After about Thursday, Firefox stopped working completely. I really need to get it up again, I have all my bookmarks!
There seem to be new updates buzzing around but I just recently got all my bookmarks to sync on 2 computers and now all of the sudden Firefox does not work at all on either. It takes a few minutes just to boot a page and then there is a lag time when I type anything so I cant even see what I am typing both in search window, nav bar, and on sites. Some bits of the window come through in pieces and it seems like the whole application is dead. I need all my passwords back if I am going to have to switch to safari!!! Please get firefox to work again.
Honestly posts in these forums are unrealistically skewed since very few people come here when their devices are working o.k and post as much.
Considering there is a pool of tens of millions of iOS devices that updated to iOS 8 and only a very very small percentage are posting issues, like under 100,000 if we are to be honest, I think its fairly unlikely you ill run into any issues.
But of course no one can guarantee one way or the other.
Al anyone can offer is personal experience in this case.
I updated an iPhone 5, an iPad 2 , and an iPad Mini and have had no issues with any device.
Many of my friends updated there devices as well, and nobody has mentioned having any issues with them.

No. If you failed to turn off Find my iPhone BEFORE you upgraded to iOS 7, you will need the original Apple ID and password. If you upgraded to iOS 7 you will need this info; there is no way around this. If it is the device passcode you will need to restore your iPhone in order to reset that, which in the end will require your Apple ID and password in order to activate the phone once it is restored.
Why don't you have the original Apple ID? Where did you get the phone? -
I just ran the update to .4 as the dialog box said to. Now firefox won't work at all. Nothing happens I get a message about a .dll file that is incompatible. Tried to doanload a new copy but that doesn't get any further starting to extract files then it fails to finish. Any thing I can do or have I lost evrery thing including my bookmarked sites?

Morbus! It worked like you said. Anyway I think the problem starts with maybe needing to completely clean up my OS and drives as they keep "filling up" real fast - much faster than my usage. Uninstall wouldn't work so I just oened up programs and fond the .exe and then deleted it. Scary moment as I really have seen others so mess up everything doing this but download went well of new copy and yes I have all my bookmarks and settings. YAYS!! so thank you again. Also running so much faster and no glitches like tabs not working th way they should. In end I think I need to get an upgrade from Vista home basic. and just then add my files one at a time to see how all goes. -
after installing firefox 5 I now cannot get by Google toolbar and all my bookmarks are on there. How do I go back to my previous version of firefox and get my Google toolbar back?
Where? All I've found is the older version that is NOT compatible with FF5

Firefox stopped working and won't install after I uninstall and reinstall.
Firefox stopped working one day. It would not load anything. I followed the directions and completely uninstalled and then reinstalled Firefox. It goes through the process and then says Firefox will load momentarily. It never does. Also, what do you have against hiring people to answer questions in person?
It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Safari and firefox stop working after a few minutes of browsing, regardless of what site I'm on. I have to restart my computer to get internet access again but it only works for a few more minutes, then I have to restart again. I don't get a spinning ball, it just stops working at whatever page it's on. I can close the program just fine but when I re-open it, either safari or firefox, it freezes trying to load the hompage. This started a few days ago after trying to stream a movie on my computer. I'm on a Mac Air OS X Version 10.6.8 and have downloaded all updates. When I go into finder, it says I have over 80 gigs available. Is there some other memory cache that I need to check? Thanks so much for your help.

I'm not trying to belittle your issues; you're certainly having them and I know first hand how annoying an intermittent AirPort issue can be. (In fact, mine was due to an AirPort driver bug that no one else seemed to suffer from.)
The single best diagnostic you could do is take your system running 10.5.7 to an Apple Store, and try using their in-store network.
If your machine performs flawlessly, it may be a router issue.
If your machine has connectivity issues there, it may be a hardware problem with your machine.
There have been numerous people in multiple threads over the years who swore that an update was buggy because things used to work, but returned later to sheepishly admit that they took their machine in, a problem was found and fixed, and now their Mac works flawlessly with the newer software.
But simply reinstalling 10.5.5 in no way means the explanation of how firmware bugs may be at play here is incorrect.
In the context of that explanation, all you've done is possibly reinstall software that asks to add "2 + 3." -
Firefox has stopped working completely
Firefox stopped working after I changed preferences to have it clear history on closing. I have reinstalled 3 times (new version) Will not launch at all. Will not reset Will not open in safe mode. At the very least I would like to salvage my bookmarks. iMac running OS 10.9.1. Anti virus software disabled for this problem
Reinstalling wont do much for this problem, instead you should create a new profile and transfer files from the old to the new.

Firefox stops working after computer goes to sleep 37.0.1
Running Win7 Home Premium and Firefox 37.0.1. Since this upgrade, when any of my three computers goes to sleep, Firefox stops working. Sometimes the process can be exited, but regardless, Firefox cannot be reloaded and the computer must be rebooted. When the computer has gone to sleep, and Firefox has stopped working, other browsers, such as Explorer also say they cannot connect to the internet. The fact that this problem simultaneously appeared on different computers following this upgrade suggests that this is a Firefox problem. The only way I can avoid this is to exit Firefox after every use. In many cases, the only web page visited during a session is google.
This is a known issue, and the programers are looking at it.

FireFox stopped working after I tried to update my settings
I have just built a new computer; x58 Gigabyte, 920 cpu, windows 7 Ultimate. I downloaded and installed the latest version of Firefox and everything was working great. I updated my bookmarks and everything still worked fine. I tried to update my personal settings by copying a file in my personal folder and Firefox stopped working. "Can't run because it is already running". I rebooted, no help. I removed and reinstalled no help. I am at your mercy please don't make me use Internet Explorer

Use another browser to install Safari again.
You can download Firefox for the Mac, place the download on a USB thumb drive stick it into the Mac and copy it, run the installer.
Once FF is on, download a new copy of Safari from Apple's site.

After Effects.exe has stopped working (on initialization)
I have a Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit machine with Intel Core2 Extreme (Q6850) @ 3GHz with 4GB RAM 1TB drive space with 152GB used. [Adobe Creative Suite 3 Master Collection]
Upon initialization of Adobe After Effects I see the splash screen as it loads it's components then all of a sudden I get an error message that "After Effects.exe has stopped working", Vista then attempts to find a "solution" and then the program closes. This also is occuring with Sound Booth & Premier Pro so I'm thinking it may be a codec issue. I've tried reinstalling (repairing) and I've uninstalled it completely then rebooted and installed it again with no success. Unfortunately I'm stuck with Vista, are there any known solutions to this issue?Exactly as David says. Vista installs always require Administrator access. If you have turned off UAC, log on to the Administrator account, otherwise choose the method already mentioned. Before attempting this again, use the CS3 Clean Scripts from the support pages. They will delete everything instantly and spare you a lengthy uninstall, plus they will fix the install references on the system, so you will get a clean install.

When I try to click on messages in this link : http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com I get a message box that says firefox stopped working. If I use Windows explorer it works fine. I have been using this all season and last week it stopped. I uninstalled firefox an downloaded the latest version and it still failed. where can i go to get more detail? What do you suggest.
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox Profile Folder.

2 of my movies are no longer working in my iTunes or on my iPod Touch, One doesn't play at all and the other gets to about 29:00 than stops working and I don't want to buy them again.
