmation) that was performed earlier. How do i get rid of this? it keeps pop n up and screw n up my stuff... if there is not a fix I will be dropping fox and going back to internet explorer.. this is not worth the headache!
Are you getting that anytime you visit a page? Or after you hit the 'refresh', 'back' or 'forward' button?
This error is not usually an error telling you that anything is broken, it's warning you that you are re-doing something you have already done. The page that you are trying to re-access, or refresh was a page that was doing something. Maybe you told the page to search for something, or you were filling out a form, or perhaps doing something like adding something to a shopping cart. Firefox warns you in case it's something you really don't want to do again; for example, accidentally buying a second toaster, or re-sending a comment form.
If you only were searching or navigating around a page, it's generally ok to press the 'Resend' button.
This safety feature is not unique to firefox, I can't offhand think of a browser that doesn't have it (though the wording may vary).
However, if you are getting it constantly, every page you visit, on every website, all the time, then it's a bug. -
I booted up my computer and opened up my usual shortcuts. I got a message from iTunes that a new version was available and would I like to download it. I clicked on "yes". It took over 1/2 hour to download and now ALL of my songs sound like a skipping record or like they are tripping over themselves. I uninstalled the ITunes and tried reinstalling my old version. I've tried EVERYTHING I could think of to get my old version back but everytime I go through the download process I get a message saying that - the file "iTunes Library.itl "cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of iTunes. I was finally able to download a version that will open but it has the same "skipping" problem. How do I stop/fix this or COMPLETELY get rid of this version of iTunes and re-download what I had??? I'm REALLY distressed. Jim
Usually, the exclamation mark tells you that the song was not where the program expected to find it. It may also mean that there was an error with the file itself.
If you click on the exclamation mark, it may give you a reason. You can also double click the file to make it play. If the file is not found, it will tell you. Just follow the prompts to look for the song again. It will ask you if you want to look for the other missing songs in the same folder. You can do it, but unfortunately, the last few updates have made the program blind to the songs that are there and you sometimes have to do the same process for each song.
If neither of these help, I would suggest starting from scratch and reinstalling iTunes. I have had to do that before. Do your best to back up the library and such first.
Sometimes a computer will rename a hard disk (Windows) and all the songs on that disk will be gone to iTunes because it will think it's looking in the right place. It can't recognize that the hard disk or partition has been renamed.
I know that this is a podcast, but the principle is the same. A dialogue box should pop up to tell you just what the problem is.
